These are pretty good shoes overall. They look nice enough for work, almost a little too nice for your average Jeans casual wear but that's up to you. After looking at three different shoes, this was one of the two I kept for style and comfort.

Nice shoes for work. The soles seem to wear quickly though. Very comfortable and good fit.

Good shoe, but the rubber insole fell apart - shredded, very early on in one shoe, now the other. Sole is holding up after a year of wearing every day which is saying a lot for Rockports. Uppers still look great too.

Good basic dress show, slightly smaller fit than I expected but not a problem. Not an upscale feel or look but just a good, basic, inexpensive dress show. Really a 5 star shoe for what it is and just don't expect more. I'd give it a 3 in overall shoes but for the price it rates a 4.

I always wear Rockports because of comfort and style. I opted for these because the style I usually wear has been discontinued. While they have the Rockport features I expect and love, they are not as stylish as I had hoped. Rockport, bring back the Capitol! As always, doing business with Zappos is a pleasure.

Great looking shoe; wish it came in an EEE, the fit would be better. I noted in the survey that it has moderate arch support, and yes it could be better, but it's not bad. The shoe is very light and fairly comfortable.

Very comfortable. Conservative styling with slightly squared off toe. Good for wearing with business wear or office casual. Rubber sole is comfortable, but might seem slightly less formal. Highly recommend.

What a terrific site! Incredibly easy to navigate and easy to make a purchase. The Rockport Margin is a terrific shoe with great comfort...although it is a bit tight on my left foot ankle bones, which is not really a shoe issue as opposed to a foot issue!

Big shoe inside - easily took an orthotic insert and still room for my wide foot. Length and width are right. Rubber sole makes it "warm inside", too, on long walks, but it's otherwise comfortable, just doesn't breathe well.

The shoes fit well. Finding a comfortably wide shoe is a challenge, but these are good.

The shoes were very comfortable, but a little short on looking "dressy." I was more impressed with Zappos' service!

This is my second order for two pair. Rotating the pairs, they last me about 5 years. I buy them as I have wide feet with toes wider than the rest of my feet. Zappos has the best selection I have found and their service is always great. With the exception of one pair of deck shoes I have only purchased shoes from Zappos since I first discovered them in 2004.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I needed to spend some time on the finish, however, but they will take a good shine that lasts. When I wear out the soles, I am hoping to get them resoled and will post an update at that time. Definitely worth the money -- especially for those who are larger than 12.

This is a very comfortable pair of shoes. Also, I can wear them in either a dress or casual setting. Good buy for the money!

Although the rim around the ankle took a few wearings to break in, and were a little stiff until they did, these shoes have been great so far. The fit was spot-on, and the design is standard/classy. They’re sharp enough to wear to work without being ostentatious. The only other thing I would have liked from the manufacturer is a slightly higher grade lace -- nothing major.

Over the last 2 months I have bought roughly 20 pairs of non-leather soled (so I can wear them in the snow) dress shoes from Zappos. Using the pencil trace method, my foot is 10.75 inches long, 4 inches wide, and an 8.25 inch heel to ball. The first set of shoes I ordered were size 11 wide. Some of them were narrower than others, but the bottom line is none of them were wide enough. I thought the best way to correct this was to order size 11 double wide. However, after talking to a local shoe expert he suggested that because the ball of my foot is so far away from my heel, that it would be best to order 11.5 wide. His rationale was that the double wide would be too wide and the leather would bunch up. With that in mind, I ordered another batch of shoes, this time 11.5 wide. Ironically, or maybe not, none of the shoes I ordered before, and liked, were available in 11.5 wide! The second batch of shoes I ordered included: Florsheim: Noble, Cortland, John, and Jamie Rockport: Wadison, Schemerhorn, Margin Clarks: Un.tudor (Unfortunately, the search function in Zappos website does not turn up any results when you search for Un.tudor, Untudor, or tudor). So you have to find these the hard way, but it’s worth it.) Allen Edmonds: Tribeca (Way too narrow.) Of all the shoes in the second batch, the best fitting, in order, were: 1. Clarks Un.Tudor 2. Florsheim John 3. Rockport Wadison 4. Rockport Margin The Rockport Margin fit ok. I ordered 11.5 wide, but in the 11.5 wide box there was a 12! It was certainly wide enough, but it was too long. So I reordered 11.5 wide (in black instead of chocolate) and it was too narrow.

I have purchased several pairs. Only one problem. Love the comfort and is my best choice for a office work shoe. I walk inside and out 1 - 2 miles a day. Problem is that rubber sole rim at the inside tip of the shoe cracks after about 10 months. I have a wide foot. My shoes normally wear in that location, but never crack (price that I pay for extra comfort of the rubber soles).
