Simple Sugars in Sand Suede - I love these shoes! They're so cute, and I get a lot of compliments on them. The only drawback I've found is in the back of the shoes - They rub against the back of my ankles (not so much that they bleed, but enough to make them hurt after a while). I'm hoping that as I wear them more, they'll stretch out a little and get better. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these shoes and would consider buying another pair in another color.

Great shoe- I was looking for a black shoe that was casual yet stylish. This shoe works! It is a little bit stiff across the bridge where my foot bends, but I think that will ease with wear.

This is a great casual sneaker, with a classic look. I wear these on the weekends and as I walk to work in the mornings (as an alternative to running shoes which aren't always in sync with business clothes). They initially pinched the back of my heel, but once broken in, they are fine. Got lots of compliments on these.

Simple Retro Tennis Shoe - This shoe is comfy right away, but it doesn't have much arch support. While looking down at the shoe, you'll think your feet look great--and they do!--it might not be the shoe of choice for lots of walking. But for easy fit and great comfort, it's a super simple shoe!

More interesting than a sneaker - Comfortable, lightweight and cool (unlike heavy leather sneakers)this is a good shoe for errand running, shopping, sight seeing etc. Though I wear a heel orthotic in all my enclosed shoes so I don't know how comfortable it would be without added support. It was roomy enough in my regular size with the insert.

very cute - I've wanted these shoes forever... I love the way they look but they are not great for standing or walking for a long length of time

Comfy & stylish non-performance shoe - These are great shoes, but they are just what they look like-a comfy shoe to wear shopping or to school and not for a whole day on your feet or to replace any performance shoe. Great with skirts, jeans, shorts. I got the "sand' color and they go with everything and look great. I'm a new mom and wanted something that felt kind of cool but not TOO cool and definitley not too MOM-ish. These are just the right ones!

A great "dressy" tennis shoe - I love these shoes! For me, the smaller the shoe the more I love it, but I have to wear closed-toe, closed back shoes to work. And there I'm on my feet on a concrete floor. These shoes have athletic looks, but feel more like a comfortable casual shoe. Their soles aren't as thick, they are cut low around the ankle and their overall design makes them a bit more narrow than your average athletic shoe. So if that's what you usually wear, you might be disappointed with these. But if you're like me and think regular tennis shoes are too blocky, too clunky & too confining, you'll LOVE these. Not to mention, they're pretty stylish!

These shoes are really wide through the toe box, so I wish I had ordered one-half size smaller. The trim and laces are off-white and the off-white canvas may get dirty too fast (the shoes are suede and not washable) but they look great!

What a great shoe! I just love these shoes - they're simple yet classy at the same time- and they go so well with whatever you're wearing - I love them so much that I own two pairs!

I really like these shoes, but they were a little uncomfortable at first. They made my heels very sore, but it only took a few days to break them in. Now I really like them. They are really cute with or without socks.

Great casual shoe - For a casual shoe, this is a good bet. It's not super comfy. I wouldn't go on a long walk or anything like that in them, but for kicking around in jeans on the weekend they're perfect.

new comfy shoes - These shoes are super cute and very comfortable. The only worry I have is that the suede and white cotton will be difficult to keep clean. They seem a little fragile on the keeping clean aspect. Other than that, they are my new favorites. I wear them everyday, cute with jeans.

Simple's Sugar is Sugar! Loved the looks of this shoe! Comfortable, BUT too wide for my foot. Can't seem to get them tied tight enough. I was looking for a "retro 60's" look and they came pretty close.

Simple sugar- good comfort - Although I love the shoe- after wearing it for 10 hours (I am on my feet all day for work)I found my feet were very sore and "tired". I took a day off and put them on again; for every day- not "on your feet" work they are great!

So cute! I love these shoes; my only complaint is that they are a bit wide, but then again I do have narrower than average feet. I wear them with sole inserts and that makes it better, I have a high arch and the shoes don't have the greatest arch support if you don't put any kind of orthodic in.

Good shoe - I love simple shoes. These seem a litte large in size. I always wear a size 8, and I think a 7.5 might have been a better fit. Great comfort, looks cute, overall a good shoe.

Compliments galore! I bought this shoe in tan (or whatever they call it) and I love them. I've received numerous compliments on them -- even my dad told me he liked them and usually he hates my taste in shoes. I teach fourth grade and I even caught some of my students eying them. I had read reviews on this site that these shoes run wide, so I bought a half size smaller than I usually wear and I kinda wish I hadn't. They're almost too small, but they still fit and I do love 'em. So comfy!

Review of recent purchase - I wore the shoes on a recent trip to Az. I wore them with no socks the first time and developed blisters on each little toe. My mistake-no socks! I wore them 2 days later walking at the Grand Canyon with socks and they did fine no new blisters! They look great and are very comfortable.

Comfortable shoe! When I pulled it out of the box I thought it looked a bit narrower from the top view than I expected. It is very comfortable and so light weight yet provides great support. I enjoy wearing this shoe.

Great Casual Staple - These shoes are very cute and comfortable, but the support isn't so great. I wore them shopping for 3 hours and my feet were in pain because there isn't much cushioning. I prefer my Borns if I'm going to be on my feet a long time.

The retro look is very cool. The only complaint I have is that it does not have as much arch support as it looks like it would. But it is still pretty comfortable.

Comfortable & cute - The shoes are comfortable, cute, lightweight, and a little lacking in the arch-support department.

cute and comfy - These trainers were cute and comfortable. I brought them along on vacation and they did not hurt my feet. They run a bit wide, but I have really narrow feet. I wore them with thicker socks and the felt fine. Overall they are a nice shoe to walk around in.
