I'm on my 6th pair in 10 years. Comfortable, great fit, and fairly long lasting (I wear em daily, and each pair lasts well over a year). Great price if you do the math!

Have worn this boot for about 10 years, and buy about a pair a year. Best I have found for standing and support. Have always gone back to this one. Great customer service from ZAPPOS!

At work, I am on my feet all day. I HAVE to have comfortable shoes that support my ankles and arches as well. I wear kilts at work, so the shoes have to look good, too. I used to wear Docs but as I get older (I'm 56) I find comfort and support way more important that looking cool. I had a pair of Track II Low shoes for almost 10 years! Finally, the rubber soles just broke apart (I didn't know Ecco would re-do them, as some here have claimed). So, I bought a new pair of Track II Lows, and they felt SO good, that I bought the boot version as well. No break-in. Astounding comfort because, after a day on my feet, I don't feel like i've been on my feet all day. Waterproof. Big sudden rainstorm the other day didn't even phase me. An amazing thing has been happening since I started wearing Track II's again. A few times a week, some guy will look at my shoes and say, "Eccos! I had that pair of shoes! Best shoes I've ever had! Lasted me for years!" Or they say that they have a pair and can't live without them. We always express a fear that Ecco will stop making the Track IIs.

My second pair of these and also have another pair in the low top. They are the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. Only problem I had with the old pair was had to re-glue the molding at the front back to the leather.

I have had several versions of these boots. They just get better with every improvement. These are extremely lightweight for boots, but also the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.

I was very skeptical about paying so much for a pair of work boots. I have a couple pairs of Ecco dress shoes for my office job, but wasn't too sure about any other styles. However, I was very pleased at the quality and comfort of these boots. They were well-worth the large investment. They required no break-in period, fit perfectly and provided the necessary traction for any outdoor activity, from gardening to hiking. They are stylish enough for any application and very easy to clean. The leather construction and Gore-Tex mean that they are completely waterproof; simply spraying them off with a hose gets them back to looking like new. I could even wear them to the office if I had to.

These boots are fantastic! They have a big floppy tongue for slipping in easily, but lots of lace hooks to tighten that bad boy up if you need to keep the snow out. Very light in weight is another positive in case you gotta run jump or fly in a snowball fight. Lastly, these boots look super awesome with some bunched up sweatpants.

I have owned at least six pairs of Ecco Track II's over the years - both the high and low versions. They are, without question, the finest shoe made on planet Earth. In any way that you can scrutinize a shoe, these shoes score a perfect 10. They are exceptionally high quality, crazy comfortable in pretty much any weather conditions, and durable enough to last for years as a main, daily go-to shoe. They are great for traveling and the shoe to have if you're doing a lot of walking, hiking or spending long periods of time on your feet. They offer outstanding support and are super comfortable right out of the box. As a frequent international traveler, I have worn these shoes on countless trips overseas, to all corners of the world, and they have been consistently stellar in every place and situation that I wore them to. Yes, they are expensive, no doubt, but you do get what you pay for with these shoes. They are worth every penny and then some. My only complaint it that they have stopped offering black in both the high and low versions. I hope that this is only temporary! I have always had both brown and black pairs in the high and low versions and wish to continue to have all four pairs in future. Bring back the all black versions, Ecco!

I bought this exact same shoe about 15 years ago, and they were the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. They took some time to break in, but after that, they were amazing. The no skid soles of the shoe are so good, they almost feel "sticky" when you walk. They fit secure around the ankle, and are warm and comfortable. They look outstanding too. I work in an office, and I wear them as my dress shoe (with the pants coming down over ankle, you can not really notice they are boots). I wore them almost year round for seven years, they were that comfortable, until finally the soles wore through, so they were incredibly durable too. I suffered pretty dramatic injuries to my feet in 1994, so good, comfortable shoes are invaluable for me. These shoes would be worth the cost for double the price. That being said, I paid almost the same price I did when I originally bought them 15 years ago. This is the first time I have ever purchased a shoe from Zappos, and it will not be the last. I was amazed at the response time. I ordered these shoes online on Saturday, and I had them in my hand on Monday. With service that good, I can't really think of a reason to go to the store and buy shoes.

The Track 2 is the most comfortable shoe on the market. Not the cheapest by any means, but if you try a pair you will never want to wear anything else.

For years I have searched for a comfortable shoe. I'm ecstatic about the ECCO Track II GTX. Best fitting most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I purchased two pair one for work and one for casual wear.

I am on my 8th pair of these boots (started wearing them in 1997). I am not easy on them. My last pair had at least another year to go, but they saved my big toe from a chainsaw. Bummer! But I still have my toe unscathed. I use these books for forestry, tree work. Unbeatable.

I work in an industry where people are on their feet all day. Typical days of 10-18 hours on a variety of surfaces, including blacktop and concrete and stage floors and a variety of natural outdoor locations. Others in the business swore by Ecco, but I was young and dippy and overly style conscious and didn't comprehend the need for truly comfortable and reliable and well-made shoes. I gave my allegiance instead to light and (relatively) inexpensive tennis shoes. Recently, with age, I wised up and realized the joy of pampering shoes, and I took the advice of countless old-timers (and smart young whippersnappers) and purchased a pair of Ecco Track II. From pictures I expected them to be heavier than they are. Most unimportantly, they actually look pretty damn good. Importantly, the quality is immediately evident. And most importantly, these boots are ridiculously comfortable all day. The first time I wore them I didn't want to take them off. They're that good. After a few weeks I bought a pair of Ecco golf shoes; seems one can't go wrong with the big E.

Pricey, but worth it. First pair lasted 5 years and now on 2nd!

I just picked up my umpteenth pair of Ecco Track II GTX hightop boots and I'm wearing them now. I have been wearing this particular style boot to work every day for about 20 years. The boots are wonderful. In addition to style, comfort and fit they are functional for traction in loose dirt (hillside). I'm a land surveyor who has tried many other name brands, including high-end "mephisto" boots (a bit wide but comfortable, horrible hillside traction and ugly as sin). Nothing else come close to the all-around value of Ecco Track II. My only complaint with this boot is that Ecco will not resole them (in house) with the same excellent material they come with new. Nevertheless they wear very well (I weigh 200#) and require very little maintenance. My other complaint with Ecco is that they discontinued several shoe styles that I really like and I'm wondering who does their market research. Cut it out guys or I won't be so charitable for my next review.

I'm on my third pair of these boots and love them. I bought the first for hiking trip in 2001 and wouldn't wear anything else. They are comfortable with little to no break in period. They are durable, lasting over 5 or 6 years with almost daily use. I hope they never change this style. Can't praise them enough.

I've had the low version of these shoes for years and loved them so decided to try these and I'm not disappointed. The only thing about both Track IIs is that I normally wear an 8.5 (US) shoe and most of the shoes and hiking boots I have with European sizing put me at 41.5 or 42. With these I wear a 41 so it took me one Zappos return to get these right. Other than that, they're perfect, well made comfortable shoes that I will wear for many years.

Have had several pairs both this height and shoe height. A great boot very comfortable. Almost like wearing a pair of running shoes. My only problem is that they stopped making them in black.

Better than shearling slippers! The most comfortable footwear ever owned, my boots pound out a minimum of 40 miles a week on city streets. The soft soles eventually show tread wear, but the uppers look great for years. Have to force myself to get new boots, but always Track II. When I climb or carry 60 pound packs on rocky terrain, these are strapped to my pack. Orthotics are a must for me, and the boots accommodate them well. Great year round. Terrific for travel. Just do not go well with a tux, even at The Explorers Club.

This is my third pair of this boot. It is lightweight, durable, and looks good. I use them for work and they last a long time. A bit pricey, but I know what I'm getting for the money.

My husband has been wearing these boots for years. We just bought his 9th pair. He has one pair that he wears for really rough jobs, another for daily wear and then the new pair. He has very, narrow and flat feet, his ankles roll inward and his feet are as soft as a baby's. These are the only shoes he can wear all day (everyday) and not complain about his feet. He does have a couple pair of Ecco sandals that he wears occasionally during the summer but, year in and year out, these are his shoes of choice. Also, two of his close friends wear these.

My second pair! In 2002, I bought this same pair of boots. I wore them all winter long every year since then. The soles finally cracked, but I had no hesitation buying another pair. So comfortable, warm, and good-looking. Love them!

The Ecco Track II Mid High were exactly as advertised. They required no break in, fit perfectly and are as comfortable as my other Ecco boots have been. I typically use the boots for all around wear, in town on paved surfaces and in the country on rough ground. I also typically hike around 20 miles per week through wet grass and sometimes in the rain. My feet have always remained dry. The leather takes the rough wear well requiring only a light application of neutral boot creme to restore it to original condition.

This is my second pair of these boots. I am still using the first pair which I have tormented. I have used them for hunting, outdoor work and heavy snow conditions. I periodically apply a water proofing product. They are about the only boot I have ever had that is actually comfortable and reasonably priced.
