Hurt My Back - I really liked the way the shoe looked. However, it hurt my back...actually threw my back out. I would have returned the two pairs I bought but I had worn them both. Whenever I wore them I got back pain. I ignored the pain until I was flat on my back.

Unfortunately for me, I threw away all the packing material and invoice before I tried on the shoes. Otherwise I would have sent them back in a heartbeat. The leather is so hard and stiff that it causes a lot of pain to where I can hardly walk in them. They hurt my feet so bad. And the thickness between the toes is too much which causes pain also. I have been trying to wear them a few minutes a day trying to break them in, but I’m not having any success so far. I had bought this same type of BASS shoe years and years ago and loved them. (I’m not sure if it's the same name or not.) But that's why I chose this particular shoe. I would never buy these again. I have never known BASS to have uncomfortable shoes before - and this surprised me.
