Mark's shoes - My husband was having a difficult time with his feet. I told him that I thought he did not have a wide enough shoe. I bought one pair of 4E's that didn't seem wide enough and returned them for the current pair of 5E's, which he dearly love. They look good and feel good. He is very happy and I am happy because he doesn't complain about his feet anymore.

Feels Great - They felt great from the first wearing. The size was just what it should be. The price is right. You can't go wrong with this one. They're a little heavier in weight than some. I would buy this one again.

Pro Walker - The shoes I purchased for my husband were a great fit, which is hard to come by. The style was just what he needed and the delivery time was excellent. What usually takes days of shopping to find I found in 5 min., and had at my door in 2 days. Thanks!

Especially Wide Toe Box - I have an especially wide foot in the front. These shoes proved to be the widest last (even for Propet), while at the same time providing good support around the heel and ankle. The only shoes I found wider were the Village Walker Mid. Wear and tear evaluation will have to await further use. An exceptional find for those with width issues!

Very comfortable shoe - I needed a dress shoe but have very wide feet and finally found one here that felt so good. I've worn it to work too. I will be ordering more.

Finally, I found a pair of shoes that live up to the fit and feel of the old Dexter brand. I have had two hip replacements, and am ultra-sensitive to a hard heel strike. These Propets have very soft sole, wide toe-box, and seem to be quite well constructed. The only iffy thing about them is the presence on a slightly obtrusive inner side seam on the outboard side of the interiors. I liked the brown shoes so much that I also bought a black pair, and I noticed that they were subtly different in feel; not quite as comfortable, but still better than anything else I've tried in years.

Mine haven't cracked yet! I bought a pair of these last year, but didn't wear them much at first because they felt heavy. I returned to them later, and have worn them quite a bit lately. They are attractive, high cut, and very sturdy. They still seem heavy, but that's a lot of thick leather there. I hope they don't crack. Seems like a common complaint. If they don't, I'll buy another pair.

I`ve owned for around a year and thought they were a comfortable shoe. Today I`m ordering new shoes because the sole of the left shoe split from side to side around the ball of the foot. I`ve got to have something more reliable, thats why I`m ordering Hushpuppies this time.

Marginal Shoe - The leather is low quality, and the soles cracked. The shoes are middle-of-the-road in terms of comfort. I would not buy another pair.

Having a narrow foot, I was really excited about this shoe. Felt good at first try, though the left shoe felt slightly short. After a full day in them the left shoe also felt as if it had a hole in the bottom at the ball of the foot. The right shoe is extremely comfortable, the left feels like I'm almost walking barefoot.

Propet walker I purchased my Propet walkers less than a year ago and wear them sparingly. They are too hot for summer wear, but I've enjoyed them on cooler days. Recently I found that the insole sinks into the hollow molded sole and feels lumpy under the forefoot. Since I've only worn these shoes a few dozen times, I'm pretty disappointed in them.

Cracked soul - I've owned two pair of Village Walkers. The second pair I bought over the internet. This pair was very comfortable. Both shoes, however, developed a crack on the sole in the area of the ball of the foot. Must be a design flaw.

Cracked soles - My first pair cracked at the ball of the foot after a year. My retailer replaced them at no charge though, it did take about three months to find another pair. My new ones I've been wearing since last summer, they've started to crack as well.

easy to break in, felt good

These shoes are really ugly, but my husband loves them. They fit well and are comfortable.
