Better quality and comfort than expected - The shoes are great and extremely comfortable. I can't thank you enough for selling 5E width shoes that are not ugly and don' look like boats. I highly recommend them!!!

Great shoe - This is a great shoe. Fits great and feels great.

Village Walker - I have, basically, two pairs of shoes: the brown Village Walkers and the black Village Walkers. I mentioned to a masseuse that my feet were hurting of late, to which she responded that a lot of that could be cured by wearing comfortable shoes. Even though I did a considerable amount of walking in my daily commute that had not occurred to me. After all, one goes to the office in dress shoes, right? So I bought a pair of Village Walkers and very soon thereafter, I bought another pair. I alternate them to allow them to breathe, so that means I wear each pair either two or three days during the week. I've worn these two pairs for a couple of years now. The laces are beginning to fray, and they've collected a few minor scuffs, but the soles do not seem to be wearing down at all. I need a wide, comfortable shoe way, way more than I need style. You would not want to wear this shoe if you were out trying to make a good impression on a woman. Going dancing? Leave 'em at home and take your dressy or even your casual leather-soled slip-ons. But if you're going to be pounding the pavement and carrying a load as well, buy the Village Walker and just try to wear them out.

Propét Village Walker - I love the shoe but it tends to get very wide too soon and gives limited support. I have back problems and have a hard time finding the right shoe to give me support. I am 6'8" and over 300 lbs and put a lot of wear and tear on the shoe because I use them everyday. If you can recommend a shoe that gives support I would like to give it a try.

Love Propét! I have peripheral neuropathy and have difficulty finding shoes that I can tolerate. Propét is by far the best brand I have found yet. I have tried numerous much more expensive brands, only to not be able to wear them for very long without my feet hurting.

At Last!! Most comfortable shoes I have ever had...puts my Clarks to shame. They aren't much on looks, but great on comfort.

Walk in the park - I have been looking for shoes this comfortable, yet a little dressier for years. I felt these were something I could wear to an interview or to the family picnic. They would have even have met the requirement for parade shoes when I was marching with the fire department. Way to go Propet. Thanks for having them in stock Zappos.

Never had better service - I was amazed at how fast we rec'd our order. It was a birthday present and was rec'd the next day. We will be doing more business with Zappos for sure. The shoes are great!!!!! The perfect fit.

First time buyer / Great experience - I never thought I would trust an on-line shoe retailer for service, but Zappos is my "go to" place for now on. One day shipping, secure packaging terrific. As for the shoes, extremely comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period at all. I ordered a wide size, and was worried about their fit, but they fit great. I wear these in an office environment as a casual professional wear, and they work fine for that purpose. I gave four stars for look, as they actually look wider than they feel, kind of a "clunky" look to them that took a little getting used to. I'm seriously considering getting a brown pair to match my black pair.

My first order was returned because the shoe was too large. The replacement order (a 1/2 size smaller) fits well.

Narrow Width, Broad Comfort! My husband, like most husbands, hates to shop. He's been trying to get out with me to shop for shoes for the past few months. If your feet are narrow, as his are, the pickin's are slim, as they say here in the South. Finally, I checked out Zappos (as I did the last time this phenomenon of his wanting to shop occurred) and instantly had a CHOICE of many shoes, great prices, and at narrow widths. This shoe was one of his choices and he loves it. It is very comfortable, and looks great on him. How much more could you want? Plus, no wasting precious weekend time hunting all over Atlanta for narrow shoes. Thanks, Zappos, for making ME look good!!

Very good shoes. Excellent materials, and workmanship. Light. Rare, elegant simplicity of style. Sadly, I am returning them, because their “X” width is almost a quarter of an inch narrower than “2W” of other brands.

Great work shoes - I received the shoes within 3 days and was very pleased. They are exactly what I needed. I walk to work in NYC and I am on my feet the entire shift. These shoes have a simple, clean look and they are very comfortable!

Great Fitting Shoe - I purchased this shoe for my dad who has a hard time finding shoes because of severe arthritis in both his feet. He loved them. He said they are so comfortable and fit him perfectly. I ordered two pairs, black and brown. He recommends them for anyone who has wide and hard to fit feet. I am so happy I found this website.

Review of Propet shoes - I really like the width of theses shoes. If you are border line 3E - 4E, I would definitely get the 3E size. The length seems a little less, so it might not be a bad idea to get a half size longer.

Village Walker 11.5 N - Great fit right from the box. I love finding narrow sizes; most places only carry mediums and wides. They actually look better on your feet than in the photo. However, with Zappos you can return them for sizing etc. if you don't like them, with no shipping charges.....sweet!

Smooth sailing - This is a very comfort shoe, I have problems with the soles of my feet, and this shoe has a comfort in sole. I will buy again.

Excellent shoes - I usually wear a 6E, but these 5Es fit better than most of them. I was very pleased. They are holding up well, are very comfortable and don't look out of place at the office or at the grocery store.

Comfortable - Very nice looking. Comfortable, can wear them all day without any pain.

Very comfortable and supportive - This shoe is what I had hoped it would be. I have a narrow foot, with some pronation problems. I got the 9 1/2 narrow, and it runs true to size. It provides plenty of support, and it really seems to be very well made. I'll be getting more shoes from this company. Very good shoe for the money.

Great shoe for people on their feet a lot! Super comfortable. Lots of support. I teach 8 hours a day and am on my feet for most of that time. Only complaint is that the soles squeek when I walk on polished floors.
