I love these sandals! I first bought them in black and they were so comfortable, that I ordered the red pair. I was leary of the brick color, since I wanted red but was pleased when they arrived and the color was red enough. The toe loop does not rub and I was able to wear them for 8-10 hours on concrete the first time. Born makes comfortable, quality shoes.

Love, love the Born Gabo sandal. I was hesitant as some reviews talked about stiff leather and blisters. Happily, no blisters after two days of wearing them. They are comfortable. I wear a 6 or 6.5 and ordered the 6. It fits well, so glad about that. I have a slight motor disability and shoes that fit are essential. And, best of all, I've received compliment after compliment for the style.

Oh, Born - why oh why won't you make a half size? *sigh* I wear between a 5.5 and a 6, leaning towards a 5.5 in a sandal but varies by brand. Although I keep trying, Born sandals in a 6 are consistently too large for me. Which is shame, these were cute and i thought they would work out well for my upcoming vacation in which I plan to do a lot of walking. I liked the toe ring and the larger coverage of the straps - they both seemed like factors that would keep them sturdily on my feet when walking over uneven terrain. But I know from experience that a too large sandal will tire out my feet so unfortunately I had to return them.

Very nice quality leather upper. Soft and cushiony sole. The only complaint is that the leather strap was uncomfortable in the space between my toes, so it's going back. I usually wear 8 1/2 but this comes in whole sizes only. The 8 was small, the 9 fit well.

I really wanted this shoe to work, the leather that goes across the top of the foot was way too loose which causes a lot of movement as you walk and makes the shoe feel unstable.

I am a Born devotee and like the look of the toe-ring that covers the foot. As I put the shoe on, it felt GREAT. However within a couple of minutes (literally) of walking around the house, I had a blister rising on the top of my toe below my nail. I also was not in love with the look of the wedge.
