Rockport is definitely not the same shoe as they used to be. Previous Rockport shoes have been so comfortable upon wearing even the first time. This pair felt as if I was stepping into a shoe filled with hard concrete. No padding or cushion whatsoever. I will need to try different brand.

My knees loved my Rockports with Vibram soles. Sadly Rockport stopped using Vibram and instead is using a cheap alternative. If Converse can afford to use Vibram on their sneakers why can't Rockport?

I am very disappointed in this shoe and am reaching out to Zappos' customer service to see if they can rectify the issue. The left shoe fit as expected and was very comfortable. However, the right shoe was defectively made and the tongue of the shoe dug into my ankle. That made the pair unwearable. The defective stitching was so egregious that a ten year old would have spotted it. I read some reviews before buying that commented on the poor workmanship and now I am one of those customers who have been affected by the shoddy work. I'm hopeful that Zappos can rectify the issue and can send me a pair that fit properly without any manufacturer's defects. If so, I will be writing an amendment to this review.

Be cautious - ordered a size based on verified shoe size I have and what I got was marked with the size I wanted but the shoes were not even close to fitting. WAY too small.

There was a flaw in the stitching on the toe right in front of the laces on one of these shoes. At the exact place where everybody would look. I expect better quality control from the factory on Rockports, because they're not cheap.

Hard leather, no padding, aggressive heel cup, completely unforgiving. I sent them back. Never had a pair of Rockports like these - very disappointing.

I have always worn size 11.5 but this pair , while labeled 11.5, was at least 1/2 size too small. This is at least my 10th pair of Rockports and this is the first problem I have had with the size.

X Wide shoe was not, I have other Rockport X Wide shoes that fit properly. These do not reflect proper US sizes. Off shore made.

Shoes were surprisingly uncomfortable. Hard sole, flat insole. I used to wear Rockports all day. These were a totally different shoe.

I have been buying this shoe for a lot of years and this was the first time this shoe has hurt my feet. i can tell that the cushioning in the inside of the shoe has been reduced or done away with entirely. this is no longer the comfortable shoe that i first bought back in the 90s.

Had to return the 12M was too tight didn't fit. Couldn't find the XCS Style I currently have that fits perfectly.

Have purchased World Tour Shoes for 20 years to walk in, Great Shoe up until recently. Quality of product has decreased, quality control now terrible. I could rely on size a !0W, noe can't even put those on my foot! Ordered 2W, still in less ion width than prior 10W when manufactured in a different country. Entire foot aches wearing newest Verizon. Now I have to find another quality shoe, WHY DID YOU CHANGE AND RUIN A GREAT SHOE!
