I love this shoe! They were recommended to me by a neighbor who is a kindergarten teacher with foot problems and she was right on the mark! I have at least eight pairs of them in different colors and I keep very old pairs around for gardening or dog walking. I just spent 10 days in Portland and Seattle and walked all around both cities several days in a row in a new pair, not even broken in yet, and they were wonderful! I normally wear an 8 or an 8.5 shoe and I wear an 8 (EU 38) in these, I do not feel that they run small. These shoes last for a long time, they are much more stylish than a Birkenstock, but have high comfort level. They can be dressed up or down and the metallic ones are particularly beautiful. I find the metallic and the waxy leather styles to be the most comfortable. I did end up returning the ones I ordered in Nubuck as the floppiness of the Nubuck leather thongs irritated my foot.

Love these shoes. They are super comfortable, fit well, and look great. The best part though is the customer service at Zappos. What an amazing business model. They just kept working with me till I found the perfect sandal. Can't recommend them highly enough. (I'm even saving the box--"Imnotabox" for my grandson to play with when he visits!

Love these shoes, so comfortable. My 2nd pair, I have them in navy too!! I recommend these to everyone. I have to wear good quality shoes with my artificial hip and mephisto's are at the top of the list. Nice arch, good quality, great fit!!

Thrilled with my new Mephisto Helen sandles. Slipped them on and was ready to go. They fit just like my first pair, purchased 3 years ago. So glad the style is still available and still fits exactly the same. Did not realize from the website that the pattern is a bit glittery, but it's fine - I was looking for something to go with light colored summer clothes.

Great sandals. This is my 10th pair in various colors. I have flat wide feet and they give excellent support! Worth the money.

I love these sandals, although after wearing them for a few days, they gave me blisters on the top of my foot under the cross strap. Overall they are extremely comfortable and I would recommend them despite the initial trouble.

Best supportive sandal ever made. This is my 6th pair. I love this particular color, very neutral and i like that the sole is lighter color as most of the styles have a black sole. If you have problems finding a sandal with a lot of support, I would highly recommend this style. I wear a size 11 in US women's sizes and I buy this in a 42.

Love these shoes!!! I have 4+ pairs in different colors. Super comfy. Minimal break in time. Sizing is a little weird. I wear size 71|2. Went to a 38. Can do a 37 but right to edge.

I have 2 pairs ( black patent and the butter soft gold leather)of the Mephisto Helen's. I LOVE them! I have one foot with a fallen arch after a tendon tear that is a half size larger than my other foot. These shoes mold to your feet within hours of wearing. I walk miles in my everyday. They are narrower than Berks which suits me. I usually wear a 91/2 and purchased the 10 which fit perfectly. The leather is soft and comfortable between your toes right out of the box! Plan to order more colors. Thanks Zappo's! You are my go to shoe source, and am loyal customer for life.

I have three of this style and love them, one is soft leather, two are patent or shiny leather. But this one hurts my toes, it may be that the leather is thicker.Tried but can't wear them.

Perfect right out of the box. I often have difficulty finding shoes with enough arch support, but these are a dream. Cute and comfy enough for a pregnant person.

I have been buying these sandals for almost 10 years! These are my 5th pair. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and I get compliments on them all the time. I have a bad back so these are dream for me! And they are good for at least 2 summers if not more. They are sooo much more comfortable than Birkenstocks. They are a must have for summer!

These are my second pair. They are kind to my feet and gentle on my plantar faciatis prone feet. I have narrow feet; I always punch an extra hole in the strap for a more snug fit.

This is the third set of these shoes I've purchased over several years. I wear them all day, every day. They are simply great shoes, well made, excellent footbed with excellent support. Worth every cent.

Zappos is highly recommended; fast service, great price, great product! I didn't even have to break in the Mephisto sandle, very comfortable. Will return when they wear out!

This is the second pair of Mephisto Helen, that I have order. My last pair I purchased about 10years ago and I absolutely love them. I have difficulties with my feet, but not when I wear these.

I really love these shoes. They are so comfortable and had no break in period. Helps with my high arch and offers plenty of support. I would like them in all the colors. Good job Mephisto!

These shoes are comfy and offer great support! They are a little narrow in the toe bed area. However, after a few wears, they are so well-fitting.

Great sandal. Second pair of these and highly recommend. Will continue to buy in other colors.

For me, this ran true to size. On the advice of other reviewers, I ordered two pairs: one in my usual size, and one in the next size up. I'm returning the larger size.
