A Nice Fit - The Rockport Margin sure fits nice; quite comfortable with a firm grip. Having only had this shoe a couple weeks, I am still waiting to see how it holds up. Being a service technician, I am on my knees a good deal, and living in Alaska, I deal with a variety of weather conditions. The heel of this shoe I believe may need a little to be desired; very little tread and the look and feel of hollow, hard plastic. The sole, a 2 piece construction has good traction, and looks to be of good quality. The appear quite stylish and can only hope they hold their appearance and prove to be durable.

Can't wear woolen socks - Nice, comfortable shoes that can be worn with a suit or with jeans. The fit is on the tight side for me. Crew socks are okay, but not extra-thick woolens.

Good sturdy shoe - I have a short wide foot and the shoe was squarer at the toe than the picture for the regular width shoe. It is also a little narrow for the width (EE). However, it is not too snug. It is comfortable and sturdy. Overall a good shoe.

A great overall shoe, just a little clunky, while you're breaking it in.

Very pleased - The shoe is nothing fancy, but very comfortable and fairly good looking. I was very pleased with the shoe and especially pleased with Zappos service.

Excellent value - For my 14B foot, this is a fine general purpose, casual dress shoe. Doesn't feel custom made — duh — but I can wear it all day. Great traction and shock absorption. Would buy it again.

Great value - This is my first pair of Rockport shoes. They are very comfortable and look fine with a suit or casual slacks. Good look at a great price and extremely comfortable.

Good Solid Everyday Shoe - These Rockport Margin shoes are a good, solid, everyday shoe. I wear them at work at my desk and in the shop and with jeans or slacks after work. They will take a bit of a shine and are very versatile.

Rockport Margin review - Good comfort as with most Rockport shoes. Style a little unexciting, but a good standard shoe.

Narrow foot customer - Good fit. I just have to get used to the square toe look. This is my first pair of Rockport shoes and I am generally pleased.

Squarer than the picture - Decent shoe. But not the most comfortable Rockport I've ever owned. The leather needs Neatsfoot Oil to loosen up, and the toe looks squarer on your foot than you'd think it would from the picture.

Rockport Margin - 7W; very comfortable; non-slippery sole; finish mars a bit easier than would like.

Wide could be wider - Great shoe. However, if you have wide feet like I do, it's often confusing whether to select EE or EEE or EEEE widths. For this shoe, the EE width still fits too snugly. I wish I had selected a wider width. Right now, I'm suffering with some discomfort until they settle in.

Good value for the price - I am fully satisfied with the purchase. The leather is not Rockport's highest grade in texture and surface. The same of the sole. But the shoe is sturdy and very well constructed. In essentials it is first rate. Some trade-off in appearance for the lower price.

PRETTY GOOD! I am used to wearing Ecco shoes, but my previous model was discontinued. I was looking for a less expensive alternative and found it in the Rockport Margin. It is pretty comfortable, though the toe box seems a little narrow. The look is simple and clean, but a little plain. Overall, these are a nice alternative for a little more than half the price of an Ecco.

Good all around shoe - I like the look of the shoe and the feel, it scuffs a little too easy for me, but it should take a shine nice, too. Feels good, I'm on my feet for 10-12 hours a day and still feel good at the end of it. Like the shoe and have no complaints.

Satisfied with this shoe - I actually need a 10E shoe. It doesn't seem like oxfords come in that size-choices are D and EE--it feels like it fits so it is probably a little narrower than published. Feels comfortable, and I plan to buy several pairs for spares. I've used Rockports for 18 years.

Good looking walking shoe - I live in NYC and walk -- A LOT. Love these because they're as or more comfortable to walk in than sneakers, but still look good for work/going out (though no one is going to mistake these for a pair of expensive loafer). Already own 2 pairs and will own another soon.
