I don't understand why these are so popular? I purchased a pair so that I would have some casual slip on shoes. Appearance-wise, they look true to the photos. They are horribly uncomfortable; a good half-size smaller, no inner support. I wore them for a few hours, thinking that they would stretch a little after the first couple wears (they did not). The thing that disappointed me the most was the fact that the bottoms of the shoes have no traction at all, so I was slipping and sliding the whole time.

These seem so cheaply made compared to my other Toms. The inside edge has a seam that ribs against my inner heel and now both feet have tender spots. These shoes are going to the donation pile.

I wanted these shoes to work so badly! They say “true to size” so I got size 10 bc I’m usually a 9.5 - 10. Way too big! Tried 9.5. Still too big. Tried 9. Still sleeps off my heel :( Maybe I just have really skinny heels. I’m giving up for now. So disappointed and don’t understand how I’m always a 9.5 - 10 yet I may be an 8 or 8.5 in this shoe.

I love Toms but only four months into having them I already have a hole. I don't do anything athletic in the shoes besides walking... they should not tear up so easily especially for the price.

I’ve been buying Toms classics for over 7 years. I’ve always been able to put them on right away and they were super comfortable. Never had to break them in. The pair I just received are awful. The fabric is stiff and I got blisters from wearing them. I don’t know what Toms changed or why but I will never buy them again. The reason I loved them so much is because I didn’t have to break them in so it’s just pointless to buy them now.

So disappointed! I really wanted to love these shoes considering they would be easy slip-on shoes but they had weird sizing issues. I purchased a my regular size and they were a bit tight so I went up a half size then they didn't even fit. I didn't want to have to keep exchanging the shoes and hoping to land on the right fit. They were a lot narrower and smaller than expected. I didn't have this problem with some other brands. If you have small and narrow feet you might not have the problem. But I have small and slightly wide feet. Sizing was just way off. The other reviewer who said that they had issues was not joking. I should've taken heed.

I don't understand what it is with Toms. the 9 is too big, but the 8.5 is too small. I kept the 8.5 and they're fine, but they're just not that comfortable. It's my second pair of toms, same result. They're still great travel shoes.

I love toms, but it seemed that they made the shoes size smaller. I need to go one size higher.

The nice thing about TOMS is that they are lightweight and they are a "giving" company - which I like. But I don't feel like the quality of their shoes is the greatest. I feel they are small for the sizing, which is too bad because they look like they would be so comfy if I could just get them on my feet. These were for someone else, so I hope they fit them well.

I liked most everything about it but the bottom has no traction. As soon as I tried it on and took a couple steps, I almost fell on hardwood floors. Then I tried them on vinyl and tile floors and each time almost fell again. Too slippery to wear at home - which was going to be my main use.

I order a pair of navy Toms every spring and love them. However, the ones i received are not like the usual ones. These did not fit properly and and just looked off at the top of the shoe. I’m returning

Ordered light grey canvas. They are definitely not light grey, they are more like a nude/skin color... kind of disappointed.

Odd fit, and they made my feet look too big. Also, they were not comfortable like the old Toms were. I guess they changed the way they make them. Felt cheap, and most definitely not worth the money. Sorry.

So disappointing! I was expecting these to fit like a cushy glove but instead, they were so stiff that they tore up the back of my heels. I thought maybe I just hadn't broken them in sufficiently but after wearing for a few days, they hadn't molded to my feet and my heels remained raw. I wonder if I got a bad pair or something, since this doesn't seem to be a typical experience. At any rate, I won't be ordering these again,

I can't believe how tight these shoes are. I could barely get the shoe on, the top is so tight. The elastic panel does nothing. Returned immediately. My feet are slowly getting circulation back. I would not categorize myself as having a large or wide foot.

They look cute on other people, but they looked ugly on my feet.

I am very disappointed with Tom's shoes. I bought them because they donate money (or shoes) to charity. I like the look of the shoes and this blue is nice and goes well with jeans or shorts. Unfortunately they are not comfortable at all. There is absolutely no arch support, the soles are thin, there is not much grip on the soles and what 'grip' they have wears off after one walk. They are also a strange shape, it's as if the soles are a straight line but my foot has a small curve to it so my foot is never on the sole properly, my heel is on the fabric just a little bit. I've had that happen with 2 super cheap shoes in my 35yrs of wearing shoes. I wanted a slip on shoe and because Toms advertises that they donate to their charity I assumed the shoes they make would be good quality. I hope the shoes they send overseas to the charity are better quality and fitting than the ones they sell here.

Cute shoe, but runs small.

Extremely comfortable, as other reviewers have said. However after just a week, there is almost no grip any more on the soles. I'm in constant danger of wiping out on my hardwood floors, even on my sloped grass yard. Very comfy and cute but will not be purchasing another pair.

I simply loved the idea of them but in practice, they are not the right shoes for people with wider feet or those who need any arch support at all. Nor would they be "walkable" for any reaal distance -- I stood in them inside my house, on a hardwood floor, for mere minutes and they began to feel quite uncomfortable. I can easily imagine they'd be delightful if you have narrow feet with low arches. I'm so sorry these didn't work out! But back to Zappos they will have to go.

Very bad quality , I purchased the denim color from Macy that one perfect comfy and love to wear that , but unfortunately I got black pair from you guys . Not perfect size and quality inside fabric to hard effected on my skin . Not to buy again I wasted my money with no reason .

Though labeled wide, these shoes were too narrow to even get my toes into them. The canvas looked stretchy in the photo, but turned out to be very hard and stiff, so there was no chance of getting these shoes on my feet.
