The shoes are great. I bought them as house slippers but I wear them outside now because I don't want to take them off. The insert is sheep fur also. It seems too thick for a few days but then tamps down. Highly recommend these as house shoes and more.

I ordered these for my husband as he has difficulty finding a shoe that is wide and fits him comfortably. His old houseshoes were wore out so I purchased these for him. He put them on and they were so comfortable. No breakin time. He loves them and we will purchase them again. He said they are the most comfortable house shoe he has ever owned.

These are great! Since I have trouble with my feet it's hard to find shoes or causal slippers that don't hurt. Thanks!

Best slippers ever!!! I had been looking for a new pair of slippers because my old Acorns were loosing their shape. I never really liked them as they offered no arch support whatsoever, and the leather soles were not good for the occasional trip outside in the garage or to let the dog out. My brother-in-law visited a few weeks ago and let me try his size 12 (two sizes too big) Old Friend Loafers and I was instantly hooked. I bought two pairs! Super comfortable with the removable gel insole covered in plush fleece, awesome support (no more sore feet) and a great sturdy, anti-slip rubber outsole. They also have an adjustable lace to tighten or loosen depending on your preference. One note....I usually wear size 9 and ordered these in size 10. They are snug with a medium weight athletic sock on. I would definitely buy 1 size larger than what you normally do especially if you are going to wear a sock with this slipper. When these puppies wear out, I'll be right back to Zappos ordering a new pair

Just purchased my husband his second pair...He loves them! They are great for running outside in the winter without pulling your shoes on.

This is my third pair of Old Friend Mocs in about 6 years. They are the most comfortable lounge-around-the-house shoes I’ve owned and they wear quite well for the money. I will continue to buy these mocs through Zappos until somebody can show me a better loafer or a better price with the same quality of customer service.

I bought these moccasins because I have very cold feet due to diabetic neuropathy. I wear big sheepskin slippers in the house, but they’re not appropriate for being out in public. The Old Friends sheepskin-lined moccasins are great – they’re more fashionable than my slippers, but keep my feet warm and toasty. At first I couldn’t wear socks with them because they were too tight, but after wearing them for a week or two, I can wear my socks as well. I purchased a very wide pair of the Old Friends along with two other brands of sheepskin-lined moccasins and the Old Friends were the only pair that were truly wider. My only negative comment is that I wish they came in a darker color as well as the chestnut.

Excellent quality and comfort. I love putting them on each evening when I get home. Sometimes they are so comfortable, I forget I have them on when I begin to walk outside. Highly recommended. Unlike most slippers, there is arch support. They really keep your feet warm and cozy.

I bought these for my fiance - he loves them. He is not a slipper type of person, but he was complaining that his feet were cold so I bought these and they did the trick. Very nice and cozy.

These slippers were well worth the money. They are comfortable, well made, extremely warm and luxurious. I would definitely buy a second pair. I bought these to keep my feet warm instead of buying a rug for my floor.

Old Friend Loafers are the best and worth the price. Very durable and warm for both indoor/outdoor. The soft sole moccasin is great for indoor only use. Great gift idea for others and self. Does not come in half sizes so ordered half size smaller and fit very comfortably. They have moderate arch support also.

I ordered these in a 13W for my husband for Christmas. He loves them! They are extremely comfortable on his wide foot and they even have arch supports inside. The thing I think he likes the most about these, however, is the ties. He can actually use the ties to cinch the slipper tight on his foot so he's not walking out of them. Many slippers have decorative laces; how nice that these are useful! Outstanding slipper.

I bought these shoes for my husband, and he loved them. Soft, warm and comfortable. Can go outside in them, but in my opinion, they look too much like slippers to wear them outside, except for a casual grocery store run and such.

I bought a pair for my husband and one for my son for Christmas. They both loved them. They liked the arch support, which was better than most slippers and they liked the cozy lining. The fact that they can wear them inside and out is great.

I have bought old friend slippers for myself for years. This Christmas I decided to buy these for my husband. He loved them fit well, do to that they come in wide width. He also likes to be able to walk outside in them since they have a nice sole, and they keep his feet nice and cozy in these chilly winter months. I highly recommend these. Zappos rocks as usual.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas & he loves them. I have had a pair of Old Friend slippers for several years & I just dearly love them. He had another pair of slippers that were fur lined & said they were good, but these are probably 10 times better than the older ones. They have a very good cushioned innersole & you can actually wash them (inner soles), which is very important for my husband's slippers!

These are truly my husband's new "old friends". He unwrapped the box Christmas morning, put them on and now grudgingly changes to his "real" shoes to go out and about. He'd really like to have another pair now: one for upstairs, one for downstairs!

My husband received his first pair of Old Friend slippers about six years ago. They were a gift. He has absolutely loved them. We have ordered a few pair since. (They wear well!) I even have started ordering them for myself. My husband says that he even wants to be buried in his. Silly man! We are thinking of ordering a pair for all our grown children and their spouses for Christmas, next year's. That would cut down on the hassle of shopping.

My husband loves these slippers. We removed the wonderful, soft, furry insoles and replaced them with foam insoles that we purchased at the drugstore because the furry ones took up too much room; wonderful as they were, we didn't throw them away, but put them in a pair of older slippers he had that were too large, making them fit perfectly. Back to the slippers we purchased, though, they fit well, are easy to slip on, and are the style my husband wanted. Less expensive slippers purchased at a department store sale were poorly made and didn't fit well, so we took them back and took a chance on Zappos, and Zappos came through for us! Thank you!
