Bought a pair for my husband. He is extremely picky, but once he tried them on - he really appreciated them. Fit is nice, and the toe box is large to wiggle his toes. He has foot problems and they have helped lessen foot pains. Great product!

I bought these for my 20 year old son and he loves them. He has a very narrow foot and they fit fine. He also needed a shoe with lots of flexibility (non-rigid sole), and these fit the bill.

These shoes have been very comfortable. They feel slightly more supportive in the arch than my old Inov8 f-lites.
I'd also recommend:

My previous shoes were the previous model of these (the Bare Access 2), and the new model is very similar. Those didn't have the durability problems that New Balance's minimal shoes had, and I hope these hold up as well. These shoes are very comfortable and light. Great for everyday use and intense exercise. Makes a great gym shoe, since it's so easy to stash a spare pair in a bag. Note: I don't know how they do for the "true barefoot" experience, since I wear all my shoes with socks.

I bought these for my husband. He is a runner and cross trainer. He says they are light and feel great. I also think they would look great outside of the gym. Good looking pair of shoes!

Shoes fit well. Didn't like the color. Looking for shoes with more pop.

Love these shoes in particular, I own/operate a gym and have been wearing Merrells for 3 years straight. They hold up great while running and lifting weights.

These are the best "barefoot" road running shoes I've owned, and I have had a lot. True zero drop, very flexible, enough padding to blunt stones and irregularities but still give good road feel, and very easy to run fast in. I use them for my speedwork, and I ran a half marathon in them a month ago with no problems. I like to have a variety of shoes to keep my feet and leg muscles interested, but I have given up for now on the really skimpy barefoot shoes except for my gym work. I think Merrell is at the forefront of making durable, functional, and comfortable barefoot style shoes, and these are the top of their line.

Happy to find a vegan shoe that's also stylish. Was comfortable at first try. No need for breaking in. It's lightweight with excellent arch support. I use it for daily casual wear, and with the Merrell brand, expect it to last for a long time.

These shoes are fantastic! Except for when my feet come down on a rock on a flat surface. Other than that, stairs, dirt and road are welcoming!

Excellent shoe. On my second pair. Very comfortable and often wear without socks. Great barefoot shoe. Fits well and has comfortable toe box.

Purchased these to replace my trail gloves for road running. Overall the shoes were well built and provided plenty of cushion. As others noted the arch is too strong and not in the correct spot for my feet. Tried to break them in with a few dozen miles, but they ended up breaking me. Make sure they fit well before you run (I guess this should have been obvious to me). Otherwise return them promptly.

I just received them today and they are way too small. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and ordered a 9 and my toes are at the end of the shoe! I've never had a shoe any larger than a 9. That usually fits well. I'm disappointed because what I liked about them is they are light weight. I have other Merrill sandals and I love them but have never had any walking shoes by them. I'll try again to order something different as the Merrill sandals just won't wear out!!
