This is an awesome shoe. I am on my feet 12-14 hours a day at work. These are so close to wearing slippers, not quite the look I was looking for, but are the best shoes I have found for comfort.

My husband loved these right out of the box! He really likes the removable insert so he can use his own orthotic insert.

Great shoe. If you have VERY wide feet and also need a deep foot bed, this is the one for you. Also very comfortable, and well cushioned. NOTE: These shoes are cut very big. I normally order a 10 - 10.5 6E in New balance (which is still too narrow), and 9 5E in this shoe fits perfectly.

Very comfortable...nowhere near as "ugly" as had been commented by others. Great for daily work needs.

My husband finds these shoes very comfortable and supportive. He teaches and was looking for shoes that would help prevent foot and leg fatigue when standing and walking around a lab for three hours. These have worked out well so far, they are well made and priced well.

Not a moment of break in time the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot. Hope the black come back in stock soon. Others have said it was ugly but I think it is a nice looking shoe. Highly recommend.

My husband says these shoes are really comfortable. I think they look a little too new, but he should have them broken-in in no time.

This is the perfect shoe, leather, cushioned heel, great support, and the wide size fits me perfectly. Great for walking.

Great shoes! Extremely comfortable from day one. After wearing them for another week they became even more comfortable. The cushioning effect is the best I've ever experienced in a shoe. They were true to size and I welcome the wide sizes that are offered. Plenty of room for your orthodic inserts.

The Propet Village Walkers 5 E are the only shoes I've found that fit my wide, blunt feet. I ordered shoes from every website for wide feet; Propet was the only one that fit. I ordered the shoes in the middle of the day and, as if by some miracle, they arrived the following day. Please continue to stock this shoe. I order several pair a year for fear they will be discontinued.

Comfort - I've been a law enforcement officer 29 years come this Jan of 2009. The last 23 years in Customs and Border Protection on the Southwest Border. I finally found the shoe to take an honest pounding of the pavement. If you spend considerable amount of time on your feet on hard surface, this is the shoe. They last about a year; after that they start losing their bounce, but their still in one piece, and I use them around the house. For the price you can't go wrong. I'm on my second pair.

Propét Village Walker - Very comfortable shoe, though I would like Propét to eliminate the embossed name on the heel of the insole. It doesn't take too much time to wear it down to unnoticeable, but at first it was annoying. The shoe has a rough texture so it is for casual wear, but it is extremely comfortable. No break-in needed. And phenomenal service by Zappos. The only way it could have been faster is if they sent the shoes before I ordered them. Zappos is less expensive AND fast!

Want a great shoe, this is it! The Village Walker is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The fit is great and the sizes is what they say it is. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe that looks great.

Long lasting - Certainly a 1,000 miles of use or more. The top of the shoe shows little wear over time. My husband averages 10 miles a day in these shoes. This is the fourth pair of these shoes.

Shoes are a very comfortable fit. They have a nice soft feel underfoot. I find at the end of the workday that my legs/feet are not as tired. Could use a little more arch support.

Excellent Casual - I have wide feet with a high arch. I needed a shoe that would fit those casual times from around the house to in the office on Fridays. This shoe is wonderfully comfortable and keeps the foot dry.

Good Deal - I ordered these for my father and he was impressed by the perfect fit right off. He said they needed no break in. I was impressed by the speed of order: the next day!

Finally, a Fit - I have narrow feet and often have problems finding a shoe that fits. These were perfect. Delivery was real quick and the quality superb.

Comfortable shoe - True to size I have a hard time finding a nice fitting much less looking shoe for my husbands foot size 15 EEE I have to say he slipped these babies on and if I don't remind him before bed I feel he would sleep with them on... COMFORTABLE!!!

Good fit but noisy - Great fit right out of the box. Third pair I've bought. But there's a squeak in the inner lining when I walk. I hope it goes away with time.

The right shoe for the wider than average foot - Finding shoes that are comfortable for wide feet is very difficult. I have a closet full of boxes of new shoes that I will never wear. Maker who make wide sizes normally don't know what they're doing. They adjust part of the shoe, but not others to accommodate this different foot shape. Unfortunately, they rarely ever succeed in producing a comfortable shoe. This is not the case with Propet Village Walkers. This is my second purchase of the same shoe. It fits well, doesn't look like clown shoes, and above all is very COMFORTABLE. I can wear them all day and not be plagued by foot pain. If you have wide feet, and are tired of throwing money away on shoes that don't fit, give these a try. You won't be disappointed.

VILLAGE WALKER - My experience with Propet shoes has been very good. I use size 13eee and they fit right, are comfortable.
