I've ordered three pairs of this same shoe since 2012. I was impressed by the sharp look for low price. The first pair lasted from June 2012 to November 2013. The second pair from November 2013 to July 2014. The third pair from June 2014 to October 2014. I weigh 242 pounds and walk about between 2 and 5 miles a day 5 days a week. Most of the walking is on sidewalks. I walk in all temperatures from 15F to 107F. I was very happy fir the first pair. They look good and are comfortable (after a bit of wearing). I wear them in court, albeit I'm not fancy for an attorney. I won't buy these again. They no longer meet my durability expectations. The problem is the heel giving out. It is hollow. I did manage to grind my way through the sole too -- in a mere 6 months!

I like these a lot, except after owning several pairs, the heel starts making a squishing sound with every step and the sole starts to separate. Otherwise the rest of the shoe holds up. If not for those issues, I'd continue buying them, but after several pairs with the same problems, I won't buy any more Dockers shoes. The price is good, but after these I think perhaps I need to spend a little more to get better quality that will last more than a few months.

I like the style a lot and the price is great. But I've owned three pairs and all fell apart at the same place, the sole separates from the shoe at the heel while the rest of the shoe is still in good shape. If not for that issue, I'd always own a pair in black and brown but after the same recurring problem. I won't be buying any more Dockers shoes.

Purchased a pair of the black shoes, uppers are appear to be a nice quality leather, the sole and heal however are rubber. Poor quality and weak. If are a city walker and need these shoes to last walking from building to building don't buy them. I have a pair and they didn't even last 6 months before the heal ripped and developed a large hole.

I ordered a size 14.5 for my boyfriend but at first ordered a 15 (his usual size) and those were tad big. After the others arrived he tried them out at work and developed a bruise on his foot and said it was very painful to walk on anything other than carpet. Hes on his feet constantly at work and I don't think these shoes are really meant for that. We gave them a fair trial run however these are probably more of a special occasion shoe, where they wont be worn for long periods of time. The Customer Service was excellent (First time ordering from Zappos). However, be aware that typically only do 1 exchange on a single item and don't accept shoes back that have been worn.

Bought a pair of these a while back in 14W and they were a little snug but stretched out a little to end up being OK. Recently bought another pair in the exact same size. They are terrible on width and comfort. They will go tot he area Shelter/Jobs for Life program.

I had the same pair in black that I purchased at DSW about 4 years ago. I wear them once or twice a week, and they held up beautifully - comfortable, durable, and good-looking for inexpensive shoes. This pair is absolutely not the same as the black Dockers pair I purchased at DSW. The leather is so tough it feels like hard plastic. The sole is completely flat, with almost no cushioning. After 2 weeks trying to break them in, the fit has not improved.

These shoes look nice but definitely run smaller than marked. I purchased the same size I've worn for 30+ years - they are narrow, stiff and on the right foot it cuts in on top of my foot below the ankle bone. They hurt every time/ all the time I wear them. Not recommended.

I was very excited to order these shoes since I have a pair that I received as a gift a few years ago and love them. Upon wearing them it seems Dockers is beginning to cut back on quality. The material seems to be of less quality than the originals and my right shoe is not wearing in comfortably at all. It's actually hurting to walk at times by where the shoe bends on top of my foot. I wanted to be able to leave a 5 star review for these but unfortunately can not.

I have ordered this shoe twice recently, once from Zappos and once from Amazon, and both times ordering a cordovan color I received tan shoes in boxes labeled as cordovan. They have a quality problem they haven't resolved.

The material even though looks soft they are in reality very hard. The tongue is very short and damages your instep. It gives you a hard plastic feeling

Sent me the wrong shoes, I sent two co workers the link and they received the right ones. Didn’t realized and showed up to police academy today with the wrong shoes. Not what was pictured. They have already been worn but I would like to see if somthing could be done to fix the issue. Either a refund or if you could sent the correct shoe please. Thanks

These are just about the least comfortable shoes I have ever worn. If you have to do any sort of moderate walking, I'd really go with something else. They look nice, but the way they are constructed makes them hard to walk in. The way the toe of the shoe is sewn on creates a pinch point that flexes down hard onto the persons toes. The heel cup is slightly misshapen; I'm not quite sure how anyone with average feet could come away without blisters after a short walk. I got the size 13 EE, The length was there the width felt narrower than what EE implies. I was really expecting more from Dockers for a normally $80 shoe (I got mine on sale for $50 but none the less).

Shoes came with bend in leather due to no inside shoe support (cardboard or paper shoe tree). Called customer service and ask if could please make sure some kind of inside support to prevent this from happening again and said they can not help with this. Gave a second try and came with bends in leather again. Had to return. Does not look like new shoes.

These were the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn in years. The leather was so stiff just below the laces that the crease pinched the top of my foot with every step. I had hoped it would go away after a few steps; it didn't. I tried walking around the house for a few minutes; it didn't go away. I decided I'd give the shoes a try the whole day at work. They didn't get better, and both feet had a visible bruise line across the top where the shoes were pinching due to the stiff leather. I returned them. Never again. (My other Dockers shoes, in a different style with softer leather, are great.)

Maybe the least comfortable shoe I have owned in 20 years. Stiff, with seams that rubbed blisters.

Honestly, a nice looking shoe for semi-casual work environment. However, I found them SUPER uncomfortable. The sides around your ankle felt like the edge of box. Rest of the shoe was just as bad. Kept thinking the shoe was fashioned from two rigid, plastic milk jugs and then they slapped some soles on them. Unless you're planning to wear thick wool socks for blister protection these nice looking shoes aren't worth it.

Purchased these shoes for my husband to wear to work, which he has done 2 to 3 days per week since November 2016. He works at a desk that doesn't require a lot of activity. Fast forward to mid September 2017. The leather is still in great shape, but the sole has completely deteriorated. It started making a hissing noise with each step he took, then the heel began to crack and separate from the shoe. Rating the shoe a one star due to a lack of durability. We selected this shoe to replace a very similar Dockers pair that lasted for years... dating to the early 2000's.

I really loved these shoes when I first got them - stylish, comfortable, good support, true to size, etc. Then after a few months, one of the heels just blew out!The entire rear of the heel became separated from the sole and the heel collapsed. THis was with the cordovan color shoe. Had a similar problem with the black shoe of the same style. The heel completely failed - not in the same place but it failed as well and made the shoe unwearable. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
