New Balance MX 609, Very Functional Shoe - I was looking for a shoe to use for a combination of general ware, walking and jogging. I did not want to have separate shoes for jogging particularly. Jogging shoes, to me, are not comfortable for general wear and walking with the excessively wedged toe area for jogging. The NB MX 609 are very comfortable and do not have that wedge feel in the front toe area. They look nice for wearing with jeans or shorts. They fit well and do not ride off of my heel. They have good support laterally and good cushion for jogging. I am very happy with them and will definitely buy more of the same shoe in the future as needed. Great Shoes - I am a UPS driver and these are the ONLY shoes I buy. They are so comfortable straight out of the box. I am on my feet 10 hours a day and I have no problems whatsoever. I have owned probably 8 pairs of these and the usually last me 10 months before I wear out the sole, then I get a fresh pair and start over again.

Nice shoe - I have very wide feet with a pinched nerve to boot, these shoes fit and feel good. That's rare for me to find shoes that fit without pain.

New Balance MX 609 - Nice fitting and good looking athletic shoe. I have trouble finding wide enough shoes sometimes, but have found that the New Balance brand usually fits just fine. Super nice experience shopping at Zappos.com!

New Balance M609 - I like the looks and comfort of these sneakers, although I have not worn them yet for an extended period. It is very hard for me to get the right size for short, very wide feet. Zappos is the answer to this lifelong dilemma.

Perennial Favorite - I have been wearing this style for years, I see no reason to look farther!

Great shoes - My husband has been wearing basically this same style New Balance shoe for a couple of years now and these were just as great as the previous ones he has owned.

New Balance MX 609 white/silver - A review written by a prior purchaser commented this shoe is narrower than marked so I purchased the next larger width and my son says the shoe is a perfect fit. He likes its looks and comfort.

Comfort - My husband has had these shoes before, so this is his 2nd pair. I guess that says it all. The first pair was also ordered form Zappos.

Lady in orthotics - I just recently had to buy orthotics, and most stores don't carry women's shoes wide enough for you to try on in the store that accommodate orthotics. I found my size and width elsewhere for much higher, but was able to order the 609s in black for much less here! It is also nice to see that I can order them in other colors! I really like this site. Support not there - I need a shoe that will support and comfort for a least 8-10 hours a day at work. I have purchased this shoe and am looking for something better. The shoe does not feel right, something is definitely missing.

USPS Letter Carrier wears MX 609 to work - Straight out of the box this shoe felt good. After a few days wearing the MX609 a few hours a day around the house I was sure that there would be no problem wearing this shoe all day on the job where I'm on my feet pretty much steadily all day. I am not disappointed with the support, comfort, and overall quality of the New Balance MX609. In fact, I think I'm gonna order another pair.

New Balance MX 609 - I purchased these shoes for my 16 year old son to wear at his job. He walks almost 2 miles to work and then works 6 to 9 hours on his feet on a concrete floor. Needless to say, comfort is a big issue! (I might also add my son has extremely flat feet, not even a tiny arch in his foot). My son has been very pleased with these shoes. He would never wear this style of shoe to school or any other public outing, but for work he is more than pleased with the fit and comfort. This shoe turned out to be a great choice for us.

A good fitting shoe - I have trouble finding shoes that are narrow enough. There shoes fit the bill perfectly.

My feet thank you - I love these shoes. The wide widths available and extreme comfort have made me a New Balance fan. I will purchase New Balance again.

PROFESSIONAL GOLF INSTRUCTOR - I wear these shoes to conduct all my private golf lessons. They're comfortable, durable, stylish and professional on the lesson tee.

New Balance Runs NARROW! I ordered the 4EEEE width in these shoes and it was way too narrow for my feet. Although 4E fits me in Nike. In my experience, New Balance always runs narrow.

Very Comfortable Shoe. These shoes are very comfortable. They've got excellent arch support and are very well made. The price is quite exceptional, as well. The styling isn't really over-exaggerated, like the Nike space shoes, either. The quality is high for a running shoe.

NEW BALANCE IS DA-BOMB! To be honest, I just purchased these 609s for work at a well-known shoe retailer. Still, I want to let you know what I thought about these sneakers. When I first put them on and went on to work, at the end of the day I felt I could go on for another two hours. I love the design. -Looks better than last year's 608's and is more comfortable. My boss said we could wear tennis shoes to work, as long as they're either black or white and clean. So I got the 609's in all white. -I love them. Keep up the good work New Balance!

The 609'S offer great comfort and great fit. The only shoe I wear for tennis.

NB MX609 - After reading the reviews of this particular shoe, I ordered a pair in a half-size larger than I needed. It turned out fitting perfectly. I really like the color scheme and fit of the MX609. It is extremely comfortable. My only complaint would be that it wasn't available in the width I needed. Nevertheless, I ordered it and am now enjoying my MX609s!
