Nice looking shoe but the soles feel hard and hurt my feet. They felt fairly good at first but after a couple of weeks the soles got hard and felt as if they had no insoles in them. Also they are kind of flat to begin with. These tried but can't match other big name shoes.

Comfort but NO DURABILITY!
This shoe is extremely comfortable, but the soles on mine wore out in about two months of three time a week wear in an office situation.
Very disappointed.

Overpriced for the performance -
Soles wear out swiftly, even with occasional use. Considering the cost of the shoes, I deem this a huge fault. For a bit more money, you can purchase Mephistos, which deliver comfort & durability.

I bought my Ecco Cross shoes in 1996 for one of those rare occasions when I need to wear a dressier shoe. Recently, I thought I would try them out again. The first sign of trouble was that leaves and dirt stuck to the soles. Then, I tried wiping off the leaves and dirt and the sole started to disintegrate!
