I bought these shoes in May and thought they were great. The straps were a little tight at first and took a couple weeks to break in. After that they were very comfortable and stylish. However, after 5 months, one of the leather straps broke, which was pretty disappointing considering all the great reviews and the reputation of the company. I would have expected these to last much longer.

I normally wear a regular, but thought these looked narrow and so I ordered a wide. It was still too narrow. I am surprised that so many people thought these were wider than marked as I found the opposite to be true.

I like the concept but the straps were hard and rubbed my toes almost to the point of creating a blister.

Ordered a wide width as my feet are medium to wide. Very narrow shoe. Straps pinched the sides of my feet. Disappointed in fit and low comfort.

I really liked the style, but this was definitely NOT a double wide. The length was good and the material was very nice.

Really cute shoes, look nice on the feet, but no support. If you've got good feet with no problems, go for it. But except for the padding, not for me. Also, the thong is rather stiff. Some reviewers said it would probably soften, but I didn't want to take a chance. Too bad, they really are stylish.

Pretty, But Painful! I love the look of these shoes and wish they were more comfortable. I am hoping they break in soon! The toe piece is stiff and not comfortable. I ordered a wide because of the other reviews I had read and agree that they run narrow. I usually don't wear a wide, but am glad I ordered them this time.

OW !! Cute sandal at a great price, but OW !!! I don't know how you could stand wearing these long enough to break in the toe piece. It hurt!

Sandal purchase - I have purchased this particular style of sandals for years because of their comfort, wearing them immediately with no break-in time. I have been disappointed with this last pair since they are no longer manufactured in America. The straps are no longer soft & pliable but stiff and abrasive, causing pain & difficulty walking that I've never experienced previously. I will wear them because I like the style but will think twice before purchasing another similar pair again.

Irregular sizing - Bought a second pair after loving my first pair, but lo and behold, even though the second pair was the same size, the width was MUCH wider than the first pair -- so trying to stay positive, I'd say to reorder if your first pair doesn't fit quite right. Good luck!

Bass Sharon shoes - black - I have loved the Bass Sharon shoes for years - but this is the first pr. that hasn't fit properly - I'm going to have to return them. The strap that goes over the little toe is way smaller than other Sharon shoes that I have in the very same size - most uncomfortable. I tried them on yesterday and they came right off - I'm very disappointed.

Devotee of the style, but strange fit - I bought some of these made by Dexter over 2 years ago, that I wore completely out. I love, love, love this style. Strappier and not as sloppy looking as flip flops. So, I needed a new pair and went straight to Zappos...or shoe heaven as I like to call it. I am glad I read the reviews first. I like to get others tips on comfort and especially size as I am in between a 6.5 and 7 with very narrow feet (AAA). These sandals are super narrow. Shoes are always slipping off my feet, so like I basically can wear Mary Janes, Uggs, and shoes with ankle straps. I'm not used to sandals fitting me this well! But if you have regular width feet, you probably should buy wides. I could be wrong, but these are shockingly narrow!! Works for me, though!

Too shallow for comfort! This is the sandal I've searched for all summer! I thought. Apparently, white, strappy, leather sandals are out. I ordered this sandal in white, extra wide. The problem with the Bass Sharon, for me, is that it's too tight. I have a very wide foot with average arch and instep. I could barely force my foot into the sandal. I had my 16 year old daughter try the sandal and she didn't have much luck either. (Her feet are not wide) She too had to manipulate the straps with her fingers to get the sandal on her foot. I'm not sure who Bass is making this shoe for, but someone should show them a real foot.

Sent these back. I wish they would have fit but they didn't have enough strap for my foot. I ordered an Extra Wide and it still wasn't wide enough.

I bought the white at the beginning of the summer and within a few months of use; the white color was peeling off. Not very attractive, and quite unexpected. Good thing they were inexpensive!

Break-in may be required - This sandal required some break-in time due to the sharp edges of the leather straps (between big toe and next toe) - after break-in they are very comfortable. They are not the quietest shoe - they "hiss" when I walk (air escaping from the sole) maybe that will go away over time. If the sandal didn't require break-in and didn't hiss I would have rated these sandals 5 stars in all categories.

Ran small and narrow - Everyone one I know has a pair of these. I tried mine on and they were small a least a half size and tight. This is my first time buying Bass, but all my other sandals are 9 and medium. Nice look and soft sole, but not true to size at all.

I ordered these in a 1/2 size smaller because of what everyone said about them. Unfortunately, my size 9 toes hung over the front of the 8.5 shoe. The shoes seemed really soft and comfortable, but I had to send them back! Now there aren't any more left in black (9). Oh well!

I love the look of these, and the footbed is very cushioned and comfortable. But the leather is tough, and for me, the straps that goes between your toes were too thick and hurt my feet. It could be because my feet are small.

Nice looking, but straps are not comfortable - This shoe is absolutely beautiful and seems to give my foot good padding and support. However, the straps require a lot of time to break them in--they would give me sores on my feet after a short 2-block walk! After all the sores I got, I stopped trying to break them in myself, and broke them in by wedging something under the straps and leaving it for a week. That, and some lotion to soften them, seemed to work. But the straps are still not as comfortable as most other sandals I own. However, I don't believe this is a bad shoe...I just think that this shoe runs at least half a size small. Comparing it to other sandals I own that are the same size shows a big difference. I would recommend you buy this shoe 1/2 to one size larger than your usual size.

Having some trouble getting comfortable in these. I am having trouble getting used to the thong - it is thick and rubs against my toes. I am afraid that this thong is going to be very painful. So far I haven't been able to tolerate wearing this sandal for more than 10 minutes at a time. My Naot shoes didn't do this as their thong part is made of the softest suede. The base of the shoe is cushy though and it was hard to find nice white sandals mid season.

Big toe falls off the shoe - I wear a 7 1/2 narrow and was really hoping that these sandals would fit. My big toe is off the sandal though, even though the other 4 toes have plenty of room. The footbed felt very cushy, so I'm returning these sandals and ordering the other Bass sandals without the toe divider. Hope the next pair fits!

Not wide enough - These shoes were really cute so I was excited when I got them out of the box. I bought the wide and could only get my foot in the shoe half way. Definitely not made for wide feet!
