Lovely! I ordered a half size bigger than I normally would, but my toes still hang off. I'll have to order another size up and hopefully they will fit!

My first Mephisto sandals. Love the color - fushia. I always wore Birkenstocks and still do but they haven't had fun colrs lately so I bought these. They are comfortable and very pretty. Lots of compliments.

The sandal is so ugly but so comfortable. I took me a while to get use to the look. The strap is adjustable - usually flip flops are too wide and this adjustment is a big plus for me. Last fall we were in France and I saw so many women wearing this exact same sandal - it made me feel better about it's clumsy look. Overall it is a great shoe!

Since I have very small feet (sz 5), they make my feet look like little bricks -- just as wide as long. But, they may look nicer on longer, slender feet.

I've been a long time wearer of Mephisto Helens and this is another wonderful pair. They have great arch support and are all around good walking shoe for summer

I tried the Mephisto brand because I always saw the shoes beautifully displayed at a retail store I used to frequent. I do not have any orthopedic issues. I just love comfortable shoes, especially when I have a lot of errands to run that require a lot of walking. I would describe Mephisto as a high end Birkenstock (due to the price point and style). Mephisto sandals are so comfortable. They feel great and they look nice, too, particularly on people who are casual dressers but still wear nice clothing. They are a mature, sophisticated shoe on even a young woman. Unlike a previous reviewer, I never noticed any problems with the smell of my shoes. Quite the opposite. Fit wise, it is my experience that they pretty much run true-to-size. At best, you may need a half-size larger. (Thankfully, Zappos has no-hastle returns!) If I had to choose Mephisto vs. Birkenstock, I would definitely choose Mephisto, but Birkenstock is also a good option, just not my preference in this instance.

Great shoe! My 5th pair, so something must be working! I have Plantar Fasciitis and flatter than flat arches, so most sandals are out. These are perfect! I even wear them in the house all winter instead of slippers, which lack support.

Shoes are great! They're super comfortable. They are better than the Birkenstocks I have! I want one in every color! The adjustment buckle makes it so you can customize the fit just right.

This is my third pair of the Helen. My first pair I bought 15 years ago and after a decade of very heavy use decided to get another pair. They honestly were still in pretty good shape considering how old they were and how much use the had gotten. I recently purchased another color(the gold) and love them as well. These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I wore these is the winter when I was pregnant because they were so comfortable. I will probably get another color in the next few months as well.

Love Mephisto for the arch support. I have extremely high arches and these fit better than most any other brand. They are also "secure" in that I don't overpronate. they also wear well. I miss my favorite mephisto withthe sparkles on the side...still can't figure out why, will all 5 star reviews they would discontinue. Helen us the next best thing

I love these sandals, but I have to return them, I feel that Mephisto runs on the narrow side. They are beautiful, just not wide enough.

I purchased the Nude Venise color and am quite happy. These sandals are really comfortable and the color looks just like it does in the picture. The metallic rose gold-type color makes it extra stylish and feminine. I do find that, at least the first few times I wore them, the strap that goes across the top of my foot makes me a little sore (no blisters or irritated skin, though). My guess is that the leather will get softer with time and that issue will go away. If it isn't solved with a little break-in, I'll update my review. I had worried about the piece between my toes rubbing when I walk, since that happens to me with flip flops sometimes. However, it hasn't been a problem at all.

Absolutely love these shoes! Very comfortable with great arch support.

I LOVE these shoes! This is my third pair. The first pair is now my slippers; the second pair I'm wearing. I bought a third pair because I'm afraid they'll stop making them and I want to always, always, always have a pair! I'm a narrow and all I have to do for a perfect fit is adjust the strap to the tightest notch. They are super comfortable. I can wear them every day if I want to. They are a little edgy in style. People notice them and compliment me. I can talk walks in them and have awesome support. I can pack just these for a trip to a warm place--nothing more. I wear these daily for most of the year in Santa Cruz, where I live.

I love this shoe-the print pattern is great! I have several pairs of "Helen" style Mephistos and I order a size 9- which is 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear in other shoes. These are well crafted shoes that will last for years-I've already had mine for several years and they are still going strong! I wear these sandals every day in the warmer weather and they never bother my feet-they are my "go to shoes " for comfortably!

Nice style. Very comfortable. Not too hard in the arch area, this causes me problems with some shoes. Excellent service from Zappos.

Super comfortable and cute but too narrow for my wide feet :(

This is a beautifully made sandal and I was counting on it being my daily go to sandals for the summer.I chose my regular 8 M. The length was fine, my heel fit into the cup fine. Everything fit except my small toe hit the hard raised rim of the sandal which is a painful experience. I must check to see the overall dimension of a W. Sadly, these have to go back.

Sooo cute and comfortable, but just not quite wide enough because my little toe sits on the edge of the shoe (which has a slight lift to it). Darn, I wanted these so badly!

These are my absolutely favorite sandals. If I lived in a warmer climate, I would likely toss all of my other shoes! I started wearing these sandals in 2007 and have never looked back. I walk a great deal and have found that they support my feet better than any other shoe or sandal that I own. When I travel, these are the only sandals that I pack. I do recommend that, prior to walking any distance in them, the new owner should break them in so that the strap between the toes becomes softer.

I purchased these in Grey Etna and Black Waxy Leather. The waxy leather requires a bit more breaking in and felt tighter out of the box. I typically wear a size 7.5, 38 in Dansko and 38 in Birkenstock and I found the 38 to fit well, though a tiny bit longer than the other brands. Not enough to size down for me and they feel good while walking. These sandals have more support, a bit more cushion, and are heavier than Birkenstocks.

This is the most beautiful sandal. It feels comfy. It is so hard to find things that fit. I wear orthotics and ususally can't find sandals that are as comfortable as these. I got the Silver Narobe.

Bought my first pair of Mephisto Helen and go to say I am totally hooked! So comfortable, I placed my order for a second pair. Love them. Well worth the money spent!!

I have been wearing these for years. They are the only sandals that I can wear with my plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist recommends them. I have always worn a 37 but ordered a 38 this time and they are great. I realized that I needed a little more room in the toe area. If you have problem feet these are the shoes for you. They are durable and will last and last.
