Amazingly comfortable shoe according to my brother. He is on his feet all day & has plantar fasciitis. Says they fit perfect, feel like walking on a soft surface.

The shoes did not fit my foot correctly. This is more than likely not the manufactures fault, it's just my body. It would not be fair to try and rate these shoes. Tom Bonfield

I just bought my third pair of these shoes. They are wonderful! Feel great, right out of the box. They last a long time and look great the same length of time. They arrived from Zappos in two days. Free shipping!

By accident I was able to compare this with Dunham Windsor, which is half as expensive again, but is also waterproof, which I did not need. The Dunham pinched at the end of the toe. It did not have a removable insert, and it had a strong smell. In contrast, when I put on the Propet, it was as though I had always worn them, and they had been made to fit. It was one of the best experiences I have had with putting on new shoes from Zappos and I must have had a dozen different pairs by now. I am an 82 year old retired professor, who still goes in to work once or twice a week, and who also walks a large dog every morning. This is just the right shoe for my needs.

I have neuropathy in my feet and I tried to find a shoe but couldn't. Since my condition often appears in diabetic patients, I looked for diabetic shoes even though I don't have diabetes. I found these Village Walkers and decided to try them. It was a good choice. They are comfortable. They didn't cure my neuropathy but they sure make my feet rejoice.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I have owned. I am a lifetime diabetic with neuropathy as well as recent ankle reconstruction and these shoes make life sweeter when working or walking.

My husband has wide feet, and it is hard to find shoes to fit him. We have ordered from Zappos for a good number of years. They have good merchandise and are prompt to please the customers. This shoe runs larger than most so we had a return, Zappos sent us the exchange merchandise prior to their receiving the original returned pair. Keep up the good work Zappos!

Comfortable and supportive. I ordered them 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, so my thick winter socks would fit in easily. It works.

This shoe was comfortable out of the box. I have not experienced any foot pain while wearing these shoes. They don't look like an orthopedic shoe and are easy to lace and tie.

I bought this shoe because it's one of the few I could find with 5E width. Right now they seem very comfortable. Because I have only had this shoe for a few weeks I can't give you much more information.

I had problem feet before these shoes. Work on concrete floors for 25+ years. I put my custom orthotics in these, retired my tennis shoes and never looked back! I have even gotten amazing relief from plantar fasciitis that I suffered with for years. I guess the one down thing is that they are a bit slick when you have to walk on ice. But then what isn't? I hope I can find these shoes still on the shelf when I get back to needing another pair. Oh yeah, I liked 'em so much I bought 2 pairs so I can rotate and give them a days rest between wears. Also Zappos rules when it comes to service!

These are very comfortable shoes. While they look like heavy shoes they are not. Propet makes wonderful shoes and they are backed up by wonderful service from Zappos!

I really like the width across the ball of my foot. Very comfortable. The sole is a little slick on some carpets.

I had ankle fusion and bone replacement surgery. I found these shoes were comfortable and wide enough. They far exceed anything else I tried.

I have wide feet and a high arch, so I always had a hard time to find shoes to fit. I always had to get a 1/2 size longer to fit me, but these fit great in my real size.

Great shoes This is the second pair of Propet Village Walkers that I have bought for my husband. He loves them. Even though he is not diabetic, these shoes are comfortable and can be worn dress up or dress down. They wear well and it took a very long time for the heels to wear down some! He has them in both black and brown.

This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair I wore out walking the streets of Europe and North Africa but could not throw out as they were still so comfortable even if rather rough-looking. My wife said I should throw them out but I took them to a shoe repair nearby and had them re-stained and polished and now I have two pairs of this wonderful shoe: one for me and one for when I am walking with my wife! All my shoes from Zappos fit the first time no matter the style or material. This is how good service should be.
