I'm overall happy with these sandals. I wanted a comfortable pair to walk around in on vacations that still looks nice and aren't too bulky in my suitcase. These fit the bill, and they seem to have a fair amount of foot support. Unfortunately they've given me terrible blisters on the balls of my feet--something I don't usually get with other shoes or sandals. I'm hoping as they get more broken in, this will stop happening! The materials seem pretty good and the plastic between the toes doesn't bother me much. I usually wear a 10.5, so sizing can be tricky for me (sometimes 10s fit, sometimes 11s). The 41 fits me perfect.

Somewhat uncomfortable and stiff at first, but I find I'm getting used to it. Like the looks a lot!

I love these shoes. This is the second pair ove owned. However- they had stiff arch support, so it takes getting used to. They might be uncomfortable for the first few wears. If you have arches, it will go away after day two or three. If you have VERY little or no arch, these are probably not going to be good for you. Keep that in mind. Also, they run a bit big. I'm a size 6.5-7. I order a 6 Rac time(SS 36), and they are big, but a 5 would be too small. They only make whole sizes.

Love the look of these sandals. The thong DID bother me when I first tried them on but the look won me over so I thought I would just deal with it. A day or so later, the thong did not bother me. However, then I went on a medium length stroll along a river path, and the thong was REALLY painful. These sandals are an easy summer shoe if you are not going to be doing a lot of walking.

Very cute shoe but the toe area was too hard for me. Unfortunately I am returning these shoes.

I love these shoes! I buy Birkenstocks because I have plantar fasciitis and there give me the support I need. As a vegan, I was so happy that Birkenstock offers Birko-flor, but so disappointed that the shoes still have a leather footbed. Please Birkenstock, offer consumers an option that is truly cruelty-free and environmentally responsible - leather is not acceptable. I wear a US women's 7.5-8, but a size 35 in these shoes.

Took some time, but finally broke them in the thong part hurt in between my toe. Overall, the arch support is great. Which is something that is hard to find in other sandals.

This is my first pair of Birks. That said I've always been reluctant to buy them because when I try them in the store they're not all that comfortable. After wearing them several times now, they're getting better. I'm still not convinced they will be the most comfortable shoes I'll ever own, but we are at least headed in the right direction. The color is adorable and the shiny white will likely ward off smudges/stains. I love the thong part. I feel like it grips my foot in a good way. If you're already a fan of Birks, these are great shoes! Of course, Zappos is the best to buy from! Who can beat next day delivery?!

These are pretty much as I expected. they are my first pair of Birkenstocks and the high level of quality is obvious. I had bought a pair of Dr. Scholl "look a likes" previously and they were no comparison to these lovely sandals. That said, the ridge under the toes is very hard and was painful after my first day of wearing. I think I'm getting used to them and will definitely keep them but hoping that will improve. My boyfriend said we could sand it down a bit if I didn't get used to it! It seems the Birkenstock footbed is more "shaped" than some of the others I have worn (Naot, Donald Pliner).

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks after feeling the need to expand beyond Fitflops as my go-to comfy summer flop. I wanted great arch support - got it. I wanted a comfy sandal - getting there.. And lastly, I wanted a fairly stylish shoe - the black shiny patent leather works. The footbed provides great arch support for those with high arches but the bed is NOT soft. It's taken me a couple of weeks to get the foot "molding" thing going and they are getting more comfortable. Also, these really fit to your feet so there is no "flip flop" noise and your feet feel very supported and protected while on long walks. Will try another pair at some point.

I was so excited to get these. I wore Birks all through the 90's and loved them. I gave them five stars for cuteness but the comfort was not there. I wear an 8½ so I ordered a 38 and they were too small. My toes banged up against the ridge on the end of the shoes. I tried a size 39 and the same thing happened. Sadly, I sent them back.

Very cute. Very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe tab covers my short toes and looks very odd, so back they go. Looked very nice on the model

Cute shoes but I'm waiting for my really flat feet to break these in! I've worn them for short amounts of time but my arches are still really sore! Plenty of reviews said to be patient...I'm trying! Hope this helps!

I typically wear a 9-9½ and I had to order one size up. They look cute, but the plastic in between the toes piece hurts!

I'm grateful for these sandals, which actually offer my feet support and don't look near as orthopedic as other foot-friendly models.

Cute shoes, uncomfortable at first but beginning to feel better. Be sure to have time to break shoes in. I have a three in comfort because I prefer a comfortable shoe when I first buy them. I don't like to break in shoes.

Beautiful shoe but the thong between the toes on one shoe was very uncomfortable so I am sending them back. I will try a different style.

I love Birkenstocks. I've been wearing them forever, I have one pair that are 17 years old this year. Last year I got a pair of Gizeh's, after thinking about it for some time. I got the Birko-flor, in Stone. I love the color, but I'm not sure that the fabric will make it as long as my leather ones. The underside (which initially was felt-like) is now pilling and fuzzy around the edges. When I ordered, I thought that Birko-flor was a proprietary leather treatment - I only recently learned Birko-flor is all synthetic. I won't buy Birko-flor again.

Not bad, cute style. People with flat feet/no arch may find their not as comfortable.

I have fallen arches, and planters fasciitis. I needed a better summer show than flimsy flip-flops! If you have any issues with your feet, these will give you great support. And they look awesome, too. I normally wear a size 40 in all other birks, however, I went to a 39. They fit perfect. There will be some getting used to the toe thong. Mainly because they don't move like a traditional flip flop or sandal. Just hang in there and break them in. Totally worth it! I want a pair in every color!

Been looking all summer for a pair of navy blue sandals. Why there aren't more choices, I don't know. Thanks to Zappos great return policy, I was able to try several pair before finally deciding on these. Not the most fashionable (what Birkenstocks are?) but by far the most comfy. And, a great shade of blue with a little shimmer to it. Like that the strap is adjustable.

Whereas other Birkenstocks that I have worn have had very wide forefoot areas, these were too narrow for my feet. I do have bunions and had hoped that they would be comfortable.

I have plantar faciitis, which is why I bought these sandals. They feel like they have a golf ball in the instep, but, maybe that's because I'm not used to them yet. I will continue to wear them because I need a sandal.

I liked these as they are a bit more feminine. IF you are an avid flip flop wearer- you will be fine. I am not, and found the plastic piece for between your toes so painful it nearly brought me to tears. They had to go back! Luckily, Zappos is great to deal with.
