Ecco Cross Shoes - I have had 2 previous pairs of the particular model Ecco shoes ordered thru Zappos-they wore extremely well and were very comfortable. I was having difficulty finding them locally, and was fortunate to find the exact model on your web site. I received the exact size from you that I need, and they are already very comfortable even though new. Thanks for the good service. Donald Snyder

Comfortable and lightweight - These Ecco shoes are very comfortable and fit well. They are really lightweight, too. I like the Ecco brand.

Declining quality - The shoes has OBVIOUSLY declined in quality. The production has been moved to Slovakia. The clear polyurethane sole has been replaced with a solid black, inferior product. There is not as much cushion in the sole as there used to be. They are not as comfortable as they used to be... However--they still may be the most comfortable shoe available.

Great shoes and great service - Great shoe and great service from Zappos. They delivered my shoe BEFORE the promised date. The shoe and the service get my highest recommendation.

Wonderful men's shoe - My boyfriend's had this pair of shoes for the past 4 1/2 years. They're still pretty good looking, and he wears them for every dressed up thing he does-even semi-formal stuff. He likes them, and they were totally worth the buy. so, men, if you're looking for a durable, nice looking shoe, Ecco Cross is the one to go with.

I love the ecco cross shoe. I put it on and it feels like I have been wearing it for weeks rather than minutes. The only thing I do with this shoe to modify it is to put a couple of pads in the heel so the heel is not quite so negative. Without the pads, the arch is not very comfortable for me. With the pads the shoe is perfect--really perfect. I have 4 pairs of Ecco Cross shoes - all different colors.

The best shoe I have ever owned! I have owned these shoes since 2000 and I still sometimes wear them. I have found myself standing in them all day and then playing basketball in them, unknowingly, got home and said to myself when taking them off, "man what a great shoes." I'm going to buy another pair and continue to wear the old ones to do odd jobs. I will never buy any shoe other than one made in Europe after these pair.

The Ecco Cross is the greatest shoe that I have ever worn. My first pair went to 5 continents and traveled under waterfalls, in mud, on desert sand and many hard city pavements. They held up great and I have continued to buy them ever since. I do feel that the quality is not quite what it was 5 years ago, but they still offer the best feel I have ever had. The support is great! I have bought two pairs to last me into the future if they are discontinued. The styling is OK, but if all the comfort and older quality could be in a more modern style, it would be the greatest shoe on the market! Do not get a larger size than you would regularly buy. They tend to run a bit large.

Mine have lasted three years and I'm going for a resole. Best shoe for the money especially if your feet are sensitive to the typical stiff shoes.

Reliability and Comfort - Had a pair before I purchased this most recent pair. The old pair is two years old and still going.

I initially ordered one pair of shoes from Zappos to be shipped normal delivery. The process was simple and quick. I received the shoes on the second business day after I had ordered them. I have found Zappos’ entire process and follow up to be so efficient and easy that I will likely never buy shoes anywhere else in the future!

The best shoe I have ever had on my feet - I bought my first pair of Ecco Cross shoes over 2 1/2 years ago. I wore them out in about 1 1/2 years with daily wearing, then continued to wear them until my feet said it was time for a new pair (another year). My feet let out a heavy sigh of relief when I put the new pair on. They were just a little tight at first, but after a day or breaking in, they fit perfectly. I now feel as though I am walking on air. I am an Ecco customer for life!

I'm hard on shoes, especially the edges and uppers. My Ecco Cross have lasted through 6 years of 2 or 3 days per week and the soles are just starting to wear through. I've reconditioned them several times and this changed the original color and finish, but the shoes are holding up great. The only problem is the horrible leather insoles. If you're on your feet a lot, they pack down and can get smelly. Be prepared to throw them away and buy a nice quality insole instead.

Great shoe - After these shoes broke in they were wonderful, but I felt the sole wore out too quickly. I had them resoled and I am wearing them still. I wish they came in wider widths but this is my third pair.

The Best - I have worn Ecco Cross shoes for the last 7-8 years. I have 11 pairs 3 each. Brn, Blk, Tan Suede and 2 Creme Nubuck. The three new I use for dress casual, the next 3 are for casual to and from work and the last three are for at work. The two creme get go mingled work and casual. I'm 6'4 250 lbs. and they are the most supportive and comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I buy one new set each year and the work shoes are in such good condition that I donate them to Hospice.

Ecco Cross for Heal Spurs - For years I was bothered with heal spurs. After I started wearing the Ecco Cross shoes I stopped having trouble with heal pain. They look good and are easy to maintain.

Sole deterioration - I have a pair of these shoes and the outer sole of the shoe has crumbled and deteriorated. For what they cost, I believe this should not have happened. Do you stand behind your product?

The Best Shoe I have ever worn! About five years ago I started having foot problems. My neighbor suggested that I try a pair of the Ecco Cross shoes. He said he had similar problems and the shoes really made a difference. Well I was skeptical about the shoe and paying that much money for them, (I never had a shoe last more than six months) but I tried them anyway. I first had to get used to the instep but after about two weeks I loved them and they last between 1.5 to 2 years, so even the price is better. Now I won't wear anything but the ECCO CROSS. The best shoe I Ever owned.

Indisputable Comfort - This is my first pair of Ecco shoes. I was a little apprehensive when I first put them on. Felt good but different, maybe more support than I'm used to. A Very low-profile shoe. At first, I thought they might be a half-size too small. Kind of a funny looking European casual moccasin made in Slovakia. I put the apprehension aside and put them on for a few days. The looks kind of grew on me. The comfort is incredible. In the end, I assess the fit as true to size. I think the initial concern about size was more perception related to the newness of the whole design for me. They're versatile. Can be worn with blue jeans, khakis. Could be worn in a casual work environment. I would not hesitate to buy another pair. I've had mine for only a couple months but have worn almost daily and there are no visible signs of wear. Go ahead, don't hesitate to give them a try.

Great Shoe - The shoes are awesome! Really, I feel like I'm getting a foot massage during the first couple of hours that I wear them. The look is classic dressy casual. Another thing I like is the soles do not make that squeaky sound when walking on a waxed floor. This is the second pair of Ecco Cross shoes that I've purchased. The first, in '99, I purchased them for a trip to Europe -it was fun to see the same shoe on so many EU folks. I'm not sure how Ecco does it, but the shoe holds up amazingly well. The wear started to show a few months ago and I could not find the shoe at any local stores. After reading other reviews of Zappos, I didn't hesitate to buy through them. 'Very pleased with the fast delivery. I'll be back for more.

ECCO. Why Anything Else? I bought my first Eccos in Helsinki, Finland about 20 years ago after my pennyloafers shed a sole and I needed a replacement fast for a scheduled trip to the former Soviet Union (Lenningrad) now St. Petersburg. I purchased a pair of Ecco Danish consumption shoes before they were imported to the USA at a department store. What a revelation! My feet said, "Thank you, thank you!" for years after. Perfect conformity, arch support and quality. I've since had 3 pairs of Ecco Cross, one pair of Ecco Track, and the wonderful Ecco 3-Strap sandal that they don't sell here anymore. As an international airline captain, I bought my shoes in Europe at a substancial savings, but even at stateside prices they're still an excellent value. I just ordered the Inca sandal from Zappos and am awaiting them with anticipation. For my feet, Ecco footwear is absolutely the best choice in terms of comfort, style, quality and durability. I have virtually no complaints. Ecco may be a little more expensive, but I'll not go anywhere else for my shoes.

Hesitant Purchase - Tried on a pair of Ecco's Cross about a year ago. 'Wasn't sure of the feel. Tried on several more types during the year. 'Went back to try them on again. -Bought a pair. Two weeks later, bought another pair.
