Sometimes the toe part is uncomfortable and the leather gets stuck down between my toes (it should be on top.) there are also times they feel heavy to walk in.

The strap is wide. I was going to return them, since the narrow has a tighter strap according to customer service. But I started wearing them and cannot take them off. The are so comfortable. I also have planters fascitis and they help a great deal.

Very pretty sandal - I bought them in silver - and they really did fit my AA narrow feet. My daughter who wears a medium with and my granddaughter with her long, narrow feet love their Birkenstocks so I thought I'd try them. But they hurt my right foot as I wore them on the carpet in my home, so I had to send them back. Am sorry they didn't fit. Give them a try; reasonably priced shoes for narrow widths are hard to find and they may work for you.

Seems a bit big but the narrows were way too narrow which is what I normally wear. Kept them though because I’ll make them work since they’re so cute!

I loved these sandals, but they were way too large.

The sandals are very cute and feel very comfortable sandals. However I have to return them because I have wide feet even I ordered the regular size. Looks good only if you have narrow feet.

These are very comfortable for my problem feet which are on the wider side. I normally wear a size 6.5-7 and am consistently a European size 37. I purchased these in 37 and they fit perfectly. However, one major con which prevents me from wearing this shoe is that dirt and pebbles constantly get into my sandals -- an issue I don't have with my other shoes, even flip flops. (And this is from normal walking on suburban sidewalks.) Unfortunately, because of this, I rarely wear these Birkenstocks though they are comfortable.

Cute, fit true to size. Bronze is a nice all around color.

They're stylish. I have the blue. I never got them to break in properly, though! I ended up with blisters between my toes from the throng. I just wear them for shorter periods. They're versatile, and look cute for summer parties, beach etc. They also get that dark toe print look that makes the soles look older than they are and makes them look a bit grubby, in my opinion. Overall, they're nice, though.

Typical Birkenstock sandal I have 2 other pairs of. These fit a little differently - I think it's the 'thong' between the toes; seems to be a bit less comfortable than other pairs I have. Also seems to correlate with the matte, oiled leather. I compared it to my other, size 39 Gizehs and the footbed is slightly wider in these so my foot moves around a bit more. With greater foot movement, there is more discomfort in the case of Birkenstock sandals. Still, the matte black look is worth it and I wore them OFTEN trapsing about Europe this summer without regret.

Love this shoe style but not the patent leather. Returned in favor of more natural leather look.

Very nice sandal but size guide was wrong. I wear a 6.5 which is supposed to be a European 37 but it was way too big. This shoe would better fit a size 7-8. Sending back for smaller size.

The fit wasn't quite as I'd hoped it would be. I know that the shoe is supposed to mold with your foot after awhile, but I chose to return them and instead shop for other similar brands instead. They are cute though!!

As much as I love the look of these sandals...and Birkenstocks in general...the plastic toe thong is nearly impossible to get used to. I had my daughter wear them with the same reaction. Unfortunately I had worn them several times and couldn't return them. Not sure why plastic and not something more comfortable between the toe!

runs slightly big. also there is a lot of room in the shoe, so if you have slim feet, it might be way too big and feel loose.

I love the look of the shoe. Even being an avid flip-flop girl, the toe piece felt very weird. I felt like my toes were popping over the flap. Being a teacher, I love the support that they offer while also being stylish and comfortable!

These are really cute! They go with everything! But there is a break in period. I had 5 times I wore them that they were uncomfortable. But the more I wear them the better they get.

I ordered a pair larger than usual as Zappos didn't stock the wide shoe--and it was way too long. So I ordered my regular size in the medium width and low-and-behold, after three days of breaking the shoe in, it fits beautifully. I love the style of the shoe and am so happy it now fits. Great shoe! Zappos. where are the wide shoes?!

I like these sandals a lot. Only thing is they run very big. I'm usually a size 9 and a half and these run much more like a 10. The only thing I dislike is the toe piece rubs on my big toe and rubs my nail polish off as I walk.

Cute shoe. Comfy foot bed, as always. However, the hard, plastic thong between the toes was very uncomfortable, even painful.

I'm still breaking these in-they are not comfortable out of the box for me, due to the arch that is higher than my arch-I have very flat feet. The more I wear them, the more comfortable they get though and I'm sure they will be my go to over the summer.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but it's just not comfortable on my foot. It seems more narrow than one I tried on at the store. I purchased it on line because of the color (onyx), which I thought was blue, but is actually metallic. It's a beautiful steel color, but wanted to note it in case anyone else didn't realize that it would be.
