I work security inside a building. I bought the boots online and received them 3 days later. I have been wearing them now for about 3 weeks and the bottom of my left hill is coming off. I called timberland and they said it should be covered by warranty but I have to pay yo ship it back. I have already spent over $100 to buy them and because there is a defect that has nothing to do with me I have to pay to send them back. Maybe the replacements will be better but even so I will not buy again.

I bought this product after searching all over for hiking boots that I could wear for everyday use as well. I received the product and loved them. After only a few months of wearing them, the inner inside seam on my left boot started to crack and pull away and the rubber outlining parts to the shoe started to fall off. I continued to wear them, thinking maybe the cracking and pulling would stop. It got bad enough that I sent them in to be review by the warranty team. I received an email telling me that they received my package and was told I'd get an update after they'd been reviewed. Two weeks later, I came home to a FedEx tag on my door, that stated I needed to be there to sign for a package. I had no idea what the package was and even when putting the tag number in, I was unable to see where the mysterious package was from. I just received the package today, turns out it was my boots! Inside the half open, badly mangled box, was by boots, and a letter claiming that my boots were damaged due to misuse. Needless to say, I will not be buying shoes from here again, as I was not informed of the returning of my boots and my apparent "misuse" of my boots were not covered under the warranty, even though there was no misuse I could possibly think of. Hiking boots are supposed to stand up to a lot, these however, did not. The Customer Service team, also did not communicate well enough with me and I expected more from such a well known company.

Very dissapointed with condition of boots.. As soon as they arrived one of them had a scuff on them but were perfectly packaged and wrapped.. I immediately had to send them back and is currently waiting for a new pair..

Bought these for my fianc for Christmas, and he absolutely loved them. He loves how comfortable they were out of the box. However, only about a couple of weeks of wear the sole of the right heel began to separate from the boot. We had to ship them back to be inspected to take advantage of the 12 month warranty. My fianc is sad about not having his boots
