I really appreciate the quality and design. I have the need for large diabetic shoes; and these are great. I had to order a bit more wide than I would have due to availability. But overall Zappos is my new shoe source

Most comfortable shoes I have worn in quite sometime. Perfect for someone suffering from neuropathy.

Usually I wear a 6E width so when I ordered these I went a 1\2 size longer to account for the narrower shoe. I did not need the extra length so I reorder in my normal 9 1/2. These fit well and comfortable.

Nice shoe, but run really large. It was at least a full size bigger than other shoes we ordered.

This is a comfortable good looking shoe.

Suffering from hammer toes and a bunion, shoes are hard for me to get. This pair of shoes really fit the bill for comfort. 5E width is very hard to find so this is great. I also bought an other brand but I returned them since they did not fit at all. The return was effortless.

When I first opened the shoe box and saw the out-soles, I thought that I might be disappointed. It turns out that I am very satisfied. The out-soles are made of a light weight, but durable, rubber. I find that the traction and stability of the shoes are great. The upper of the shoe is made of real leather, which you don't find often enough nowadays. The sole is glued and stitched to the shoe, which appears to have a quality seal. I find the shoes very comfortable. It's definitely what I call "an old man shoe", and I like them (even if I am old).

I bought the brown and liked them enough that I went ahead and bought the black as well. I have peripheral neuropathy and these are the best I have found for this problem

Runs large!

Very comfortable and look new after almost 2 years of every third day wear-I alternate shoes. Only problem is the sole cracked and split wide open. I am ordering another pair but am disappointed to throw out what looks like new shoes.

Have bought women's Propet from Zappos before. Was not aware they made diabetic shoes for men. We have had a very hard time locating shoes that would accommodate his swollen feet, be comfortable and look good. Did I mention, not be overly priced. To our amazement these shoes were perfect. No more being only able to wear slippers. I My husband doesn't think they are at all ugly and hey if they are comfortable he is past trying to make a fashion statement! Thanks Zappos!,

These shoes are very comfortable and supportive. They tend to run a bit small compared to other brands in my size. I returned and ordered a half-size larger. I stand all day at work and these keep my feet happy!

These shoes, like other Propet's I have had are very comfortable. They are one of the few mfg that make very wide (4e-5e) shoes in different styles...great fit.

I've had these shoes for a couple of weeks now. I guess my only complaint is that they creak while waking. A bit annoying. The shoes are nice and wide (5E) and fit well. I have hallux rigidus in my left toe and after a while the shoes flexed a bit more than anticipated so I had to put in my high arch rigid carbon fiber insole. All in all, the shoe is fine.

My husband has had serious foot problems and finding shoes that fit his big feet has been nearly impossible. I found these Propets (along with two other pairs of different brands) at Zappos and he loves them. I've tried so many times to find shoes for him, only to discover that they were too narrow or too stiff, or something else was wrong. These look nice, and the price was reasonable, too. If, after wearing them for some time, he finds they aren't as great as he thought, I'll write another review.

These seem like decent shoes but don't work with the shape of his feet, which is a common problem. Other Propet shoes have been great in the past. We might return to this shoe and try a wider width but will see what else is out there first.

This is a well made shoe that is comfortable and handsome looking. I receive numerous compliments about the style of the shoe and many think the shoe is much more expensive than the original price.

Zappos customer service is awesome. The delivery was exceptionally fast, The first pair of Propet shoes didn't fit well and they sent me another size I asked for. I received it the next day---AWESOME! I love the shoes!

Zappos has always been very generous with returns, etc. I have worn the same style brown/black shoe for many years. Never had any problems . You would be well served to get to using Zappos.

With wide feet and a high instep I am one that has always found buying shoes a frustrating, disappointing experience. Even though I have bought exclusively from a shoe dealer specializing in wide shoes, The last two pairs were tossed after a few months of pain. Enter Propet A5500. For the first time in years I have shoes that are comfortable. My shoe size is 8½ 5E I purchased 9 5E and they are great.

I bought this shoe for my husband who is starting to have problems with edema. They were comfortable on the first day and very well constructed, not very fashion forward but I am sure they will be a favorite.
