Cured Unbearable Heel Pain! First of all, these ECCO shoes are not for men only! They also accomodate many women's wider sizes as well. In my case, a cotton sock made this model the perfectly fitting shoe. I was at my wits end with heal pain--plantar fascia--and after trying everything, I took the recommendation of a very knowedgable shoe salesman. I have an exceptionally high arch, which most shoes do not support adequately. The salesman recommneded the ECCO Cross for my type of foot, and my problems and pain disappeared overnight. I have three pairs now, which I wear constantly for everything, and also have not experienced any disintegrating soles. Actually, it seems as if they'll last forever!

Kevin in Virginia. I wore my first pair just about every day for 2 1/2 years. I have bought two more pairs about 2 months ago (black pair and brown pair). Sent my other pair to be refurbished but have not gotten them back yet. Best shoes I have ever had on my feet.

Absolutely the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had. No kidding. Yeh, the style's a little dorky and the price is kinda high but I don't care--they really are VERY comfortable shoes. Mike.

I'm on my third pair of these great shoes. I love the style and durability. I've never experienced the "cracked sole" problem, and besides walking a lot in them I've also subjected them to countless on stage hours of "heel up" bass drumming (the right one at least).

I love these shoes. These are the best casual shoes I have ever worn! I have had them for over 2 years now and they still are like new...They are more comfortable than sneakers, great for walking, and can be worn with jeans, khakis, etc. and always look great ... I am going to get another pair soon ...

Best casual shoe I have ever had. I've worn them for many years. 'Very dificult to find laces to match these shoes.

Walking Again. I hobbled into a local shoe store and the pain in my feet was unbearable. I asked a young gentlemen if he was good at fitting shoes and he replied "yes". I began to explain to him about the pain in my feet and how I could barely walk and he began to expand on my foot pain as if he knew my problem. He recommended the Ecco shoe that I'm wearing now. I walked out of that store with some pain, but I was able to walk out. The pain was gone by the next day and has been gone since I bought these shoes in April of this year. I did try wearing my old shoes but the pain quikly returned. Ecco have made a believer out of me. At my last doctors visit, my Doctor commented on my shoes, it seems he too was a beliver since he found Eccos.

Lifesaver shoes. (I) Started wearing the Cross shoe five years ago after having a lot of problems with my feet. 'Have since bought four more pairs and wear nothing else year around. My first pair have been discarded, but they gave me great service. I'm now introducing my son to the virtues of this shoe as he is having problems with his feet.

My only review. 'Have enjoyed my only experience yet with Ecco Cross. I've worn this pair for two years, as my main shoe. I've had threads at the toe come loose, and repaired by a local shop. Absolutely, the most comfortable, supportive, and well-wearing shoe I've owned. Considering the fact I have always been hard to please in the shoe department, what with my feet being in pain or discomfort most of the time. I now have a shoe that causes my feet to want to go!

Ecco Black/Forest Nubuck I've been wearing these Ecco shoes for 7 years and they're unbeatable in comfort. Great year-round shoes.

Cracked Soles I have been wear "the cross" for over 6 years now-Great Shoe. There's was a problem with cracking of the sole of a couple of pairs I had- but I was able to have them replaced. The sole is guaranteed for 1 year. If you do not have your recipt and they look good, but with cracked soles contact Ecco or the shop you purchased them. Good Luck

The most comfortable shoe I've EVER worn. A friend of mine recommended Ecco and I bought the Ecco Cross style. They are like wearing no shoe at all. Lightweight, comfortable and they breathe. If you are on your feet a lot this is the shoe for style, comfort and fit. They are pricey but well worth it and they last forever.

First pair of Ecco shoes - Cross. Purchased my first Ecco shoe seven years ago and still wear them everyday, mostly to the office. Walked mile after mile in total comfort, definitely the best shoe I have ever purchased. I think I will get one more year of wear from this shoe. I have just received a new pair of Seawalkers and I am just as impressed with this model.

This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, with the exception of athletic shoes. I've tried a lot of shoes, and nothing else even comes close. It's all I've worn to work for the past three to four years. I own two pairs, a black and a dark brown. The Cross is the most comfortable of the Ecco shoes I've tried by far. One caveat: I have a high arch, and the shoe is best suited for people with a high arch, I think. The shoes provide extremely good support and cushioning, as well as wrap-around-your-foot comfort. Other pluses: They last a long time. I've gotten 1-1/2 to 2 years out of mine, and that's wearing them on average of three times a week. They're also easy to take care of and require almost no polishing, just a wipe off with a damp cloth. When the soles on one pair wore through, I had them rebuilt for $65 from an outfit in San Diego. Since the uppers showed almost no wear, it was well worth it.
