I Received a pair of damaged already well used shoes. Somebody might have returned them before and Zappos did not take care to check what they have received and then they did not take care to check what they were shipping. I am amazed of the way they operate this world class company

While this appears to be a decent shoe for daily wear, my pair has failed within 5 weeks. The left heel is detaching from the shoe. I've had these shoes since the middle of February, but haven't worn them in the snow, so I'd say of the 5 weeks I've had them, I've probably worn them 20 times. Terrible.

I am disappointed with the endurance of this shoe. The fit is good and it is very comfortable. However, the sole split on the bottom. I didn't realize it until I wore them on a rainy day and my left foot was wet. There is a still a lot of depth on the sole and heel, but I can't wear them any more. I won't buy Docker shoes again.

I bought these last year to wear to church. They are not that comfortable and VERY HEAVY. I fell like I have weights on my feet. I stopped wearing them. I bought another type of shoe today with soles that are light weight.

Style was ok. Most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned.

While they are comfortable, they are complete garbage! Do not buy. I do a fair amount of walking at work for work and the sole cracked and these shoes are now garbage. Did not last 6 months of wear. Fail. Cheap cheap cheap. You get what you pay for.

Purchased for an 8-Night cruise in April. I wore the shoes for about 4 hours, on different flooring types throughout my home. They were just awful to walk in and I was very happy to take them off. From the tongue to the toe cap, I've never felt shoes so unbelievably painful. I would never recommend these shoes to anyone.

Bought these in Sept. 2013. The first three weeks they were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I ever bought, the cap toe was too stiff and absolutely killed my foot when walking. After a few weeks of break-in, they were great... for about 6 months. Extremely comfortable, but the soles wear quickly. Within a year, the soles on both shoes are split the entire way across the balls of my feet and halfway up to the toe. Go ahead and buy them, they are great shoes for about 6 months. But be prepared to replace them within a year.

I loved these shoes for the first 3 months, but the sole wore thru before the fourth month was over. I wore them 3 days a week, approx. 6 hours a day at work. I usually expect my work shoes to last a year, so I am very disappointed that I need to replace these so soon.

This review is a semi long term assessment. I have owned and worn these shoes for only 1½ years, and I am disappointed in the durability. One day about two months ago I was walking in the rain on a sidewalk, and I noticed that my socks and the soles of my feet started feeling wet. Upon later inspection, the outsoles on both shoes had cracked across the foot in the area between the ball of the foot and the arch, and was letting water enter the shoe's insole. Cheap construction overall. Additionally, I ordered the 2E width, and found it narrower than a 2E should be. I went ahead and wore the shoes, but always felt less than comfortable due to the narrow forefoot. I guess you get what you pay for...

My size doesn't fit, though I own a similar pair under a different brand. Now I have to find a shoe store that will stretch them.

Caution: buy only with great care. This runs quite a bit smaller than my Rockports, also less flexible, bit less comfortable. For short use these were fine. Then had to walk around Manhattan a bit. Came back with sore and bloody toes. I should have taken the shoes off and walked in socks or bought other shoes at the first store to which I came. It seems a well built shoe, but would not buy online and would plan on a significant break in period. The arch support/insole is non-existent but that is the case for many others also. Plan on buying new insoles, arch supports to your like. Would also bring with you to try on with the shoe. Size 11 waiting for someone at the local goodwill store. If you have 9 1/2 or 10 feet, time to break in and your own arch supports, might be good for you.

Things are not always as they appear - I purchased these shoes three months ago and was very happy with them until about a month ago. They fit great, they looked great, but the heel started to make a squishing sound when I walked. On closer inspection I saw that the rubber on the sole, which was very soft, had broken and cracked in the tread of the heel. I contacted Zappos' Customer Service and I am in the process of returning these shoes. As always, their Customer Service is top notch. Unfortunately, they are sold out of the Antiqued Cordovan, so I will probably get another brand.

This shoe appeared to be a near duplicate of a Dockers model which was super comfortable. However, I overlooked the description of a “padded collar” which actually takes about 2 sizes off of the length of the shoe. The collar would more accurately be called a garrote and will have you sitting shoeless with blisters within two hours.
