I wanted to love these shoes but they were so tight across the top of my foot that they didn't fit. I have never had this problem before in other shoes, so it's probably just due to how the style of the shoes cuts across the top of your foot. So if you have high arches, be warned this shoe might not work for you.

I thought I'd give these a try on my weird feet - some reviews said they ran large/wide, but no not so much. If you have wide feet, you'll want to skip these. They mean what they say when they say "M." I'm sure they'll be comfy for someone to run around in, though...sending them back.

I wear a 5-51/2 in shoes with a narrow heel. I cannot wear TOMS because of my narrow heel. I ordered this shoe in 2 sizes and both too loose in the heel. Even heel grips won't help. TOMS fit narrow in the footbed and wider in the heel.

I’ve always loved the TOMS that I’ve worn in the past, but this pair was very uncomfortable. It’s very stiff and it irritated my foot around my ankle. Compared with my older TOMS, it’s made differently around the edge.

I have many types of TOMS, love them, BUT my last couple purchases I have been trying to just get a pair of original canvas. All I get now are ones that are stiff and give me blisters. Where are the soft ones ?

I have worn Alpargatas for years. This is the first time they are stiff and painful to wear. Fabric feels like cardboard not soft material. Very disappointed in the changes that were made.

This shoe was huge on my daughter, who wears a 12 sneaker. Maybe we are just not used to Tom’s fit, but we are trying a size down, since she likes the style.

I generally am a Tom's fan, but not this time. I wear size 9M, but this shoe runs wide. It gaps on both sides and my foot slides around.

I bought 3 pairs of different print alpargatas, all the same size. All 3 fit differently- one too tight, one too loose, one too big. I've been buying Toms since they started. Just not the same anymore

I ordered a half size larger and can hardly fit my feet in the shoes. The shoes are now made of uncomfortable scratchy material. I have had 4 pairs of Toms and loved them. Would not recommend these to anyone.

Very disappointed with the quality. The sole insert is not glued to the shoe. Poor quality. Seem generic.

Cute print. Love the elements that glow on the shoes, however the portion over the top of the arch bites into the foot (too little elastic/no stretch). I need to cut them to continue to wear them.

I love the color! The side of the shoe is so high it hits my ankle. The shoe is wider than it should be at the sides. Tom's just said sorry, it was a final sale. My first and last pair of Tom's

I have several pairs of Toms of the same type in size 7, but these size 7s were absolutely a half size too big, they were loose before even breaking in. The other pair I ordered in a different color I had the same issue. So weird that the sizing is different. Fortunately, Zappos makes returns pretty easy

These are not the same Classic Alpargata I ordered and loved from a few years ago...sadly, like so many shoe products, the companies change the way they manufacture and YUCK. Just not the same. Footbed is not nearly as nice or supportive - the white bottom is ugly - just awful.
