Nothing personal, I guess I'm just not a Vans' customer, reminded me of the inexpensive sneakers they used to sell at the discount stores for $1.99 when I was a kid.

Bring a brand new pair of shoes but I realized what they sent me where use pears and I could tell because it had an LPN label on it

I have worn Authentics for over 25 years, and they hadn’t changed in that time. They’ve always been a simple cotton canvas sneaker with a cotton drill lining. When I opened this pair, I was amazed to find that both the upper and the lining felt like a cheap synthetic material. I contacted Vans customer service and was informed that the upper and lining are now made from “cotton, polyester, or other plastic.” Gross! Plastic shoes smell awful and persist in landfills for hundreds of years. Too bad, these were nice simple cotton shoes, but now they’re cheap plastic fashion wear.

These were the most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I tried arch supports to see if that would help and it did not.

After 1500 decent reviews I thought I’d take a chance. So very unsupportive and uncomfortable. I don’t know how people wear these.

I have never had shoes fall apart on me so fast before. I usually get a good 2 years out of shoes and the only reason I get rid of them is that the rubber on the bottom is too worn out. These shoes are completely falling apart all over. I love Vans, but these shoes have a been a complete disapointment and waste of money.

I have ordered two of the same shoe and I'm sad to report that BOTH in less than a week are coming apart. The horizontal white band is separating from the sole of the shoe at the heel. Very disappointing as I love the fit and style of the shoe but it's literally coming apart after very limited wear and on TWO different shoes.

These must be knock offs. we ordered these in May, holes opened at the top of the big toe by September, no, not worn every day. After one washing the seams came away from the rubber sides. Really bad quality, how can they possibly be "authentic"? Vans need more quality control over their chinese fabricators.

Very uncomfortable. Cheaply made crap. Not like Vans Atwood. No lining. No padding on tongue or ankle. No cushion. Just canvas. Avoid this model if you value your feet!

I was required to order these shoes for a work event. I did expedited shipping and they arrived on time, the day before I left for my trip. When I first opened the box, I thought the color looked a little weird, but didn't think anything of it since I had ordered online. When I got to my event and saw all of my coworkers shoes (the exact same Vans shoe in the exact same color) I did see that mine were a very different color. My order was correct and they apparently are the same color, but mine look like they were left out in the sun for months. They are faded and the grey almost looks purple/grey. I was the ONLY one with discolored shoes, and since several of my other coworkers also ordered from Zappos, I am very dissatisfied that I would be shipped such a faded, discolored, unacceptable pair of shoes. I am not happy with them and will not purchase from Zappos again, for fear that I will get another leftover, faded pair of shoes.

I wear these shoes for less than 3 months and they are already breaking into pieces. The rubber is torn and comes off. I do not do sports, hike, or anything extreme in those shoes, they are just regular footwear. Still in 3 months they already look awful. I will be looking for different shoes.

Although the shoes fit, they were very uncomfortable. The shoe-lace section is very rough and presses against the top of each foot, causing blisters. If you pre-bandage the top of each foot, they might work out a little better. These shoes are Salvation Army bound!

When I got the shoes, I thought they were great, but within a couple months the sides of the soles started coming loose. The shoes didn't fall completely apart, but it's only a matter of time before the sole comes off. I like the style, but I will not buy Vans again. Adidas has a similar style that I'll try next.

Love the shoes but they don't last very long. The rubber around the top separates from the canvas. I'll keep buying them and Zappos is an excellent supplier! The service and shipping is the greatest.

These are easily the worst shoes I've ever owned. I've had them a little over a month, mostly just for wearing to the office, and they are coming apart. Where the rubber sole meets the canvas has split and is coming unattached on both shoes. These shoes are of unbelievably bad quality. Zappos has been great, so I'm hoping to return and get another pair of Converse. Those tend to last a while.

Not like the original. Kind of disappointed. Poor quality as far as the construction and canvas used to make the product. Not as supreme as I remember.

I have bought Vans for my daughter for years, The same style also. This time she got terrible blisters. I don't know, it must be the shoe itself, we never had that problem before. I would rate them good but this last pair I bought is a waste; she will not wear them again.
