Christmas present for a boater - My husband had admired these shoes on a friend and then forgot about them. I surprised him and myself by finding them on line. He absolutely loves them and can't wait to wear them boating. It's 20 degrees here and he is wearing them around the house like slippers.

Looks great, feels great - Fit right out of the box. Within a couple of days this thong molds to your foot and hangs right in there when you walk. It's a 10 for comfort and looks. Get 2 pair while your at it.

They broke easily - I found the shoe to be comfortable and good-looking. The one complaint I have is a major concern. It broke on me within 2 months doing normal activities. I would not recommend.

Zappos and Sperry; Winners! I had asked for next day delivery on these sandals because we were leaving the country on vacation. The lady took all of the info. and set it up so I'd have them the Friday before we left. It got mishandled and was set for 2nd day. Too late! I called and they apologized. Zappos took off the overnight charges and sent the sandals AT A NOCHARGE! They were at my office waiting when I got back. Is that customer service or what? I feel obligated to trade with these people because they are so darn nice and service oriented. They really take pride in customer satisfaction.This shoe is a favorite brand of mine. Sperry quality and style has not, in my experience, been surpassed by any other thong maker. They are light, stylish and rugged. The strap fits higher up on the arch so they stay snug. The leather doesn't stretch out like others when wet. Great for boats and water. I love 'em. They'll last a long time, too! When I bought this pair it was because I had lost one shoe while moving, not because they had worn out. I had had them over 5 years.Buy from Zappos. They are the best shoe store online or anywhere else.

Why redesign? I bought the sandal to replace a pair recently demised when the strap between the toes broke. I thought I was buying an identical pair. I had no idea that the sole was changed from leather to plastic in the year and a half since I bought the demised pair. Bad choice to redesign it this way to save a few cents a pair--especially at the price of $50. The plastic is non-absorbent, and it will slide around on the foot when it gets hot out. I bought the brand originally because of good experience with the deck shoes. Unless there is some surprise in quality that I cannot foresee in this new pair of sandals, I am just going to have to chalk off another brand as a former-quality brand and never buy it again. It would have been nice had the product description clearly communicated the product redesign.

His & Hers...Both Great - I bought a pair of these for myself several months back to wear around the house and on the boat when fishing. I wound up wearing them everywhere!!! My husband doesn't normally like the look or fit of flip-flops, but after hearing how much I enjoyed mine, he decided to try a pair too...needless to say, he loves them too. They are a great wear-anywhere shoe and great for boating. The foot bed and sole are both non-slip so you don't slide out when they get wet, like so many other flip-flops. They were a GREAT buy.

Looks great !! Comfort is great!! But I have one problem. I will have to replace it in about 5 months. The thong strap will break. I have purchased 2 paires in 1 year. I really love the look & comfort, but the piece that goes between the toes always breaks.

Disappointed with Sperry - Look and feel great but within two months the right thong strap broke. Been wearing Sperry's all my life so I bought another pair. Broke again but this time it was the left strap. Hey, no problem I still had two that functioned right? Wrong- two months later (you can finish the story) Bye Bye Sperry.

FEEL GREAT until you have to walk home with one shoe on - I bought a pair, they were comfortable for a month, then one broke and I stubbed my toe on the deck railing, then fell off the side of the boat cursing. I bought another pair, they were comfortable for two months this time, then one broke and I stubbed my toe on the sidewalk then fell off the curb, again cursing. Not that great of a shoe.

Santa Cruz thong - I bought this shoe for my partner who fell in love with the color choices. I have a pair of these from last year and I wear them all the time, out on the boat or waverunner.
