Super cute shoes, lots of compliments, true to size. I'm 5'5 size 7.5 and these hit right over the knee. The only thing is that I wore them a few times with thicker socks when it was cold and now they slouch a bit. I'm keeping them but next season I'm looking at boots with zippers.

Loved how these boots looked online, however, I was a little disappointed as I was hoping for a warm cognac color, but when they arrived, the boots look more like a dusty-worn cognac color. I usually wear a 7, tried going the 1/2 size up as another reviewer suggested, but they were still really snug. Ended up going with an 8.5 instead- they're a little loose when I'm wearing tights, but fit perfectly with socks. The only other complaint, the ankle part just above the straps kind of slides down, giving you that slouchy kind of look.

Super hard hard to pull on and the lining gets messed up at the heel as you pull them on. The fabric bunches a lot at the back of the ankle. The leather is nice and soft and they are very comfy. Other than the bulge behind the ankle, they're really cute!

I knew these would be too wide, but I didn't expect that the width would all be in the front. It was as though the shaft came up too soon (that's what she said), putting all the extra space on my shin. They also felt a bit narrow and I would have to order a half size up in order to wear with proper socks. On the upside, the material felt nice and I liked the style (other than above issues).

I've been desperately hunting for a pair of black boots since my favorite pair went out of commission in November. Unfortunately, this is not the pair. The ankle looks strange because it's too wide, and the shaft of the boot is too wide for my calves. A little disappointed - just not the style I was looking for, I'll be returning.

Sigh, I really wanted to love these shoes, the style is exactly what I wanted and I searched endlessly for them. However, the quality of the actual shoe leaves so much to be desired. The first pair were far too small/narrow and had glue on then the second pair the synthetic leather was already ripped and the third pair had unfinished edges where the bootie portion meets the shaft of the boot. I ended up keeping these because the style was right but I would not recommend these to anyone based on the quality and the price was definitely high for something that is so poorly made. If I had found something similar by another brand I would have bought that instead. These shoes will last a season if I'm lucky. On another note, Zappos customer service was wonderful with all the returns.

I had to send these back because they did nit fit at the top of my thighs. I have big thighs, so this will not be an issue for those with normal-sized thighs. They also did not look very well-made, like maybe a cheap pair of boots.

I have a high arch and instep, so I had a lot of trouble getting my foot in the boot and there's not as much give in the bottom as on the top. I haven't had this problem with boots before but I have to return them, I think if I actually wore them to walk around, they would break! I do like them. For me (I'm 5ft4), they are over the knee. They might be a little cheap looking, but, hey, they are inexpensive boots, what do you expect?

PROS Soft leather. Beautiful grey color. Robin Hood styling. CONS No footbed support. Despite both a rear stretch panel and the boot being listed as 15 3/4" circumference, my 14.5" calf (measurement includes tight skinny jeans) fits tightly in the boot. It is so tight that to put the boot on, it pushes/bunches up my skinny jeans at the knee. Whew that's tight!

I wear a size 7.5 and I could barely get my foot into the boot with my sock on. I'm going to order a full size up, I guess. The leather was of expected quality. The shaft is snug which is what I wanted so I hope getting a larger size wont result in a larger shaft.

I love the color even though they are not leather. They scuff easily. They do slouch a bit at the ankle. There is little to no arch support despite having a wedge. The fit was awkward especially across the ball of my foot. They run a bit narrow. I kept them because I wore them out of my house and did not think it was fair to return them at that point. After wearing them since they have stretched a bit but they are still not the most comfortable boot by far.

These boots are extremely cheaply made. Mine scratched within one day of wearing them around the house! The leather was very thin and cheap feeling. I would definitely not recommend these boots if you are looking for reliable winter boots. It's too bad because they are super cute and were pretty comfortable.

I would not buy these boots! They do not stay up at all. I walk for a few steps and they are all bunched up at my ankle. They elastic also stretches out and looks terrible. I, unfortunately, bought them when they weren't on sale and wish I could return them. I really dislike them.

They boots are really cute on picture and in person but when tried them on I new right away that I'm going to be returning them. I wear a size 5.5 in shoes so I always get a size 6 in boots so I can wear them with socks and these boots are so uncomfortable and I have pretty skinny feet so that says a lot. Plus on the ankle part it just sags way to big.

So I got these boots today and was immediately pleased and loved them once I had them on. They are so cute! Then I noticed a defect on the stitching on the boot where the buckle falls over the front. It is cut poorly so the white is showing in the seam. That sucks. Now I have to return them but I like them so much that I am getting a second pair, hopefully they will be fine.
