My 3 year old has been wearing these for the last 4 months and they still look great. We have the navy / red color and they are great looking shoes. I love how easy they are to get on and I will be ordering the next size up in these shoes when he's ready for new ones! I thought the sizing on these were correct.

I only buy Tsukihoshi sneakers. These sneakers because they run a little larger last forever for my kids. I don't know how they do it because they are bigger than their size but they are still not too big so they can wear them comfortably from the beginning. I also wash these all the time and they wash so well! They hardly ever smell too because of the insole. I love these sneakers and would never buy anything else!

These have awful durability. After less than one hour of use, my son had worn a hole through the front. This is absurd. I am used to kids wearing out shoes in weeks, but seriously - I just opened the box today and he only played in the shoes for an hour after dinner - there is seriously a hole in the front straight through the rubber. Forget it! Otherwise, they are cute shoes, but what is the point if they last less than a day?

For the past five years, I have always purchased this brand for my two boys and one girl. They absolutely loved them- so comfortable and rugged. They have been excellent: held up amazingly well and cleaned up even better as they are machine washable. At the beginning of this most recent school year I purchased each child a new pair of Tsukihoshi sneakers and I cannot believe how badly they have performed. The soles started to fall apart within weeks and the heel cup was obliterated in one shoe. I thought maybe it is me or perhaps my kids are playing rougher now (yeah, right) so I bit again and just bought each a new pair last month. Again, what a disaster. Soles ripping up, heel cup gone, and they look awful. I am so incredibly disappointed by the dismal quality of these shoes. We were very loyal to this brand but no more.

My 20 month old daughter has narrow feet and quite a narrow heel. These shoes definitely run narrow, but for her the width was perfect. They did not slip off of her feet when she walked. Unfortunately, I found the shoes to run just a bit short. Her right toe came to the very end of the shoe, but the left shoe fit perfectly. Ugggh! I tried the next size up and those were huge. Oh well back to the drawing board for a pair of waterproof and protective summer shoes for narrow toddler feet.

My daughter wanted these shoes, and chose the color. I think they're pretty spiffy looking, and she loves the way they fit. She's a 13 1/2, just as measured. I had ordered these a half-size smaller as well as recommended on the item information, but the 13.5 worked out and I'll be sending the other back. Expensive, but for the quality and the fit, it's worth it.

These are the second pair of this brand I've bought. Very happy with them. The size is a little off standard sizing, but once that was figured out I've had no problems. Very lightweight.

We love these shoes because they are durable, fit well, and are lightweight. My son loves the colors and how easy they are to put on. I will certainly buy these in the next size when he grows.

Fantastic little sneaker. My daughter has very pudgy feet and she is very picky. These are easily adjustable, very flexible and the part I love the most - they are the lightest kids shoes I have ever come across.

These are fabulous shoes for a toddler--light, breathable, easy to get on and they stay fairly clean. Some of my daughter's shoes scuff up right away, but these still look fairly new after daily wear for quite a while now. Apparently they wash well, but I haven't needed to try, even though she wears them to the park and around the yard. They are generously sized (can wear with socks) but we didn't need to size up. Great shoes.

Love Tsukihoshi! My son has a wide, thick foot, so this fits him well. It is easy to get on and is well made. Love the red color!

My son wears an 8 Wide and a review said they ran wide. I don't think they do at all, even more of a narrow shoe if anything. I love them, they're cute, soft, light, and machine washable. I have to return and try a larger size...let's hope they work!

This is our favorite style shoe! Tsukihoshi makes great kid shoes, and we have tried other styles, but always come back to this one. My son, who is now 4 and has some fine motor issues, can easily get these on and off by himself, which is a huge plus! They are the lightest weight shoes I have found (have tried pediped too and they are just clunkier) and they hold up well to wear. Some reviews say they break down easily but my nephew is currently in love with a pair that we handed down to him and they are still looking great. I have just learned to deal with the slightly higher price tag in exchange for a happy child who is proud of himself for getting dressed by himself and who doesn't trip over his shoes.

These aren't as wide as the Euro style shoes that we initially got so while my son still had some length he could have grown into them, we had to retire them due to the with. Other than that he loved them, they were his favorites, and he could easily get them on and off by himself.

My daughter (5yrs old) loves them as they are so light and her foot doesn't sweat in these shoes. I've gotten 2 pairs already and I think I'll keep on getting them especially for warm weather.

Love this brand for my boys! They have wide feet and a high instep. Tsukihoshi has made their shoes to fit my sons feet in great colors and styles. My son was 11months and just starting to walk when we ordered these shoes for him. He didn't have any tripping problems with them. The infant size doesn't seem to run big compared to other brands, unlike the toddler and bigger kid Tsukihoshi shoes. Also, I can't say enough about how washable this brand is and they come out looking brand new every time!

I love these shoes. This is my favorite style this season for my boys. I love the blue/gray/orange the best (and I am finding that the gray does not look dirty as fast as the shoes with white, of course), but I also ordered the blue/white/yellow for my boys. I love Tsukihoshi shoes and this is the third pair that I am purchasing for my two year old toddlers. The Wheel style seems to fit just like Denali and Speed and Fuji, but I like the colors better and these seem like they might breathe better in warm weather. (The Marino is the only Tsukihoshi that I have tried this season that fits differently--it is more narrow in the arch). I think these Tsukihoshi shoes feel true to size because I usually only these or similar brands from Zappos. They do run larger than inexpensive shoes that you find at large retail outlets.

I love Tsukihoshi shoes and this is the third pair that I am purchasing for my two year old toddlers. I'm returning these because we like the Wheel style better and these seem like they would be too warm in summer. The Denali seems to fit just like Wheel and Speed and Fuji, but it is a less flexible shoe. (The Marino is the only Tsukihoshi that I've tried this season that fits differently--it is more narrow in the arch). I think these shoes feel true to size because I usually only these or similar brands from Zappos. They do run larger than inexpensive shoes that you find at large retail outlets.

I love Tsukihoshi shoes and this is the third pair that I am purchasing for my two year old toddlers. They wore their Maru style from Sept 2012 to April 2013 nearly every day while at day care and they still look like new after several washings in the washing machine and drying on a rack. I have to say that my friends think the aqua colored Marina is too "girl like" for my boys (but I like them) and the orange is slightly too loud for my taste (but would have lived with it if the fit was better). I love the gray and lime green color the best (as did my son, Cole, who is very picky about his shoes). I am returning the Marina shoes and going with only the Wheel shoes for now because the Marina's are quite a bit smaller in width, i.e. the tongue of the shoe barely covers the top of the foot when securing the strap and my boys do not have wide feet. This was true for all three Marina colors that we ordered in size 8. My boys can still wear their size 7 Tsukihoshi Marus, but these size 8 Marinos are smaller in width than the Maru's. The other size 8 Tsukihoshi shoes that I ordered last week fit like I have come to expect from these shoes. We liked the styling of Wheel the best (especially the gray/orange) and did not get to try Speed because we were sent the Fuji by mistake. Tsukihoshi makes a great shoe and the washability factor is the best--we always receive compliments on their Tsukihoshi and my boys never want to take their shoes off. I am giving these four stars because it seems like the tongue on these shoes should be ¼" wider. That would solve the problem, I think. Also, these seem less supportive than other Tsukihoshi shoes.

Size runs very large. My son is growing out of another pair of Tsukihoshi shoes in size 12, but the 13 I ordered in this style is huge. Like I can fit 2-3 fingers in behind his heel.

I am a big fan of Tsukihoshi shoes, and so is my three-years-old son. It was his forth pair. My son is very picky about his shoes, so it's pretty challenging to find the right ones for him. Some shoes he rejects just by looking at them, others he agrees to try on, but takes them off immediately because they are not comfy. But Tsukihoshi are always a hit. My son likes them from the first sight, and when he tries them on, he does not want to take them off, so comfortable they are. That was the case with this pair Tsukihoshi Speed. However, I'm a little disappointed with this model because the shoes lost its shape in a couple weeks of my son wearing them. Now they look deformed and kind of worn-out. But my son still loves them.
