My husband's ultimate shoe! My husband has bought 3 pairs of these shoes, he loves them so much. They fit like a dream and are extremely comfortable; good looking too, dressy but not stuffy, beautiful leather.

AWESOME shoes - I'm a busy Chiropractor. I'm on my feet all day seeing patients, these shoes are the ONLY ones I wear. They’re comfortable to the MAX, provide great support for the bony structure of the foot, and not to mention they look really nice with your dress clothes. They don't need to be broken in either, they’re great right outta the box, I feel comfortable saying these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, you WON'T be let down unless you've got some kind of oddly shaped foot or something extreme.

Durable, comfortable, and stylish! I wore these for two years in Guatemala as a missionary and they lasted very well. I still wear them and they only have minor signs of wear. Definitely recommended.

The most comfortable shoes - The Ecco shoes a comfortable out of the box; there is no need to break them in. This is my second pair, though a different style, but I am convinced that I will not by any other bran anymore. Kudos also to Zappos.com for their efficiency.

Best Everyday Dress Shoes - Living in San Francisco, I walk a lot and am very hard on shoes. These shoes are great. Perfect fit, no break in time. Last forever.

Ecco comfort ability - I have owned 3 pair of Ecco’s and have been extremely satisfied with the comfort ability and last of the sole. These shoes are excellent if you want long last ability and comfort. Do not buy the cheaper Ecco’s as they are not the same quality. You need to look for the classic variety with the tan vegetable tanned inner foot bed. There is a difference between these and the blackish colored insoles.

Ecco plain toe new city - Everything perfect about the shoe, fit style and weight. I bought 1 brown and 1 black, the black fits a little better brown seems a little bigger. I am very satisfied with the shoes

Ecco New City Plain Toe - I've owned and enjoyed four pairs. Very functional and comfortable. Wide toe box. Sole is very durable. Highly recommend this shoe.

First Pair of Ecco's - Won't Be Last! I had been wearing a pair of Birkenstock Footprint Kensington's for the last three years, and was worried how my foot would react to being in a "regular" shaped shoe. This shoe is great. Very comfortable, and seems really durable. I am hard on the heel of a shoe, and it seems to be holding up well.

Best Comfort Shoe Ever - This shoe was recommended to me by a friend and I have purchased it 3 times since I bought my first pair. Far superior to any shoes I've tried before.

ECCO - Excellent shoe with perfect fit. Very comfortable and highly recommended

Comfortable shoe for dress wear - This shoe is the best of both worlds: it looks dressy enough, and has cushioned soles, making it extremely comfortable. You can dress this down to khakis, or wear it with a dark suit. No one will ever know that you're so comfortable! I was told that police officers wear this shoe when they need to do a lot of walking.

Another Ecco.... Big Ecco fan here ... these shoes are soft right from the box, and they size up the same as other Eccos, so if you know your Ecco size, order that. I expect them to be as durable as other Eccos, but have only had this model for a short while.

Excellent - Initial opinion - I have only worn 2X. So far excellent, would have like more cushioning up front. Fit is excellent and I will continue to buy Ecco for the fit.

My Beloved Eccos - These shoes are so comfortable, I don't want to take them off at night. And they look great too.

New City / New Favorite - I am a first time buyer of the Ecco brand.They are exactly what I expected. No surprises, which is a definite plus when buying online. The fit and finish are excellent.

Mr. C. This is a great shoe. I typically wear either a size 10 1/2 or an 11. Initially, I ordered a size 45, thinking I would err on the side of a larger shoe. This was too large. Zappos was excellent when I called to request an exchange. They even sent the replacement with 2 day priority shipping! I received the size 44 and right out of the box this shoe feels excellent. I was looking for a comfortable, sturdy, business dress shoe I could walk to work in. This definitely fits the bill. The look is understated and professional. I wouldn't wear it with a suit but one could. Perfect for slacks or khakis. I highly recommend it!

Great shoe - Great shoe for those who walk a lot and need to look professional. Unlike most shoes that withstand extensive walking, these shoes can be worn with a suit!

Great all around shoe - I have owned these shoes for almost a year and they have held up remarkably well. I wear them almost every day and do a lot of walking. These are one of the best pair of shoes I have ever had. They are comfortable for walking and are great all day shoes. If your are doing a lot of walking, get insoles (and order the next size up). The soles are long wearing and I have found these to be ideal urban shoes. They look great with jeans, khakis or dress pants. My only two complaints are: 1) the size is smaller than expected for me (about half a size) and 2) the arch support could be a little better. Otherwise, even though I feel they are a little pricey, they are well worth the price over the long haul. I will be buying another pair soon!

2nd pair of Ecco New City Plain Toe as good as the first - This is my second pair of Ecco New City Plain Toe shoes. The first I bought when I lived in London and I wore them to work every day for two years. I walked 30 minutes each way on the hard London streets in total comfort. They scuffed up a bit at the end and the heels wore out as they are wont to do, but they're a great comfortable shoe and Zappos sent them fast and free.

GREAT shoe - This is my 1st pair of Eccos and they were great right out of the box. They didn't need any breaking in and provide lots of support and are very comfortable. The leather is soft and wrinkles, but they keep their shape if you use shoe trees. So comfortable I bought another pair right away.

Very stylish comfortable shoe - I bought a pair of Eccos in desperation at an airport when I was having a problem with my shoes. I spent more than I usually do but was very impressed with the comfort, so I became an Ecco fan. I used the size of those shoes in buying the New City Plain Toe, which worked pretty well. They are very comfortable and stylish. The lacing pattern provided is new to me, but definitely makes them look better. One thing with these shoes is that the arch doesn't seem to hit mine quite right, but it is not too bad.

City Nubuck - I've owned Ecco's for the last 8 years. I started out with them when I sold cars, on my feet 70 hours a week! The most comfortable shoe ever. I'm flat footed and have NO foot pain with these shoes.

With Orthotics - This is a wide shoe for a "Medium" and works well with orthotics.
