Was very disappointed in these sandals. Usually I wear a medium width shoe but will order wides if its a strappy sandal or heels. These are even narrower than a medium width would be, little lone a wide. The quality of the leather of the straps on this tan pair was ok but from the pictures, at the time I ordered, some colors of leather made it look of poor quality. Super disappointed, sending these back today, debating whether to take a chance on the WW width. Hope this helps.

I've worn these shoes for years. It's too bad the company changed the sizing. Now the medium I used to wear is too narrow and my baby toes hang over the edges. I tried the wide and the straps are too loose. Too bad I can't wear them anymore.

I ordered a double wide and the moment that I laid eyes on them, I knew that I'd been gypped. Also, the shoes looked worn.

I have loved this shoe for years and always ordered a 10 medium, however, I recently ordered a pair from Zappos that were 10 WW (thought they would be super comfy if I got them wider) but I had to return them because they were too narrow! Instead of an extra wide, maybe they mistakenly sent me a narrow? Seriously, it was narrow to medium in width. What happened? My foot is a little on the wide side, but I generally wear a medium. If you go ahead and order this shoe, I would recommend that you order a size larger and request the extra wide - as it will only be a medium width anyway. Nice shoe, just be careful about ordering a size larger.

What a disappointment. After reading the reviews, I hoped that the narrow might really be narrow. The foot bed was a bit narrower than most mediums, but the straps were too long. I could put my hands in with my feet and still have room left over. As loose as the straps were, they still scratched my feet. Yuk.

Couldn't get my foot past the first straps. I have wide feet and ordered wide. I normally don't have this problem. Returning them.

Well made. Looks great. Unfortunately, they placed straps for a wide foot on a medium sole; so it's not the most comfortable step. You can't fool us with your shortcuts. If wide footed people weren't so desperate for quality shoes we would not buy. Will not recommend for wide feet.

I ordered an 11W. The straps are longer to fit a fatter foot, but the base is still a medium width. These are being returned.

These shoes looked great when I got them but there was no way I could even get them on my feet, even though I ordered a wide size, which is what I wear. I was really disappointed and had to return them. Since the wide was so narrow, I'm not even sure a double wide would fit.

I was so excited about this shoe, have worn this brand and style years ago and loved it...also liked the color of the suede strap. However, I ordered it in wide and if I had not looked at the box and shoe labels, I would have thought it was a Narrow. Couldn't even get my slightly wide foot into it. What was Bass thinking when they sized this?

This shoe was too wide and it cut my feet right where the bottom most strap is. I would recommend the one with straps at the back too but not this shoe.

Well, I just love the style of this sandal, but the sizing is slightly off. I bought a pair at another store with regular width and had to return them. So I went to Zappos and found the same sandal with a wider width so I ordered them. Came in beautiful until I put them on and again the width is small. I'm trying it again and ordered a ww width so I'm hoping it would be good. I'm crossing my fingers for this one!

I tried three different sizes and finally gave up. Bass historically has always been a hard shoe to fit to my feet as they tend towards extremely narrow but these took the cake. My normal 6.5B felt like a child's shoe. I returned them and got a 7B, still way too narrow. Returned and got a 7W, still too narrow with the added bonus of both sandals making a "whooshing" sound as the air was pressed out of the footbed every step I took. Back they too are going. Super cute sandal just not built for my foot.

I am very disappointing in these shoes! I have wide feet so I order these in wide and I couldn't even squeeze my feet into them. My sister has normal size feet and she couldn't even get her foot into them. Both the box and shoes listed wide, so I am not sure why I couldn't even squeeze into them but needless to say they are going back immediately!

Not the Bass sandals I remember! The straps were uneven and came way forward on my foot. The backs actually slapped the ground. I have never had problems with any sandals but these were awful.

If you enjoy your skin being torn off as you walk I suggest you buy these. I bought them because the other reviewers said they were comfortable. I live in NYC, I walk a lot, these sandals are awful. I am wearing them today since it is 85 degrees and I wish I would have word my high heeled sandals instead. I am putting Band aids over the cuts on my feet from these sandals, but the straps are ripping off the Band aids as I walk. I am ready to throw these into the nearest garbage can and walk barefoot through midtown. don't by these if you need to walk more than 2 city blocks. I wish I could return them.

I rated low because of the straps. Everything else pretty much perfect. I bought them for my beach wedding, thinking they would be comfy and cute and something I could last all day in. I was wrong. The straps were so irritating, they actually gave my blisters on the top of my feet. The bottoms of my feet were comfortable however!

I love how these look, but they are terribly uncomfortable. I wear size 11W, but those were too narrow, so I ordered 11WW and the straps still cut into my skin. I have terrible, painful cuts on my feet from the straps on the inner part of the foot - -and this is from just a 10 minute walk. When I got to my destination, I couldn't wait to take them off. These are awful! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, and I can't believe they've gotten such positive reviews here.

I wear a size 11 & 3/4 on one foot and a 12 on the other. These sandals were about an inch or so too short, and I bought and received a size 12, & they are not close to being medium width. I would say they are narrow. Very disappointed to say the least. I used to buy Bass years ago when I lived near a Bass store, and never had any problems, except for maybe they didn't have a lot of shoes available in size 12 sometimes.

This shoe was way narrow. I got the extra wide (WW) and could not even get the shoe on my foot. In most other brands a 7WW fits me perfectly, but not this brand. Too bad since it's a really cute flip flop style.

Incorrect sizing - I bought this in a double wide width, and I normally wear only a wide width, but because they were strappy, I thought an even wider size might be nice. Well, not only were they not double wide, they were not wide at all. Sending them back.

Great shoe is width was sized right! The sandal looks great, has wonderful cushiony feel but I ordered WW and had to double check the box to make sure I didn't receive a narrow. Wish the width size was true! I couldn't tell if the shoe was larger or not because I my big toe fit under the straps and that was as far as I could get the shoe on!

Manufacturer Defect - Extremely happy with how fast I received my order. Extremely unhappy with the product. The strap that goes over your big toe on both shoes is too long. It is also longer on the right shoe then the left. When you have them on, that strap just hangs in the air and off the side of the shoe. Seems like someone mismeasured for that strap.

Very disappointed... I have always liked the look of this shoe so I finally decided to order it. It fits really narrow, it seems short and it looks horrible on my foot. I'm really disappointed. I think they may fit my mother who has a really narrow foot. If she doesn't like them, I will return them.
