My favorite runner - This is my 6th pair of Brooks Beasts. I wear them every day to work and to run. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had.

Once again... ...Zappos comes through- number one! Price match and quick delivery will ensure my continual return and recommendation to everyone I know. You guys are the best, hands down, for big shoes. And oh yeah, the shoe- very comfy. Feels solid and strong compared to some Shox I bought. Haven’t put enough mileage on them to know for sure but impressed overall so far. Including looks as well...a bit different but I love the appearance. I wear a 16 in Nike and these fit great.

Incredible shoe for problem walkers - Take it from a fat guy with fallen arches and ankle problems; this shoe is incredible (6'4", 290lbs). I have (tried) to walk in what are considered some of the best walking shoes in the world (ECCO, Mephisto) but these shoes were a quantum level better. I try to walk an hour a day for health reasons and in the past I would finish my walk tired and in pain needing to recover and prop up my ankles. With the Brooks Beast after the same walk I could have kept going. I tell you it was like night and day. I was even able to spend all several hours on my feet without pain and the following day of recovery as in the past. You will never catch me out of these shoes again if I have any prolonged (hour plus) walking or standing to do. If you are ordering shoes without a fit order on the on the large side. Normally a size 13, the Brooks 13 is a little snugger than normal on the length. My next pair may be 13.5 (I'm a fan for life). And be sure to get them wide if your feet are not narrow!

Great Shoes - I purchased these shoes as a gift for my son. He has been wearing this same shoe for 6 years because they have tremendous arch support, which he needs. As long as they continue to help his feet, I will continue to buy them. They are a great shoe.

The Beast is the Best - I have owned my Beast for two years now and they are without a doubt the best shoe I have ever owned and am going to re-order!!!

Wide shoes - Because of a wide foot and a high instep, I am so tired of being relegated to the limited offerings at my local New Balance store. Not anymore! Zappos offered a wide (no pun intended) selection which included the Beast: a stout but light weight shoe with good arch support that fit my 8EEEE foot perfectly.

Best Shoe Ever Made - This is my third pair of Beast shoes. The new style has better colors than the old grey style. I highly recommend this to anyone. I used to have problems with Plantar Fasciitis and these really seem to have taken care of it with the roll bar technology and great arch support. I always get the 2E width but they also come in a 4E if you have really wide feet. Not many shoes have that.

I got what I paid for - After just purchasing my second pair of Brooks Beast I was sold on the longevity of my first pair. I cardio 90 mins daily 5 days a week at the gym + wear my Brooks "outside" also. No other pair of shoes I have owned matches the comfort of the Beast + they look great!

Pronation solver - I have tried many shoes for pronation(Asics, New Balance etc.) but these are by far the best. Excellent support with no stiffness. Very comfortable.

Brooks is what ill stay with - Switched to Brooks after a sales person from a local running store told me they were the best sneaker for overpronators. Also switched to Zappos about 2 years ago because the service is unreal. My sneakers never take 4 days, sometimes a day at most. Love the Brooks beast, not sure if much was changed from last year to this years shoe. Love Zappos, never wrote reviews before, but for Zappos anytime, good work.

Great shoe for wide feet!! I have wide feet and I am an over-pronater. This is the ONLY shoe that feels good and provides the stability I need for walking.

Great, especially for problem feet - This shoe is really great for people with arch and ankle problems. (Although I still added better sole inserts.) Its wide platform is very stable. It's the best shoe I've ever had....surprisingly better than New Balance, which I also like. Great for extra wide feet as well!

Most Comfortable Shoe - Great fit and excellent comfort. Been having problems after a walk with having very sore feet. Since I've been wearing these shoes I can again jog and run which I haven't been able to do for some time. Will only buy these shoes from this point forward. Shoe runs small I normally take a size 11 ordered a 12 and it's a perfect fit.

Great stability- The fit was narrower than expected, but the shoe is otherwise exactly as advertised: an extremely stable (if somewhat stiff) shoe, great for large runners and/or overpronators.

Brooks Beast - A Solid, Supportive Shoe - This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Beast shoes and I am sold on them. The firm support as well as the comfort are excellent. These are extremely important attributes for me because I have hard-to-fit feet and a width that is hard to find.

Very Pleased - I am a large statured individual. Weighed 283lb. Decided to pickup running. Lost 54Lb in and year and a half. Started with a pair of New balance running shoes. Not a good Idea. But I didn't really know much about running shoes. I was flat footed over pronator and over weight. I truly tried brooks beast about 5 years ago and I am afraid to go to a different brand. Brooks has been very good for me. I always had the desire and drive but my feet and legs would get tired. Not with the beast. You can dig deep.

Why You shouldn't Buy The 2004 Beast - I have been running for 8 years, am 6'3" 190 pounds, very flat feet. For 7 of those 8 years I have used the Brooks Beast. These always gave me great cushioning and arch support. I live in the USA and went on a 3 week vacation to Japan this spring. I bought a pair of 2004 Beasts and didn't try them on before I left the USA. When I got to Japan I found they provided WAY less support and cushioning than previous year's Beasts I had owned. The result--a partial tear of my right medial meniscus and knee sugery 2 1/2 weeks ago. Brooks needs to radically redesign this shoe.

Best shoe for overweight runner - TESTED - I'm in Iraq. I used to weigh over 300 pounds. I am training to run a marathon. Laugh if you want I've lost over 60 pounds. DO NOT purchase the Brooks TRANCE. I went through that shoe in two months. I went through a pair of ASIS (?) shoes in two months. I went through another pair of really cheap shoes in two months. These are actually holding up just fine. The ambient temperature is 130 degrees. The extreme heat, cold, and dust combined with my overweight condition is punishing on these shoes. You think they would be too stiff but they are not. They might be too heavy for runners who don't really need real motion control shoes but if you want something that will put the ground underneath you I don't think there is anything better out there. My only complaint is rumors that the shoe might be discontinued. I sure hope not.

The Beast is Best. I recently bought my first pair of Brooks Beast shoes. They're very lightweight and comfortable. I can't tell you how much they've assisted me in getting the exercise I need. Most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever owned. I suggest getting 1/2 size larger than your dress shoes.

The Beast is IT! I bought a pair of brooks once not knowing how nice they are, and now I wpouldn'y buy any other kind of shoes. They are light weight but sturdy. They cost a little more, but are definitely worth it.
