My feet still hurt from standing all day. Maybe I need orthodics.

Like several other posters, I've owned many pairs of this shoe over the last 15 -20 years. Loved them, until my last 2 pairs. The soles splitting in front. The previous pair lasted a little over a year before the issue occurred. The last pair, just over 3 months.

Not very substantial cushioning. Nice and snug around opening. Arch support OK. Felt very comfortable when I first tried on but this quickly changed. Returned in favor of a Dunham Windsor.

These shoes are the most uncomfortable pair I have ever owned. After about 3 hours in the shoes my feet started to hurt. I even tried gel inserts and I still have foot pain.

I bought them over a year ago & use working in a office. I primarily walk indoors from one room to another around 20 x a day. Don't use for exercise walking or outdoor work at home. Suppose to be a walking shoe but sole wore through under the forefoot within 1 year. I had a pair previously & the sole lasted a number of years with the same type activity. they are still comfortable and good support but the sole doesn't last & appears to be glued on so can't even have re-soled

These are not wide enough for guys with 2D and 4D feet! Plus, my son was not at all happy with the Rockport name, in this case. These aren't very comfortable at all, as far as the insole goes. And, he said there just isn't much comfort/cushion in the sole.

Bought a pair about 2 weeks ago, they do not make shoes like my old pair anymore. Like walking on shower shoes. More than likely my last pair of Rockports!

I had heard excellent things about comfortable Rockport shoes, but this model really disappointed me. The included insole was paper thin, had no arch support or ball-of-foot and provided no comfort whatsoever. After trying them on, I thought maybe the insoles were not even in the shoe, but they were in there all right. They also rubbed quite a bit on the front and side of my ankle. I even bought $45 dollar insoles to try and make them work but they are just not remotely comfortable. I am returning these straightaway.

I tried to break in these walkers for several days before taking them on a river cruise to southern France, but was disappointed (painfully so) in their performance during that trip.

This shoe has been available for a number of years; received my third pair a few weeks ago. Styling same as before, but the leather is different - it does not take a shine, low gloss is the best it will get. Disappointed.

I ordered a wide shoe but it was wider than the other Rockport shoes I'd ordered. I was also disappointed in the quality of the shoes top finish. The finish makes the shoe look like it is made of plastic.

This is the first pair of rockports I have had in over 25 years. I have a narrow foot, and can't get many shoes that fit right. The pair I bought were intended for my trip to France, figuring I would be doing a lot of walking. Although the shoes fit, I was disappointed with the insole. there is not enough cushion. I was also disappointed tat there were not many styles of Rocvkport shoes in a narrow width.

I am 6'2, 215 pound male with long high arches, plus a wide foot. These shoes are generously wide, almost more then the should be. They have zero arch support. when I say zero I mean like the sole feels like it's made out of wood and the insert it paper thin. I'm sorry to insert a negative review but I was so upset by how these fit. Every online review said that they were the best and I was soon to be let down. 0/5, I wouldn't recommend.

Felt narrow at the widest point of my foot, while the toe box was a bit too roomy. I normally wear standard width shoes. Also, they look more like a sneaker than a dress or office shoe.

Shoe fits high to the ankle and irritated the ankle. Also a bit inflexible to break in. Not a typical Rockport feel.

Well I returned these shoes, so let's start with that. Overall the shoes looked great, and were pretty comfortable. I ordered a 12 4E since that's my shoe size, however after wearing them for only one day I was getting ingrown toenails. While the shoes are comfortable and stylish, the toe box tapers down WAY too much at the end for people whose feet stay wide at the toe. I'd only recommend these to people whose feet narrow down as they get to the toe box, otherwise you're in for some discomfort.

I have worn the men's classic for 15 yrs. Latest pair i've worn for a year and the outer portion of the heel has worn abnormally. Previous pairs have lasted 5 or more years with the toe splitting long before the heel wears out.

I ordered these two pairs of shoes because I still wear a pair of the originals. But the new ones had a different pad insert that provided non comparable arch support. Tried a number of different inserts and tried walking inside my house but cannot wear the shoes. In addition, one pair has a rough and painful area around the lower lace-up part of the left shoe. I have not worn the shoes outdoors but do not have the boxes they came in so I guess I cannot return them.

Shoe's did not fit well, and they are very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. A shoe size of 12-W usually fits and feels great, but this pair doesn't. I learned a lesson about shoe purchasing, and that is buy them in an actual store where you can try them on and make sure they feel good.

I have purchased this exact shoe for over 10 years for work and now, after this last pair I will have to find another brand...the insole had to be replaced the minute I got the shoes because they were paper thin...I noticed the Quality of materials in the last couple of pairs I got were going downhill...this one is the last pair I will waste my money on.

If you are replacing an old pair of beloved World Tour Classics, don't be surprised if you find yourself as disappointed as I was. The new shoes don't even resemble a decent quality knockoff of the originals. Thin leather, small ankle linings, much less of the "meat" that made the originals comfortable and long lasting. Why can't companies just leave a good product alone without cheapening the item just to profiteer on the reputation. No more Rockports for me.

This is a great looking shoe, but the size runs way too narrow and a bit small on length. I should have asked Zappos for an exchange to a bigger and wider size, but I kept thinking they'd stretch a bit, but they never did. I am a 13D and that's what I got, so I gave them to a friend with a 12D and they fit him fine, so my friend is quite happy with them. Too bad for me though.
