My favorite - Always wear these shoes. Love them so much... not much else to say except they’re the best...classic.

Love these Vans! My Husband loved these Vans. They are a great style and very comfortable. He had to exchange the 1st pair for a larger size, so they may run a little small. The good news is that Zappos has such a great exchange policy! Thanks!

Perfect everything shoe - Very comfortable. I feel a little like Mr. Rogers: I come home from work (singing) and take off my dress shoes and put these on.

Great shoes, great service! I ordered them on another site; after 3 days I got a notice that they were out of stock and couldn't tell me when they'd get the shoe. I cancelled and placed the order with Zappos. I opted for regular shipping and they upgraded me to the fastest one they have; got the shoes within a couple of days. Awesome, couldn't have been a better experience!

Great comfort and fit - I've worn Vans every day for the past three years. I really like the all black shoe because they can be worn with a suit and it doesn't look like your wearing "tennis" shoes!

Sweet! The shoes are so sick. But they gave me a blister on my foot. But it’s all good they're still hot. Looks good with pants and long socks.

Good looking, but a bit uncomfortable - These shoes look great, especially for the summer, but as a warning, they are a bit uncomfortable barefoot (particularly around the heel). After only walking a few blocks without socks, my heels literally started bleeding. Cool shoes, but definitely wear some socks.

Wow - Considering the fact that I have really large feet, I was amazed I was able to find a pair as good as these. Getting used to canvas shoes was interesting as I've never owned a pair, but after the initial adjustment, it was comfy and durable.

Great classic shoe - These shoes cannot be beat for simplicity combined with comfort. I will continue to buy them again and again!

Black on black - These are old school style black on black Vans. They are exactly what you would expect from Vans. I love ‘em... and they are perfect for work.

Summer Classic - I bought these shoes as comfy summer sneaks or to wear with jeans going out, and for that they're perfect. They're super comfy, look good with jeans, khakis, and shorts and they feel good with or without socks. I guess I could've ordered a half a size bigger and gotten away with it, but the 11s feel OK until about the 4th or 5th mile for the day. Other than that, the true white sneaks are tough to keep clean. I spent about 4 hours trying to get them back to their original pure white look. I've heard the best is white shoe polish - live and learn. But for the price, once these things get too beat up to be my "clean sneaks" I'll buy another pair and use the old ones for loungin'. And of course, Zappos is the best.

Get it. This sneaker has classic styling that will never go out of fashion. Van's Authentic is best for hanging out etc., not so much for skating. If you skate them you will have holes in them within' two sessions. This doesn't mean that it's not a great shoe for skating; it has great grip and board feel, and as far as ankle support...a wise man once said that the higher (more ankle support) a sneaker has, the more likely your ankle is to roll because it's 'tricked' into thinking that there is more support therefore it doesn't hold up the same that it (your ankle) would with a lower profile shoe. Keep in mind that all Vans look best when the outer sole is rubbed down and broken in. For what it's worth, this is a very hip shoe for men and women that you're sure to turn heads with.

Vans' Saves the Day!!!! I am so glad that someone still is interested in making a traditional canvas deck shoe!!!!!! My feet find summer unbearable without these nice dry type shoes. Since my two white and one black pair have arrived, I have worn a pair every day!!!! If they quit being made, please let me know so I can stock up for about... 30 years!!!!!

Buying shoes online from Zappos - This company is awesome. Free shipping and the shoes were here in I think two days. Wow, and the fact that they pay the shipping to return if you happen to order the wrong size or color or whatever. No other company does that. Best online experience ever. I will be back next time I need shoes. Great job Zappos.

The Perfect Shoe - I've always had a tough time buying shoes, since I wear a size 13 and have extraordinarily wide feet as well. However, these Authentics are some of the only shoes that are wide enough without being too long, so I don't end up looking like a clown. They're very comfortable to wear with or without socks, and it looks absolutely killer. The white ones can even be dressed up a little if you keep them clean. My only small concern is that the ankle area might be a little loose for some, but personally I like a slightly looser ankle. And, as always, Zappos' awesome service got them to me in only three days. Thanks a bunch Zappos!

Great looking shoe! These things are the most versatile piece of footwear you'll ever own, they go great with everything for an understated bit of style.

I’m cool now - I’ve been shuffling around in Keds forever and suddenly realized that they're still making Vans. Now I'm comfy, cool (not in the temperature sense, either) and all is right with the world. If you're trying to decide whether or not to buy these, you simply cannot go wrong. However just keep in mind that they're not really "white" they're kinda cream. But other than that it’s a no brainer.

Great Value - I have a very particular teenage boy who cannot find any shoes his size in the color he wants. these came within 5 days and the shipping was free. Great value!

Same as I wore as a teen, great - I grew up in CA, when I was old enough to know what the trend was I always wanted a pair of Vans. So when I could afford a pair I got some. Liked them from then on forward. Then I moved to KS could never find them anywhere. Till I got internet. They now have some in KS but they have all the drawings on them. I’m 37 yrs. and I like the old school. Thank you.

Great Fit, Look, & Price - This is my second pair of boat shoes. First I bought the canvas Sperry Top-Siders. These might even be more comfortable than the Sperry’s. They are quite comfortable for just canvas shoes, they look great, and $45 is not too much to ask for. And duh, free shipping is awesome. You won't be disappointed. Run true to size.

Opinion of Vans Authentic Classics - I would highly recommend the Vans Authentic Classics to anyone. They are extremely comfortable. They are also very attractive. It’s nice to know that Zappos carries size 12.
