basssreview - The leather straps were not as soft on the toes as I thought they would be--other than that, they look good.

Too narrow for narrow feet - They were comfortable but my foot was wider that the foot bed on the Medium width sandal. I always wear a narrow to medium width shoe.

Hand crafted or thrown together by hand? I returned both I had ordered. A strap was oversized as if it was cut wrong. The piece going between the toes was sewn on crooked, like diagonally, and dug into my toe. I bought these for nostalgia and was disappointed. Some things are better left as memories.

Nice sandal, but runs narrow - I ordered the WW, and my foot hangs over the sides. I've never had that problem with any other WW shoe I've ever owned. The straps seem like they might pull out from the sides, but past experience with Bass sandals tells me they probably won't. It's disappointing, because I think they look great and would be a great slip-on for running around doing errands.

Comfortable! Very comfortable, almost like going barefoot. Only complaint is cushion didn't last more than about a year and now I could use another pair.

Very cute, but too painful if you suffer from plantar facitis.

Um, when exactly do they soften up?? I bought these shoes a couple months ago. I'd had them ages ago and was excited to rediscover what a cute flip flop they are. But after slicing my feet repeated with the hard leather straps, I'm afraid I'll have to retire them early. I know it takes a while for leather to soften, but these straps are especially stiff. The footbed is so comfortable and I love the soles, only wish it didn't hurt so much to wear them.

These shoes run really wide. I wear a 9.5N and the "narrow" was wider than a typical medium. A total disappointment. Had they been narrow I would have been happy to keep them. They were very comfortable.

I thought these sandals were very cute, I read all the reviews so ordered an WW width, they were WAY too narrow. I had to return them. The toe piece was also very painful. I put the sandals on, walked across the floor and the toe piece caused quite a bit of pain.

This item looks great and very comfortable. However, it didn t fit with my feet. I ordered twice for different size 10 and 11. I decided to change the brand.

I am usually a size 6 but since I have wide feet I usually order a size up in sandals. I ordered these in a 7 wide and they were smaller (narrower and in length) then my regular size 6 shoes. They were cute but definitely run small and I can't imagine how narrow the regular width size is!

I have this shoe in a tan from years ago and love it. It fits like a dream. So when I found it in a white and black here, I jumped on it and could hardly wait to get them! I have a small narrow foot (I wear a 6 narrow), and am hard to fit. I ordered these in the 6 narrow, just like my tan ones. However, when these arrived, they are nothing like the original tan ones. The straps are huge on my narrow feet! So disappointed... back they go.

These are really cute but they are very narrow. After reading the other reviews about their narrowness, I ordered the widest size they offer and that was still not wide enough! The length was perfect, and the straps are cute, but these are only for people with narrow or mildly wide feet. For reference, I normally wear regular width Keen sandals with no problem.

Bass must be out of their minds - they have ruined the classic Sunjuns. Even Extra Wide is too narrow in the heel, and the straps were not sew on straight. I have had about 10 pairs of these since the 1970's, all size 9W, and was replacing my last pair of cinnamon Sharons. I am so disappointed, since these were my go-to flip-flop sandals almost every day in the summer. I've returned both the W and the WW.

I loved the look of these sandals and was excited to receive them. I can usually wear a size 8 or 8 1/2 so based on other reviewers comments I ordered an 8 since everyone says they run big and wide. I found that the foot bed length on the size 8 wasn't long enough for my foot. Don't get me wrong, my foot fit BUT barely and it looked funny. I would have returned them and ordered a size 8 1/2 but as other reviewers have mentioned the straps on the sandals are WAY wide. They were wide or tall/loose for me even on the size 8 so they would have been really loose/tall off of my foot had I ordered the 8 1/2. I don't have wide or narrow feet and have always ordered regular shoes.

While I love the looks of my new shoe, it is way too narrow. I bought the Wide and it fits my daughter - who has an average width foot. If you need a wide shoe, this is not for you!

I love the way these sandals look, and hate the way they feel. They make my feet bleed whenever I wear them, and I've had them for a year now. I've tried oiling the straps to no effect. I've started wearing Japanese toe-socks with them and then taking the socks off at the office where I don't have to walk anywhere and they look nice enough without socks. They're also really heavy in the footbed for a sandal with no ankle strap -- the back thumps away as you walk. Wish I'd have returned them while I had the chance, but I thought the straps would break in with time...they haven't.

I have pretty wide feet but these were just swimming on me. Love the color and the style, but unfortunately these have to go back.

I have several pairs of the Bass sandal which is similar (but has a back strap and no thong), so I thought I'd try these. Unfortunately these didn't work for me at all. I couldn't keep my feet centered on the sandals while walking, and the thong was uncomfortable.

I have fairly narrow feet and figured after reading the reviews, they would fit me well. However, I found that there really wasn't much wiggle room. My toes were hanging over the top so I would probably have to get a half size up. I also found that the part that goes between my toes was very uncomfortable and digging into the flesh. I could not wear these all day feeling like they were sawing between my toes. I am disappointed as I thought the style was cute, just not comfortable.

1st order shoe was too small so I ordered a size 10 (I usually wear a 9 1/2). It seemed that the straps were wider but not the sole. I tried wearing them around the house to see if they'd work anyway and found that insert between the toes was very uncomfortable even painful after only wearing them a short time. Sent back.

These shoes are adorable, but very very narrow. I wear a WW, and it felt like just a normal wide. Too bad because they are super cute. Returning these.

I'm not sure if it is just my feet, but the second I put these on I knew these weren't going to work. The thong for between your toes is very stiff and for me caused pain the moment I put it on, from putting pressure in between my toes. They seemed true to size though, if anything on a little bit on the larger side.

Very disappointed that I have to return these. The leather piece that goes between the toes is very short and makes the straps to tight.

Cute shoes. But not a wide width. I ordered an 8w (my normal size in almost every shoe brand I buy) in the bass 'sharon'. I couldn't even get my toes into the sandal, let alone the rest of my foot. It felt as though I was trying to put on a size 7 narrow - that's how tight they were when I tried to get the ball of my foot past the instep strap. I'm sure they're comfortable, cushion-wise. And they're cute, daily sandals for the summer. Too bad they didn't fit.
