Vans Enthusiast - Great shoe. Good for wearing with or without socks. They break in nice and fit your foot great. Definitely recommend these.

Fresh Kicks - These are your standard old school vans. I bought black on black. Great biking shoes. I need to get some insoles though as the arch support is non-existent.

Ouch - These shoes are awesome and I love them. The first day I got them I wore them and they looked really cute, but I was walking around in them and it hurt my heel really bad. So beware!!!

I look hot with these shoes - They are comfortable and look great… at least on me!!! If you are thinking twice, DON'T! You will be glad you got them! I have had no problem and wish I had them in all colors!!! They look great with everything, too!!! Jeans and shorts… sooo GET THEM!!!

Great old skool shoe - Simple, comfortable, look great... that about sums up the Vans Core Classic. No fancy bells or whistles, just a plain shoe that is stylin' all over the place...

Timeless classic - What you see is what you get, no surprises. The fit and comfort are excellent. The laces give these Vans a more mature look than the classic slip on without sacrificing that clean look. I think they look best with jeans that fall just above the third eyelet. For this price the quality is more than expected...Enjoy!

Husband is very happy - My husband thought the shoes were very comfortable; he was looking for a lighter weight shoe with a "solid" bottom and these fit the bill.

A classic - Just like you wore in the late 70s. Comfortable and cool. Buy them half a size bigger than you normally buy.

Called authentics for a reason - Forget all you've heard from wimps complaining about Vans hurting. Well what do you expect from awesome board feel. Waffle grip is the best thing that’s ever happened to shoes. Suck up the minimal pain or add an extra sole (just get a bigger size). They also rip from the grip tape since the shoes are made of canvas...so if you get any holes, duct tape is a good idea. In fact duct tape provides a pretty good layer after the original canvas completely rubbed down either way, cheap shoes, you don't hafta skate in em if you don't want to, that'll last a few years.

Very happy - I went to 2 different shoe stores in 2 different towns to buy this shoe. It took a total of 5 trips; they had me coming back when they get a new shipment. (Ha!) I took a friends advice ordered from Zappos, got the shoe fast and they wouldn't let me order if not in stock. Thanks!!!

Awesome shoe - This shoe feels really relaxed. It's easy to put it on and do whatever. It's good for skating also.

Shoes were great, but it was the shipping that amazed me. I ordered the shoes on a Wednesday night and came home from work on Thursday to find the shoes on my doorstep. Very impressive.

Replacement - I replaced a 1yr old White pair with the Black/Black style. I'm thinking that the Black/Black will not show dirt like the old pair. For a real off the wall look I wear them with white socks. I am really pleased with the fit of the new shoes. I did not realize that my old shoes had grown sloppy with age.

Fantastic shoes and ever better service. I am very delighted to have purchased these shoes from Zappos. The Vans Authentic have always been a great shoe and I decided to get my first pair yesterday. I used to wear Converse All-Star all the time, but I've made the smart switch now. Converse shoes usually only last about a year for me anyways. They fit great, look great, and are well-priced. Although they're not as comfortable as other sneakers, they are a classic. I ordered these at 5 p.m. and had them delivered to my door at 1:30 p.m. the next day. If that's not GREAT service, I don't know what is.

Butter, brah! Perfect for chillin, looks great, and gives you an old school look. Wouldn’t recommend wearing them as your everyday shoe, but overall, they’re a very comfortable, stylish shoe! Get more then one color!

The best lay back shoe in the world - I have used this brand all my life. At lease for me there is nothing better. I might be wrong by not use a different brand, but I just like the way they look!!!

Awesome Shoes - I purchased these shoes for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. All her friends have asked where they too can get a pair. This is a great shoe, with a great "old school" look - These shoes are true to size, but will stretch a little bit since they are canvas, so just keep that in mind.

I love my Vans! My Vans rock! They fit great, they look great, and they are super comfortable.
