I bought these shoes to wear to a funeral, but the person in question is still with us (thank goodness). The shoes, though good looking, are not a comfortable fit, has never been worn - outside or inside - and I have no reason to keep them.

I had a hard time finding this shoe. I have arthritis and wide feet. These shoes are very comfortable and cuter than the old boring pump.

Beautiful shoe, gorgeous on but I had to return them. I had read the reviews and decided to see for myself. I ordered a half size down to hopefully avoid heal slippage but it didn't help. I contemplated heel pads, but the toe box was too tight. I then exchanged them for a wide width in a half size down to avoid a tight toe box, that did help, they felt regular width and were very comfortable. However, the heel slippage is a safety issue and while I could go buy heel pads, there was no guarantee they would work and potentially render them un-returnable. Not worth taking the chance to alter.

I'm in love with these shoes. The color is unique, and they fit like a dream. They are so comfortable that I feel like I'm wearing sneakers.

I bought these in the Admiral Blue (navy) and they are just what I wanted. I wear them to work with slacks or a skirt and they look great with either. Not too dumpy, not too fancy. Just very comfortable basic navy pumps. If I needed another color I would definitely buy again.

I do not wear heels but these felt so secure and sturdy. I love the padding inside the shoe. I am usually between a 9 and 9.5. I ordered the 9.5 and my heel slipped quite a bit. I am going to order the 9 to compare.

I purchased these shoes to wear to work. They are very comfortable and broke in in a day or two.Initially when I tried them on I thought they were too big. They slipped a little at the heal when I walked.They are still a little loose at the heal but are so comfortable overall I love to wear them at work.

This shoe is gorgeous and beautifully made and I am so disappointed that I have to send it back. They are soft, great support, awesome rubber feel heels that feel like heaven when you walk but they come out in the back. They fit nicely in the front but slip right out from the back, I am so mad! I really loved these; the red color is soft and chic but I have to send them back. I was going to try and add a grip or something in the back but they don't just slip, they come right out! I usually have this problem so please judge for yourself.

I love this shoe. Because of the small platform the heal is more comfortable to wear. I'm able to work all day pain free.

This is my second winter wearing these shoes several times a week and I love them! I've worn them so much I need to take them to the cobbler and have the heel pad (where the heel strikes the ground) replaced. I tried these on in a shop and new the leather would stretch so I bought them snug. I'm glad I did because they will stretch and I've had to start wearing a thicker knee high with them. They have great support and people are always amazed that I can spend all day standing around in them.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and they look good. Mine were about a half size to big so I had to buy heel inserts.

A very comfortable and work friendly shoe. I wear these all the time; in fact, I should probably just buy a whole bunch of pairs. I have run at nearly my top speed through the Philadelphia airport wearing these, while dragging my carry on! (Made my connection, in case you were wondering.)

How I wish I could keep this shoe! A C width is just not enough for my wide foot. An 8.5 is too tight and a size 9 slips in the heel like a flip-flop. I hate to return it but I must.

Love this shoe. Classic style and so comfortable. Had never worn this brand until this shoe. I have it in two colors and am thinking about ordering the 3rd color. Will be stylish forever...wardrobe classic!

These shoes are comfortable from the first step and have a nice way of wrapping around your foot so the shoe feels snug and supportive without being tight. I wear the shoes with dresses and could easily wear them with pants. The blue complements many colors. I like the quirky style and gave only 4 stars because they aren't va va voom sexy shoes.

Very nice heel and comfortable, too. I have arthritic feet but wanted to try to look a little more in style so I tried these and they worked for me. I kept them on during an entire wedding reception and danced like crazy.

I like these shoes but, for some reason, they are bigger in the brown than the black in 7 1/2. I am keeping the black. The heels do not slip in those as they do in these.

These were SO CLOSE to perfect. Remarkably stable, well made, cute...and just a shade too small. I usually wear a 7 in dress shoes, and that's what I ordered, but they were just a hair too tight overall, but not so tight that going up a half size would work for me, I know I'd be falling out of a 7.5. Sending them back is a wrench, I adored these shoes, but several trips around the living room convinced me they wouldn't break in enough to ever be comfortable.

They run big! Cute style and super comfortable -- like walking on pillows! I ordered the blue and they are really pretty -- not a navy but a nice dark blue that goes with everything. Right out of the box they fit well, but after wearing them once, my foot slipped out of the heel...and kept on slipping to the point that I cannot wear them! They are about 1/2 size too big for me, but I cannot return/exchange them because I did wear them once outside. I guess one could add some of those shoe petals or whatever to help fill them out. Out of desperation, I grabbed some duct tape and made a sticky loop that I placed in the shoe -- I can wear these if I duct tape them onto the bottom of my foot, which is not my favorite solution but it works for now. (You might be a redneck if, I know, but I live with my husband and sons, and there's usually duct tape lying around!) Order these 1/2 size smaller and avoid having to use duct tape to keep them on!

As other reviewers have noted, these shoes are quite loose in the heel and slightly tight in the toe box. I have other Earth shoes that are also a little loose in the heel, but with those it wasn't a serious issue, so I took a chance and ordered these. When I received them and tried walking in them, I was terribly disappointed to discover that my heels slipped out of them in a way that was potentially dangerous. I almost returned the shoes, but then I decided to try using heel inserts with them. So I bought a pair of Pedag brand leather heel grips, which got very good reviews on Amazon; and lo and behold, the heel slippage problem is solved! Be warned that the Pedag grips do have a very strong adhesive, so you shouldn't actually attach them until you are certain that they will work for you and that you won't need to return the shoes. (I tried mine out by just placing them in the shoes without attaching them--that was enough to tell that they probably would do the job.) If you're agonizing over returning these cute shoes like I was, the Pedag heel grips may be worth a shot. Aside from the loose heel problem, these are good shoes -- they're attractive, they're fairly well-cushioned, they're stable, and for me, at least, the tightness in the toe is not extreme enough to be much of an issue. I do hope that Earth addresses the heel issue for future versions of these shoes (or at least packages them with optional heel inserts!).

The Tamarack is a cute pump and pretty comfy. In order to get the toe box to fit, I had to order 8 wide. The shoe fits fine without stockings. However, I am required to wear hose for work (flight attendant), and my heels slip out when I wear hose. (Heel pads are not helping.) Most Earth shoes do not have metal shanks so I was saddened to discover that this shoe does, which means I have to take them off at airport security. Overall, I'd say very cute and good for those of you who have a more balanced forefoot-to-heel ratio than I do.

I bought a 7 w and a 7.5 w. I tried on the 7w and it felt perfect, until I started to walk. I could not keep the heel on. I will try the heel inserts to see if I can get a better fit, but as I see, many people have had this same trouble. I sure would like to keep them. Any other suggestions to make the heel fit more snug?

I ordered this shoe in a 7W (I'm between 6 1/2 and 7 W), and this shoe was almost a perfect fit. My intent was to find a shoe that would go with a LBD as well as work clothes. The footbed was comfy, the heel height and style were appropriate for work and dress, the shoe had stability and more arch support than I'm used to. My heel slipped out of the shoe but that's to be expected; however, there were a few deal-breakers. For one, the throat/vamp was a bit low so it pressed on the top of my foot noticeably. And yes, this wide width shoe had a wide enough toebox so my toes weren't crammed in, but the flex point of the shoe (the ball of the foot, the widest part where bunions would be located if I had 'em) was not adequately wide, so it compressed my forefoot in a way that wouldn't be comfortable if I were standing for a few hours. Maybe I have monkey feet, I don't know. The Earth brand Kalso loafers I wear to work most days are designed to spread out the metatarsals and improve the plantar fascia, so I presumed that Earth's pumps would work in accord with that, but these shoes would slowly undo the progress I've made in the Kalsos. Not to say that these shoes are terrible, these shoes are leaps and bounds better than the 'fashion' shoes that are on the market, but they just didn't work for me.

These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. The only issue that has been brought up is my heel slips out. I cannot order a size smaller as they are a perfect fit. I will try heel inserts, that should help, otherwise, love these shoes!

The floor of the shoe and the heel height were very comfortable. I didn't keep them though because they were scratchily rubbing on the top-sides of my feet and I knew that was not going to end well. Very sad.
