Thrilled! This is my perfect beach day back pack. Everything has a spot, weight is dispersed comfortably, and my hands are free to carry my chair. I especially like the little drink/cooley pouch in the front, and the fuzzy pocket for my phone or sunglasses. Lots of nooks and crannies for sunscreen, earbuds, sunscreen, bug spray. Dry shorts for after and a towel and beach sheet. Not too small and not too big for exactly what I purchased it for. Got a good deal with a surprise sale price!

Dakine makes very high-quality backpacks, and this is no exception. Roomy but not too huge, good internal organization, comfortable to wear. My major gripe is that the two smaller front pockets have single-pull zippers, not double, which makes it just a bit harder to zip them closed if, for example, you have only one hand free. I wish they'd restore the double zip pulls, everything else is so well organized. Oh, and the other thing I like, a lot, is that Dakine offers such attractive prints! So many other brands only feature drab, boring colors, it's nice to have something with a little more zing.

Just what I needed! Excited about the cooler as well. This is great for football games with my boys and good for airport travel. Bag is nice and roomy!

This is an amazing backpack! I love the pattern and color, but even more the functionality is epic! I use it now as my 'diaper' bag for my 3 kids (ages 2-5) and it can hold diapers, snacks, iPads, my wallet, etc...all without making it too bulky. It fits VERY comfortably even when completely full. The top has a tiny zipper pocket that is great for phone & keys with easy access.

This backpack holds so much stuff, and has tons of compartments to keep everything organized and easy to find, from big books to earbuds and chapstick. I especially like the side pocket! It securely holds a pretty big water bottle. I bought this in Sundance print, and the colors and fabric texture both look really nice.

My daughter was thrilled when she saw her new backpack for school. It is stylish, but not too girly. She can fit all of her high school notebooks in it and loves the lunch cooler pocket. She no longer needs a lunch box/bag.

This backpack met all my daughter's expectations!! A perfect pocket for her laptop, and college books! The pocket to place a lunch was an added plus!! The print is beautiful, reminds me of a comfy pair of jeans!

Love this backpack and all of it's space inside. This is the second Dakine Prom Backpack I have owned over the last 6 years. They are durable and fit all of my needs. Only complaint is that the water bottle pocket does not have bungee to secure the bottle in place. I can't tell you how many times my hydroflask has gone flying out of the backpack. That is my biggest complaint, otherwise it is a great backpack.

The backpack is incredibly stiff. It's too big and too small all at the same time. I'm not even sure how that happens! Additionally, the mesh part of the water bottle pocket arrived separated from the elastic part. Not fun! Back it goes. I will not be replacing it with the same model.
