I've been wearing Mephistoes "Helen" for over a decade now. The cork bed molds to the shape of your foot and makes wearing these sandals all day long a pleasure!

Absolutely love these sandals. A must have staple for summertime. Have been wearing the Helen for more than 20 years. Extremely comfortable and provides excellent arch support. Typically get 3 to 5 years out of each pair before replacing. Older pairs are used for yard work. Solid purchase and your feet will love you.

I have worn Birkenstocks as my go to sandals for years. I really owned nothing else. When I was invited to be in an wedding in Hawaii, I figured I needed a stylish shoe with as much comfort as my Birkenstocks and this shoe was perfect!

Love, love, love this sandal! I have it in many colors and am thrilled with this dressier, more glamorous look. It wears well, and is a great addition to a shoe wardrobe.

Perfect sandal to wear with just about anything. Everyday wear to a trek across Italy, this sandal does not disappoint. Have been wearing Hellens for over 20 years and absolutely love them. Fit is true and durability is outstanding. They are a little spendy, but worth every penny. Love you feet and treat yourself.

Great shoes. I used to wear birkenstocks, but these are much more durable and comfortable.

Years ago I bought my first Helen, particularly for the arch support. I have high arches and am heavier than the average gal. I needed comfort! I have been so happy with these, I have now owned ten pair over the years in various colors. I even have the "worn out messed up" pair in the back of the closet for when I get down and dirty. These shoes provide comfort for hours of walking and that is rare praise for a sandal. I've never been overly excited by the style, although for the style, it is beautifully done and made so well. I think it definitely has it's OWN style. And I slightly giggle. I wish they made something with this fit that was more trendy, but I will NOT give up this sort of comfort for beauty!!! Other brands simply don't compare...I've tried them. Mephisto for Life.

I have 5 pairs of these. This is the 2nd pair in the grey etna.

These are very comfortable shoes, but unfortunately the color on the picture is a bit deceiving, it is more light grey for me than off white. Have to return

I have tendinitis and these are the only shoes I can walk in pain-free.

These are sooo comfortable. I have a wide foot and they fit perfectly.

When I saw the Mephisto Helens both my daughters were wearing, I had to get a pair for myself, and I am so glad I did. They are without a doubt the most comfortable sandals I've ever had.

Wear Mephisto Helen every day so I like a variety of colors. Prefer leather uppers, but I needed a pair of orange. Love the arch support for my high arch. Can add holes to the strap for my narrow feet. Wish the company would keep tangerine and green in the leather colors.

For those of us with major foot problems, Mephisto is the way to go. There is a lot of support, the foot bed is firm but giving. The toe leather is rolled so you don't have any rough surfaces touching your toe. I dinged it one star for style as I find it a little basic in design. Very comfortable sandal!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the incredible arch supports in these shoes - if only Mephisto incorporated the same diligence of creating support in their other shoes. Had purchased a pair last year (or the year before) in metallic blue and dawdled at the orange they had last year until they were no more. So when I seen this patent leather bright orange it was a hit the buy button for me. I have very problematic feet (broken foot remnants), super sensitive to sock seems, etc. These are the best summer shoe for me and I don't have to where a closed shoe to get my custom orthodics, they're already built into the shoe. Now I'm spying the wine colored ones :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE these sandals. Bought a pair ten years ago, wore them heavily every spring summer and fall. They finally wore out, and to my delight I was able to order the exact same ones from zappos. Co.Fortaleza right out of the box.I couldn't be happier.

I bought these to replace a pair of the same design that finally started to look a bit frayed after probably 10 years of wear. Wonderful footbed. For such a simple sandal, it's amazing how often I get compliments on them.

My absolute favorite shoes- I'm on my 3rd pair of the same shoe.... I have about 100 pairs of summer shoes alone yet I wear these every day ! After 3 knee surgeries & a total knee replacement & assorted back aches as a result ---the shoes are comfortable cool & perfect in every way

I love the Mephisto Helen! I have a very narrow foot and I can adjust the side buckle to make the sandal fit my foot well. (I wear a 10N in most shoes - a 40 in the Mephisto Helen.) The width of the sole is narrow enough for my foot too. I can walk miles in the Helen (literally have) without slippage or feeling like my foot will come out of the sandal. I have arthritis so the cushion and arch support are perfect for keeping my hips and knees pain free. And best of all, I love all the colors offered in the Helen! There are other companies who make a "knock off", cheaper version of this sandal, but they just aren't the same as a Mephisto. Yes, these are expensive sandals, but the comfort, fit, and durability of this Mephisto sandal makes it worth it for my finicky feet.

Very comfortable shoe. I believe it runs a bit small I ordered my regular size but had to return and order next size up because my heel hungover the end. I have had 4 foot surgeries and it has been very hard to find shoes that work with my feet. It has great "Cush" and enough of a heel that my back does not hurt.
