We received defective shoes, in only one week the stitching started to come apart; however my husband had fallen in love with the shoes, since they were very comfortable. I called customer service and they were excellent, they offered to either reimburse our money or exchange the shoes. I opted to exchange and Zappos send them via next day delivery. I love hassle free customer service!

I really like these shoes. I've had a brown pair for a year or so, and both the sole and uppers look almost new. I just bought a black pair to go with the brown. They are super comfortable. They are easy to care for, and the soles look like they will last forever. I wear these to work and church, both casual and dressed up. If these wear out (probably years from now), I'll be buying the same thing as replacements. They width up to 5E is a plus, and they are roomy enough to accept prescription orthotics.

Propet village walker in the 5E is the ONLY shoe I have found which fits my wide, blunt feet. I bought several pairs in fear that they will be discontinued.

This is a great work shoe. I am on my feet in retail 12 hours a day and these are the most comfortable shoes ever. No break in time just put them on and go. This is my third pair so far and hopefully Zappos will continue to carry them forever. I ordered them one mid morning and the next day they were delivered free of charge. I consider this one of the best benefits of ordering from Zappos, I do not order all that much online, but the service, speed, and quality of product are the best. Thanks.

My husband has a hard to find shoe size. Even specialty catalogs don't have his size. Again, Zappos came through for us. They offer many sizes and widths. These shoes fit him very comfortably. They are true to size. I recommend Zappos to many of my friends.

This is the best low-volume B-width walking shoe I have found in many years. I only hope they keep making it for many years to come. I have two pairs (brown & black) and don't really need any other shoes for most occasions.

I ordered these shoes, as well as the Nunn Bush Cameron and Hush Puppies Strategy for my busy son to try. He does a great deal of walking and standing as a college student and musician, and he needed sturdy, comfortable shoes. He also has very wide feet and high arches, which makes finding such a shoe difficult. These Propet Village Walkers won hands down. He reported they had much more cushioning than either of the others. He also reminded me he'd had a pair of Nunn Bush Camerons before, and in addition to being thin on the bottom, the stitching didn't hold up well. These are good looking shoes that can be worn with his jeans or khakis and even some dressier slacks.

The Village Walker is positively the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. My feet are terribly deformed from huge bunions and occasional gout attacks, so finding shoes that fit is extremely difficult. I ordered these shoes because they looked comfortable, the price was right and available in my size (9.5 EEEEE). From the moment I slipped them on my feet, it was a Eureka moment. As a result I ordered an additional 3-pair of Propet dress shoes, 1-pair of tennis shoes and a pair of sandals; all of which I am equally satisfied. Bad news: After 4 months of wear (February- May) (11 months of ownership) I noticed the soles had cracked and took on water. Good news: One phone call to Zappos and a replacement pair was shipped next day and the old pair returned, all no charge. I wore the Propet sandals every day (May-October) and loved them. It was not until I began wearing the Village Walker again in November that I noticed the leaking soles.

Big Foot - I have size 16ish feet with an unusually large big toe and a narrow heel. This shoe captures my heel well with enough room for the toes. VERY comfortable and VERY supportive. I high recommend these if you are on hard floors all day. I put a pair of super feet in them to make them even better.

Propets = Relief - I ordered a pair in 11 EEE, and those turned out to not be wide enough to accommodate my orthotics. I returned these and waited until a 5E pair was in stock. Very, very comfortable, possibly better feeling than my (UK manufactured) Clarks shoes.

Great shoe - For looks & comfort a great shoe. I can't wear it all the time because of foot reconstruction. It does however, fit the bill...

Great right out of the box - These shoes are great if you have wide feet. I ordered a 13D. The shoes are true to length and they have a ton of room up front. Very comfortable right out of the box. The width makes them a little clunky looking but they're fine with khakis. An added bonus was that Zappos upgraded me to 1-day shipping for free. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Finally: REALLY comfortable walking shoes - I'm 80 years old, and feel very stupid because I had no idea that EEE size shoes were available. Certainly not in shoe stores. So I bought a longer shoe than was correct to get ones that were wide enough. These Propet's are light, fit perfectly, and are very comfy to walk on.

Great service from Zappos and a wonderful shoe! I'm on my feet all day as a teacher and these shoes are great. They are very light and yet very supportive. These are my third pair of this style.

Great Shoe - This shoe never had to be broke in. It has been comfortable right out of the box. Felt like I had worn it for months the first week I had it. Love the shoe and would buy another pair without question.

Perfect Walking Shoe - This shoe runs true to size at least according to my foot. It is very comfortable and lasts for a long time if taken care of.

Great working shoe! I spend 5-6 hours a day on my feet. I needed a comfortable shoe for work with well padding around the tongue. This shoe has proven both comfortable and looks great! Will buy this shoe again and again! The price was right too!

I love this shoe - Great shoe. I had to take a half size larger than normal, but that's unusual for me. I had the mid-rise before, but this is just as good as the other shoe. Zappos is absolutely the best!

Great Support! I'm 6'3" tall and weigh over 300 pounds. This shoe is great for being on my feet all day. It provides great support. This is my second pair in a different color. Would definitely buy again.

Nice Shoe - The Village Walker seems well built and is very comfortable. I have a 'B' width, so ordered narrow, but they seem just a bit wider than B in the toe. Still they are very comfortable right out of the box.

Excellent casual/work shoe - I love these shoes. I have been wearing Propet shoes for 18 months now. The fit is great and they wear very well. I have had no problems with these shoes. I have recommended them to friends and they loved them too.
