I love, love, love these shoes. It's my second pair of these exact shoes. My only complant is that running outside is hard on the sole and it wears quickly.

My friend suggested me to try these. I have plantar fasciitis and I use them for Zumba. The arch is perfect and are very comfortable. I have no pain after my work out with these shoes!

I started running about 3 months ago. I have a moderately high arch and normal, if a tad wide feet (I'm a bit overweight...thus the reason for my running). I have plantar fasciitis and was getting horrible shin splints about a mile into my daily run. No shoe would cushion these problems (I tried several different brands and pairs of shoes)...not until I went to my local store and was talked into trying on a pair of PureConnect 2. I immediately felt like the shoe sucked my foot into it and wasn't going to let go (which was okay with me). I've run about 20 miles in these shoes in the week that I've owned them for. I do not have shin splints anymore. Running a 5k daily doesn't hurt and feel as taxing as it used to feel. I love these shoes and will be buying them again after I've worn these out at the 300 mile mark (Yes. They're only rated to last 300 miles. Mine already looked a bit ripped up because I run on trails and up and down gigantic hills.) Brooks is awesome. I won't go back to Nike for running shoes again.

This is my 4th pair of Pure Connect 2 running shoes. I Crossfit 6 days a week. This work out involves running, jumping, weight lifting etc. these are the best shoes I have ever worn. I have tried many others and nothing compares to the comfort , support and cushion of this shoe. So thankful I found them and recommend them to everyone I know.

I love these shoes and have been using them to train for the Chicago Marathon this year. They are the perfect "minimalist" shoe with some support. I had the Brooks PureCadence before these. The PureConnect do run small but they are supposed to be tighter on your toes because of the way you are supposed to run in them. I usually wear a 9, but ordered the 9.5. They stretched out after a few runs and I realized they were too big. Zappos was kind enough to send me the size 9 instead. They are much tighter on my toes but I like running in them better.

I have very high arches and 99% of running shoes don't give me any support. The Brooks PureConnect does and I can walk in it forever. It's perfect for treadmills and smooth road surfaces, but way too thin for trails, so I just ordered Brooks PureGrit2 for trails which has the same last. I'll let you know.

I got these shoes for my Eighth Grade track season! Last year I got the older type of the same shoe and I loved them so I decided to order the new ones! I have really high arches and these shoes are perfect and they fit like a glove I would recommend them to anyone!

Very comfortable, but it did take me a couple runs to get used to the arch support. Awesome choice for a narrow foot. I have wider feet but since the mesh wraps your feet they don't feel stuffed In there. Mesh upper conforms to your feet. I would pick a different shoe if I had very wide feet. A little above normal wont matter. I do enjoy running in this shoe. I loved the PureConnect 1 and these are just as good.

A lot of the reviews suggest sizing a half size up. Not sure that is really necessary. I bought my last pair of Pure Connects in my normal size, and while they were very tight, eventually they stretched out. I bought this pair a half size up and it fits a bit loose, so I'll be wearing thicker socks.
So, if you like a tight fitting running shoe, get your usual size. If you like having a little extra room for your toes, go a half size up.
The fit feels a little different than the original Pure Connect, but I got comfortable in them quickly and they felt great on my first run.

Love these shoes. Fit my feet like a glove and offer great arch support. Mid-strike cushioning is excellent and heel is lower than the traditional running shoes I've been wearing for years. Thanks to these shoes I no longer have knee pain I used to when I ran in my older, thicker heel shoes!

What I really like about the shoe is that it is very lightweight. I bought them to wear in my aerobics classes. This is a winner.

These shoes are fantastic. I've only ran 3 miles in them, but I can tell that they are going to be my favorite running shoe. Living in the desert in Arizona, I was looking for a shoe that was lightweight, but would still support my high arches. These shoes worked for me right out of the box. No need to break them in or worry about getting blisters. I will use these to start training for a half marathon.

Okay, so ordered pair # 1 and they seemed short in length on one foot, but my Brooks Pure Connect fit perfectly so I took a gamble and ordered another pair of the same size in the PC 2 and voila! They were perfect. So I guess that means that there is some variation like in most brands - which is unfortunately very prevalent. So the 2nd pair were so perfect I walked all over France in them for 2 weeks and could have not been more comfortable. Now Brooks are you reading this? You need to make a fabulous pump and a casual tie shoe with your wonderful technology. This shoe is perfect with a high arch - the shoe feels like your feet are being massaged and fit is true to size.

I'm on my second pair of PureConnect shoes. They have gotten me through four half marathons and one full marathon, and I've never had any issues with them. I'm planning on purchasing a third pair soon. I tend to wear my running shoes down further than I probably should, but even then these are still super comfortable and supportive on any kind of run - long, short, trail, splits. I'd recommend these to anyone!

This is my first pair of more minimalist running shoes. I have to say, I'm impressed! I normally run in Brooks Glycerin, which is an awesomely cushy shoe. But I had noticed that was having some knee pain crop up around mile 6 or so of a longer run. The pain was lingering a bit too and the Glycerin seemed to be exacerbating the problem. Don't get me wrong, the Glycerin's are awesome, but I think, for me, it was a situation of less is more! I'm a convert! The PureConnect 2 was love at first run. I took them out for a short, rather easy run first to test them out, but I knew I was hooked! My first long run was heaven! The shoe feels about a half size smaller to me than my regular running shoes. The width is perfect for me and the toe box doesn't feel too snug. The shoe is super light weight and it feels like a little glove of clouds wrapped around my foot!I can't say too much about the wear, as I've only put about 45 miles on them.

Finally, I have running shoes that will replace my worn out Nike Free v4 5.0s! I have been clinging to my pair of v4 Frees for a couple of years, even though they are worn out. I have tried each successive version of the Nike Frees but none of them have worked for me. I just haven't been able to find another running shoe that I like. Unlike a lot of runners, I don't want a wide toe box. My feet are very small and narrow and they slosh around in a wide toe box which leads to blisters. I like the upper to fit more like a stretchy, supportive sleeve rather than a box. These shoes offer that fit. Per the reviews, I did go up a half size to a 6.5. I wear a 5.5 or 6 in most shoes. I only have one complaint and one suggestion: the complaint is that the back of the shoe is a little stiff and rubbed one of my heels the first day I wore them. No problems thereafter, but I've only run short distances so far. My suggestion is that these are great for running but not a great all-purpose shoe. I don't feel like I have a flat, sturdy base for weight lifting during Crossfit workouts. I can get by lifting weights in them, but on the days that don't involve much running, I'll probably wear shoes with a less springy base.

First time runner! Preparing for my first 5k. A store associate recommended these but they were sold out. I came online and voila! I love love love running in these shoes. I am 33 year, 5'11, and usually wear a 10 in all my shoes. I ordered an 10.5 and they are perfect (as suggested by the associate. I will be ordering other colors.

I've been running for two years with traditional running shoes. These have more arch support than I'm typically used to (my arches are fairly low) but they were PERFECT for transitioning into minimalist running. Another friend who hasn't run for years just bought the same pair and loves them too. These rock!

I absolutely love this shoe! I wear them for running, and they are perfect. The arch support is great. They are extremely lightweight. The only problem was that they run a half size small. I ordered an 8, which is the size I usually wear. I had exchange them for an 8 1/2. Zappos did a great job exchanging the shoes and returning the new pair the next business day. Overall a great shopping experience and shoe!

Oh, how I've missed my Brooks runners! When they stopped making the "Green Silencer" a friend recommended a Saucony she'd been happy with, so I tried them. They were okay, had a narrow toe box and never quite fit right. When I started training for my last 1/2, I decided to go bigger and look for something else and tried another suggestion - bad news -- I was left with a bloody gouge in the back of my heel, so I hit up Zappos and got these PureConnect's overnight. Heaven. I am a 6.5 regular shoe and moved up to 7.5 for these runners and ran my 1/2 without any issue. I have flat feet and these are super comfortable and have a nice toe box. I am not a steady runner (more fall and winter) and I run on paved roads and some trail, around 3 - 5 miles a couple times a week. I plan to buy another pair before they change this model! And, just a perk, they come with green laces if you want a change.

I've been wearing these for a month now and couldn't be happier! They are great for distance running, very lightweight and supportive. Love them! Make sure you buy 1/2 size larger than shoe size. If you wear 7.5 shoe, order these in an 8; they'll fit perfect.

I got my first pair a week ago and ordered my second ten minutes ago - I've been running in Newton's for three + years and difference in comfort (fit) and speed between the PureConnect and every Newton style I've tried is the difference between night and day. Pure Connect is the best - however, don't waste your money on the PureDrift (see my review). Stick with the Connect and you won't be sorry.
