Another great ECCO - Having bought this to wear with a uniform, I've been pleased with the understated good looks, quality construction and legendary ECCO comfort.

Good Shoe - Because of a foot problem, it is difficult to find a shoe that fits good and walks good with my insert. This shoe, without the factory insert, and with my custom insert is good. Now start making this shoe in cordovan color. I have black and rust.

Shoe Review - This is a good, quality shoe. It wears well in rain and other poor weather conditions.

Love them - I have a pair of the Ecco City plain toes that these shoes replaced in their lineup. The new model fits much better and is very comfortable. I highly recommend.

The best everyday dress shoe around - I have owned eight pair (brown, black, burgundy -- both plain and cap toe) over the past five years. Two pair are still in service. I wear them almost every work day and often on weekends. These shoes are not cheap but they are very comfortable out of the box, they never set off airport metal detectors, and I have walked for hours in a new pair and not hurt my feet. This is a dress shoe with a difference: it is made of softer leather than a traditional dress shoe. For me, a pair do not last as long as a traditional Allen Edmonds hard leather dress shoe. I get about 300 days from a pair, which I find acceptable. The shoe has a rubber sole, which is not replacable, unlike a traditional dress shoe with a leather sole. The sole wears well however, and is more comfortable than leather. It is also much better suited to wet sidewalks, and is dressy enough for anything but a full suit (although I have worn them with suits, especially if it is wet out and I want to avoid wet sidewalks in leather soled shoes).

After owning a pair in black, I recently added a pair in brown. They are expensive, but I have never had another dress shoe I could stand in all day without any foot pain. Highly recommended!

Airport proof shoes - Service: Couldn't be better. Ordered one day by Internet. Received the next. Went throught two airport security checks without having to remove the shoes. Saving the shoes in my travel case to always be ready to travel. Shoes both dressy and comfortable. Did not have to take an extra pair of shoes. Highly pleased with my Eccos and Zappos.

Best Shoe Ever! I looked far and wide and wasted hundreds of dollars on supposedly respected brands that killed my feet before finding this shoe. Fit like a glove from day one and no foot pain even when doing lots of walking. Can't say enough!

Extremely comfortable - Excellent fit. I have this shoe in two colors. Perfect for every day use. Very light weight and roomy. Good support and great to wear if it is wet outside. Would highly recommend this style to anyone looking for that easy fit and comfortable everyday shoe.

Ecco New City Plain Toe - The shoe looks great. I am very pleased with the shoe overall. I did not give it a 5 in comfort because I think it can always be better. This is one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn.

GREAT shoes - The perfect shoe for my husband to wear to work and sometimes on the weekend. His last pair lasted for years they are so well made. We also received our shipment so quickly I can't wait to order shoes again!

This is a super comfortable and well made shoe but it sure is boring in styling! After wearing them 4 days a week to work for 2 years and not using a shoe tree they're pretty wrinkled but the sole shows no wear at all and they aren't scuffed. I bought a pair of Bacco Bucci Parkers and don't wear these much anymore.

The best shoe ever - The Ecco New City Plain Toe is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. I can walk many blocks and still have a nice comfortable fit. This is the best walking shoe ever.

Ecco's new city plain toe - I have to tell you, these are the best shoes I've gotten for my self. I'm a doormen and I'm on my feet all the time...these shoes truly help me through the day.

Paris here we come! I researched lots of shoes to find a decent looking and comfortable shoe for an early winter trip to Paris. We plan to walk everywhere from our apartment on the Ile Saint Louis. These appear to be just the ticket -- they feel great and fit just right to size (14). Zappos has good prices and great service!

I own 3 pairs they're so good! I have very large feet (15W) and used to have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes. Once I found Ecco though, my prayers were answered! I now own 3 pairs of these shoes. Yes, 3. They're so good in every way that I wanted to get a couple of extra pairs in case they stopped making them!

Great Dress or Causal - This shoe has been one of my favorites. Comfort and style is number one, and I can use these for formal or causal use.

Perfect Everyday Shoe - This is a shoe you can wear anywhere. It can go from jeans to a suit. The size was perfect and it's very lightweight. Best of all the shoe breathes and stays comfortable all day. Very high quality leather and classic looks.

Freqent Flyer - I use this shoe as a uniform shoe and find it to be the most comfortable, breathable, and long lasting shoe, to date, for my work. Added bonus: you don't have to take them off for the security check point at the airport...no metal.

Good comfort and value - I do a lot of walking when visiting cities on vacation. I found that sneakers, though comfortable at first, really didn't work for me. I have a pair of J.W. Weston lace up oxfords that I used once in desperation after discarding a pair of Rockports that looked comfortable but were not. My challenge was to find a pair of reasonbly priced shoes that were not too ugly (that eliminated Meephistos). I purchased the Ecco from Zappo. I just returned from Paris where I did a good deal of walking. The shoes are great. They are comfortably even after a whole day of touring sites and don't get too hot. Good value -- and Zappo's price guarantee is for real, to my absolute amazement they credited my account for the 110% diffrerence after I found a lower price elsewhere. Good shoe and good, responsive people.

good shoe - Very comfortable. I am pleased with this shoe. It contours to my foot well. I have not purchased this brand before, but I plan to research their inventory for future purchases.
