I have large calves and it is very hard to find boots that close. I finally found boots that fit. These boots are nice and comfortable. I wear them casually and to the office with skirts. The leather is soft and great looking. Thank you, Zappos, for great customer service!

These are really cute. The foot part is snug but not too small (I wear a 12M or occasionally 11.5 M) and comfortable. The top/calf portion is plenty big even for wide calves. I've tried on 20+ pairs of tall boots without finding ones that zipped but these have a few inches of room, even with skinny jeans tucked in. The color is slightly darker than I expected but still very pretty. You'll probably want to keep the inserts for storage between wearing to keep the boots from sagging as the material is not as stiff as some other boots.

I have a size 6 foot with a 17 inch calf, so it has been a battle trying to find a boot that fits. These fit great with plenty of extra room in the calf even when wearing jeans. I returned these boots for a pair with no flair because one end of the strap came off the second day I wore them when I got out of the car. The thread had pulled out entirely from the end of the strap. I wish the strap had been better secured. Other than that, I really loved the fit and style of this boot.

Finally! A pair of really good looking leather boots that actually fit over my "GINORMOUS" calves! Ladies with large calves, these are the ones! I ordered them from bed on Sunday (using the Zappos app, its great!) They arrived Tuesday and I'm wearing them today, with a beautiful sweater also purchased from Zappos! They are a beautiful pebbled leather with braid accent and buckle. I think I'm going to order the black ones as well. They are perfect!

I bought the black Katy hoping I had found my boot. I have been looking and ordering boots for years and have always sent them back. I was hopeful that these would be wide enough to get around my very large calves. I love them!! I can get tights and jeans inside these with little trouble. The right boot was slightly tighter than the left but I have worn them during an 8 hour work day and they were still comfy at the end of the day. The leather is very supple and looks great. I am hoping they will stretch just a little in the toe box but I am use to clogs with lots of room in the toe area. Very happy with my purchase and looking forward to wearing these for a long time!

These boots are super comfy and fit my large calves, however the first pair I had scuffed on the toe the second time I wore them. This is just normal wearing...nothing out of hand and the brown coloring came off! I returned them and got a new pair. This time they lasted about 10 wearings before scuffing. It's not as bad as the first time so I'll try dabbing some shoe polish on them and see if it hides it. It's just not worth the hassle of returning them again as I've had trouble finding brown boots that I like and that fit my calves. I have the same boots in black for a year now and never had a problem. I'm really disappointed.

This boot is simple and clean. Nice for a night out, but also casual enough for everyday. I'm 5'1" with a large 17" circumference calf. This boot zipped all the way and wasn't too tall that it went over my knees. Although, I'd prefer a boot with a smooth leather finish, rather than the textured one this has (which makes it look a bit cheaper), it's the first boot that has ever fit well, and I figured something had to give! Good option to try for the price too.

These boot are great for large calves! They are comfortable and have plenty of tucking room. They are slightly furry inside and keep your legs warm. They have just enough detail to make them interesting.

Loved the boots. They look great, but you need to order a size high than sneakers. Also the shaft is wide but the footbed is narrow...kind of its own oxymoron. Walked in them for about 2 minutes and my feet we already hurting. Get a bigger size or thin cushioned socks.

Really great boots for the girl that can't fit into a standard wide calf! Stylish and comfortable and good quality leather. I am so happy I finally found the perfect boots that fit my giant calves!

This is a very cute boot and I love the braided trim; however, the fit is very large/wide. It is labeled "B" width, but it fits like a "D". The shaft is a little slouchy - more casual looking than I wanted. My calves measure 17" and these were wide enough that I could tuck jeans in them - at least an extra inch all around. For gals with wide feet to go with big calves, these would work well.

Love the look and the style of this boot unfortunately the boot measured 16.5" at the calf and I need a 17.5" calf. I ordered the 8.5 size and Med width which was perfect for my foot size. Hoping to find a boot to go around my calf!

I ordered it for my 18" calf in a 7.5 size. Could not close the boot by a full inch at the top. Leather also looked cheaper though it claims to be real.

Boots are lovely; however, they are a little too wide in the calf, which has never happened to me before! I hate to see them go back to Zappos.

Most of the wide calf boots I have tried on here were too snug right away or wouldn't zip up once they were on over skinny jeans or leggings, even though they said 18 or 18.5" width. I have 18" calf and these zipped up over my skinny jeans, with a little room to spare. They feel great, aren't snug on calf at all, and are very comfortable in the foot part also. Unfortunately, I've had to return 3 other pairs of boots I've ordered from Zappos, but their stress-free return process made it easy and I finally got a pair of boots that fit great!

Love these boots! I am a big girl and these are the first boots that I can wear over my jeans and big calves. They are comfy and look great. Only one thing - not really for snow/ice - the sole gets slippery. Other than that one thing these are fantastic. I have them in black and brown.

Although I always read reviews, I rarely write them, but these boots are worth raving about. I have tried on dozens and dozens of boots and none were wide enough in the calf. I am 5'3", have an 18" calf and average width feet-- these fit perfectly. The first time I wore them they rubbed on one ankle where the zipper naturally bent, but after the first day that was never an issue again. I have spent five full days on my feet in them and they out rank many of my usual shoes in comfort, and I am fussy. I would have liked them an inch taller, but they work fine with my capri length pants. The detailing is very sharp. They are a little pricey, but the leather is nice and, given the very comfortable fit, I still highly recommend them. I am so happy.

These are fantastic boots. I bought them before a trip to NYC And didn't have time to break them in before leaving but found I didn't need to. They fit comfortably and provided great arch support as I walked all over the city. The lining is soft and helps to make wearing just tights under the boots comfy, but they easily zipped over my wide calves with even jeans and heavy socks on.

Just got these boots today and I'm in love! I've been looking for a boot that will fit my humongous 18.5" calves for a while now and I'm so happy I sprung for these! Normally I would never pay more than $100 for shoes, but for a boot that fits and will last a while, this was totally worth it! I walked around in them for a few hours and they already feel broken in! So comfortable, super cute, and for the first time ever, I found boots that zipped right up (even over jeans and heavy socks!). I'm telling all of my fellow wide-calfed family members to come on over to Zappos!

On the hunt for brown wide-calf boots, I tried many pairs and was unsatisfied -- until I tried these. My calves are super big -- 19 inches -- but these zipped up fine. The styling and color are lovely, but I also really appreciate the structure. They don't sag in the ankle the way my other double wide calf boots do.

Awesome boots! I have a super wide calf and these were my third attempt. They are comfortable and I love them.

Was so excited to buy these boots. Unfortunately even after measuring my calf as 18 inches, I couldn't come within 2 inches of closing the zipper. Was sad to have to return the boots. If they had fit, I would have loved them!!

These boots fit an extended calf width (a bit too big for me) but the ankle is too tight! I wish these designers would get it right!

These were way more masculine then I expected! They did zip around my very large calves so that was a big plus, but when I put these on, my husband said I looked like a highway patrol officer, haha. Obviously, I didn't want a really feminine boot or I would have picked a higher heel, but I really thought these would look casually girlie. Not the case, these are going back.

Love! The inside of these boots are soft, and they fit my wide calves (which are about 17 inches around), with plenty of room for leggings, jeggings, or socks. They're very flexible in the shaft as well, and they sit a more below the knee than other boots, which I like. Very stylish, too. There is a definite aesthetic flow from the toe to the top of the shaft. Bravo! This has just become one of my favorite pairs of boots!
