Didn't buy these at Zappo. Have bought shoes from here before but these shoes were only $49.99 at Famous Footwear and had I been there earlier in the week it was buy one get one 1/2 off. Did have to add tax to that though. Good shoe. Have never had anything else with New Balance. Get tired of their ever changing numbers but I can live with that.

Great sneakers a lot behind the name - Besides Zappos knows its business and it is without a doubt the best online store for shoes. The only con with these sneakers is the width measurement that new balance uses for its shoes, you would have to go 1/2 size wider than what you are used to.

I was very fortunate to find this shoe in a narrow width on Zappos.com because I have a narrow foot and New Balance does make athletic shoes for men in a narrow width. I was impressed with the speedy delivery too. I received the shoes in two days from the time I ordered them. Zappos.com is THE place for anyone who has trouble finding shoes in a men's narrow width.

You Rock! We happened upon Zappos just searching the internet for a special shoe and a special size. I was actually looking for this shoe for my 75-year-old father. He could not find it anywhere and they live in far west Texas in a very small town so their resources were limited. The shoe not only was available, there was a special no shipping offer. We ordered the shoe immediately. The next morning, I received an email informing me that there was even another special - free overnight shipping. I had ordered this pair of shoes VERY late on a Friday night. By 3:00p.m. on Monday, the exact shoe, exact size was at my dad's house. AND, they had saved $13 from the last time they were able to find these shoes. We are customers for life!

New Balnce MX 609 - Good looking and comfortable. No skid marks!

Too good..I was amazed!!! I bought a pair of New Balance 609 from them. It was in my house the next day i ordred and in perfect condition.I love this shoe and love zappos.com for doing such a wonderful transaction.I would definitely shop here again.

Most dependable shoe I've ever had - I'm a Mail carrier and I walk several miles a day. Since I've discovered this shoe I've never worn another. I buy them in bulk and I could not be more pleased with the comfort, stability, and durability of this shoe. You can't go wrong with the 609!

MX 609 - These have to be one of the best all around shoes I have ever owned

Good shoe - I got these shoes in my narrow width there in November 2002 and wore the heck out of them for over a year. It’s not much to look at, but it’s easily the best looking shoe in the NB 600 cross-training series and it’s comfortable with a capital C. I had a pair of 606’s and 608’s before, and they don’t compare.

A bit overpriced - Have owned three par of these shoes in the past. Bought my latest from Zappos. Service and delivery were great. A very comfortable shoe though.

New Balance MX 609 - My husband likes to buy this shoe because he can depend on its comfort and durability. We cannot find it in the stores because they never have his size or style. I can count on Zappos to have what I am looking for at an affordable price, plus no shipping or tax! Thank you!

Great shoe/Fair Price - Have owned a pair of these in the past. They wore out so I bought another pair. Great service as far as delivery of item. Ordered them July 4th weekend and they were on my porch Tuesday morning.

Great shoes - I wear an 11 2E New Balance sneaker. For whatever reason I have had a difficult time finding New Balance in that size. I saw the Mens MX 609 in the 2E width and decided to give it a try. I ordered a 9 1/2 2E and lo and behold it fits. The shoe is comfortable and it looks good. Guess I'll check the Mens shoes out the next time I need a new pair.

Aerobics Instructor - New Balance 609's are the de facto standard for aerobics instructors. They provide excellent cushioning, good arch support and excellent protection against side roll (even for the medium height shoe). I replace them about every 6-8 months. Zappo's is the one place where I can be certain to find this men's cross-trainer in narrow width.

MX609 - Very pleased except for length, would appear to be half size smaller than marked.

Awsome shoes! High performing sneakers with great looks. Not only do they have those two characteristics, but they are also a great value since they are crosstrainers and you can use them for so many activities. The cushioning is wonderful if not perfect; the upper is great because it is full grain leather (--sorry vegans--), which not too many sneakers sport these days; and, the styling is great for any occasin. I wear these to work (casual), and they have saved my feet from cramps, blisters, and etc. Also, I walk and play sports in them whenever I am too lazy to change into my other shoes after work. I highly recommend these! The only downfall is that they do not feel, exactly, true to width...but oh well...they are still wicked shoes! A+

Pleased Barber - I ordered these for my husband who is a Barber. He had a pair just like them for two years and had worn them out. Being on your feet all day you need comfort--he says these are very comfortable. Couldn't find this style at our local shoe store so ordered from Zappos. I love Zappos! They deliver lightning fast and have great selections!!!

New Balance MX609 White Sneaker - This sneaker is extremely comfortable and true to size. It gives you very good foot support. I would recommend this sneaker for everyone especially for those who are working out in a fitness center.

Nursing School - Had to buy white shoes for school, on my feet in the hospital. Felt tight for a day or so but broke in fast, now they are perfect. Stable, supportive, day long comfort--all in these shoes. Zappos in awesome too--Ive ordered 3 pairs of shoes, all came incredibly fast, great value, Ive always been happy.

Sizes a little small but extremely comfortable. I have worn NB shoes for many years and have always found them to be extremely comfortable, although the heel tends to come up a bit and as a result wears out sooner than desired.

Great Marching Band Shoes - I have huge feet--size 16 with a 4E width. The shoes are comfortable to march in when I am in parades.

I love this shoe - I've worn a lot of different athletic shoes, but I keep going back to NB. These shoes feel great, breath well, and look fantastic. My local store don't always have my size in stock, but thanks to Zappos, I don't have to worry about that anymore :)

I have had this style before and love the fit and support. Because these shoes are all leather they are hot in the summer but great the rest of the year. They hold up very well.

My new, New Balance sneaks - These sneakers feel like I am walking on clouds. Literally, never have I put on a sneaker and proclaimed, "by god these sneakers were made for me alone" for I'm sure no other foot feels like mine does! Buy these! You will not regret it!
