I have four kids and my oldest son gets a new pair of these every year. The rest get handed down. We own around 15 pairs right now. We spend every weekend of the summer boating. They constantly go in and out of the water. The really nice thing is that they dont get soggy or fall off like a lot of other shoes. Even The pairs that have gone though 2-3 summers of abuse on the river are still in excellent condition. I also own 2 pairs of these for myself. The only problem I have had is the tan ones tend to peel but after contacting hoy they replaced those pairs and I no longer buy that color. Aside from that they are long lasting and comfortable and I will continue to buy these every year.

I remember these torture devices from when I was a kid. How people are giving these 5 stars for comfort is beyond me, my guess is they are putting kids in them and have no idea how they really feel. The soles are thin and hard. If your kid likes to run and jump they will hurt his or her feet. I can still remember the sore heels. They look good though.

This is the second pair that I bought for my two-year old niece and she loves them! She outgrew her first pair which were white. She lives in Hawaii and wears them all the time. The first day I put them on she wore them all day and didn't have the slightest discomfort. I will buy her another pair when she outgrows these, too.

I used to get these sandals for my kids...now my grand kids. A great sandal, well made. They do run large. The leather ones can be thrown in the washing machine! Love all the colors available now. And love Zappos service!
