Thanks! We'll notify you as soon as we add new styles for The North Face.
In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach. The company soon became known as The North Face, a retailer of high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. (The name was selected because in the Northern Hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is generally the coldest, iciest and most formidable to climb.) In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment, and in the early 1980s, extreme skiwear was added to the product offering. By the end of the decade, The North Face became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs and tents.

Using all types of proprietary technology, TNF provides The North Face jackets, The North Face clothes, The North Face pants, The North Face bags and The North Face shoes with quality, durability, and above all else, functionality. Throughout the years, The North Face jacket and outerwear division has set the standard in the industry. With styles such as The North Face Denali jacket and vest, The North Face Apex Bionic jackets, and The North Face Nupste jackets, The North Face jackets proves time and time again that they are at the forefront of high-performance apparel.

Their dedication to footwear is no different. With the different categories of trail running, hiking, mountaineering, and most recently ultra running, The North Face shoes division continues to raise the bar for innovation and quality in their shoes. Using proven technology such as Gore-Tex® and Gore-Tex® XCR®, their insulated footwear can sustain use in low, sub-zero temperatures, and with the innovative Boa® technology, users can have a precise fit with the ability to adjust quickly and on the fly. All features that make The North Face shoes a leader in the technical footwear arena.

The North Face’s dedication to quality can also be seen in their gear and equipment. The North Face sleeping bags with a high fill of goose down for warmth and multiple lengths. The North Face daypacks and expedition packs such as the Recon and Jester that are rugged, durable, and can hold all you gear. The North Face tents that will withstand extreme temperatures on Everest and Mt. Rainier. If you have a desire to test the limits, The North Face equipment will help you on your adventure.

So far this is a pretty comfortable shoe, which is why I'm giving that 5 stars. It's a nice looking shoe as well, but there is one negative side that I had to lower its rating for. The heel of the shoe, where there is an oval shaped clear piece, makes a popping sound as I walk. It isn't too bad when walking on carpet but it becomes very noticeable when walking on a hard surface.

These are nice shoes so far. I pretty much only wear them when I am Disc Golfing on hot, dry days and they are perfect for it. The shoes are very breathable so it feels like I am pretty much just wearing a pair of socks with a really awesome sole on them. They are extremely lightweight and comfortable. I am not sure about the durability of the soles though, I noticed some of the tread starting to wear already but not too badly. If these had Vibram soles they would no doubt be the best and most durable hot weather shoes ever!

I'd also recommend: Merrell, New Balance

These shoes are a piece of junk! They look really good, but the pair I received from 6pm.com (Zappos' sister site) were not even close to a size 7.5. I just received a pair of The North Face Men's Havoc GTX XCR in a size 7.5 and they fit perfectly. TNF Single Track II are cut for a very low arch, have very little to no arch support, and the pair I received had the sock lining of the tongue cut so tight that I couldn't even get my foot into it, and I have very flexible feet -- this is never a problem for me. The shoes I received felt like the volume was cut for a boy, not a men's size shoe. Beware!
