These boots are super cute, but not at all true to size. I wear a size 11 in all other shoes, ordered a 12 in this one, length was that of an 11, but the width was very narrow on the leg, super tight at my ankle, and loose around the ball of my feet, so loose that when I walked it made a terrible suction-like sound from my foot moving around so much. If you don't plan on wearing your pants tucked into the legs, you might be okay with these...but then you'll be walking around with wet pant legs.

Too tight in the calf. I have 16" calves with leggings. While I got them on there is no way they would work.

I would say my calf's are normal size. With skinny jeans on, the calf width of the boot left about an inch space between my leg and the boot so the boots were pretty loose and didn't fit to the form of my calf. The thing on the side is supposed to give you less room when you cinch it, but it does not pull the boot tighter to your calf. I think it is pretty useless but is cute for looks. The other thing that really bothered me was when the boot is on, there was a lot of space in the ankle/lower calf area that just flopped around when I walked and moved. The extra material made movement uncomfortable and the boots felt very bulky. This drove me nuts! I guess I prefer a more form fitting boot rather than a typical rain boot. Very stylish and cute, typical rain boot fit/form, easy to get on/off, great for ladies with a larger calf. Exchanged, thank you, Zappos for your policy and making it so easy to do so.

These boots aren't bad. They look nice and, overall, they fit very nicely. The do seem a little bit on the narrow side, but it's not to the point of being uncomfortable. A big plus is that they never squeak like other rainboots do. The biggest complaint I have about these boots is that they are difficult to clean.

At first I loved these boots - an adorable fleece lining, comfortable sole, and, for a rain boot, very stylish. They're comfortable and fit perfectly (and I have big calves). I purchased them about 3 months ago, and granted, I do a ton of walking, but the boots have already split on the seams. It's in the middle of winter (aka, slush season) so I need a good pair of rain boots, and these unfortunately just didn't make the cut. I would recommend them if they aren't your go-to every-day boot. But if you do a lot of walking around (as I do) and put your shoes through a little more wear-and-tear than your average pedestrian, I think you might be better off searching elsewhere.

I bought and loved these boots. They were really comfortable, cute, and hey they were Sperry so I figured I'd have them for a good long while. Unfortunately after a few years the seam on the back blew out and they started to leak. Sperry doesn't seem to have a product guarantee that is easily found on their website. Buyer beware - may not last as long as you think.

Extremely disappointed with these rainboots. I've bought cheap $15 rainboots from Target in the past that have lasted me years, but these boots lasted a mere few months before the rubber at the side of the boot (where it bends as you're walking heel to toe) split open. Since then the tear as gotten bigger and bigger. I thought Sperry was a company that designed quality shoes, but I'm very frustrated that I spent so much money for faulty rain boots. (You will see that the stars above do attest to the fact that these boots are very comfortable and provide plenty of support for someone like me who has high arches.)

The circumference size is definitely misleading. I bought these boots knowing that 16 1/2 in. usually is sufficiant, but for some reason they were way too tight around the calf thus causing the material around my ankle to bunch up. Unfortunately, I'll have to return.

I got them, so excited and they were way smaller than what I expected. The boot was really narrow, even wearing them with no socks was terribly uncomfortable and I had to return them.

I've had these for less than a year and they've started to split in the back along the ankle seam. I don't even like wearing rain boots because they always seem chunky and unnecessary. They were great when I first got them but I don't know how they started to fall apart. I don't wear them excessively and only need them 2-3 months of the year (a few days hear and there in snow/slush). I'll be buying Hunter boots from now on since I know those last.

Okay I think I'm in the minority here, but these boots just do not work for me. I went with Sperry because their boat shoes are so ridiculously comfortable. The problem I have with these boots, however, is blisters...terrible blisters. I have relatively wide feet for a size 6, and the lining on these boots is so thick that the space for the foot is too narrow for me. That combined with the fact that these are rubber boots and don't bend well at the ankle made them rub terribly on the back of my heel. I can't wear these for longer than 5 minutes without forming a blister there (yes, I've tried no socks, thin socks, thick socks, blister block, preventative band-aids, everything under the sun). I tried to wear them outside too many times to be able to return them, so I will be donating these and restarting my search. If anyone has any suggestions for another brand to try, please let me know!

Warning: these boots smell very strongly of rubber. I get migraines triggered from strong smells. I have had these for about a month or two waiting and hoping this smell will at least tone down some and nothing yet. My feet sweat terribly in these boots - as bad as Crocs. I wear an 11 and I ordered an 11 and they feel very snug. I am still losing some preggo weight so hoping some of the puffy in my calves will go down and they may not be so snug a little later down the road. I would be leery of ordering these if you have wide feet, are sensitive to smells, or have trouble finding tall boots that are wide enough in the calf area! There really is no wiggle room. I really do love them though and want to wear them.

Upon first impression these boots seem fine. However, after wearing these for less than a week, a crack in the rubber developed along the side of the boot. Water leaked in immediately. These boots are of poor quality and are not sufficient for walking through slight puddles. It might be okay if it were just raining a little, but not adequate for sidewalks with puddles. I would not recommend this product as a staple rain boot.

These boots really disappointed me in the end. For the first season I had them, they were great. But after that, they became discolored and the bottoms came apart from the shaft of the boot, such that water could get into the boot. I expected better quality from Sperry, but unfortunately I will not be buying rain boots from them again. I would recommend getting rain boots that are made all from one piece, not ones like these that can come apart at the seams.

Just got them. The left boot buckle does not stay put. I fear the thin rubber will break if I try to fix it. Returning them.

I wear a size 8 and order an 8 which was too small and tight around my entire foot. Cute boot, but returning it because it is just too tight.

This is a great looking boot with a fatal design flaw. The tabs on the sides do not stay closed. On my pair the right side mostly stayed closed, but not always, while the left tab did not stay closed at all. The boots would be perfect if they got rid of the tab, and instead kept the 16.5 circumference and the elastic at the top. The black quilted boots are gorgeous, but the tab issue is disappointing. Maybe on the next version...

I really liked these when I got them. They were glossy and shiny and I really liked the soft lining, I could slip them on without socks. Sadly, though, they have not lasted. They were never left out in the rain yet they are dried and dull and developed a crack so my feet are getting wet when I walk in long damp grass.

I actually have these in the quilted design; however, they are not being sold on here anymore (but besides the design they are the exact same). To give a little background, I am a college student, so I walk around a lot, and where I live when it rains the streets flood very easily (although it says I'm from Atlanta it's not where my college is). I got these freshman year of college, and they were great. However, I noticed that if my sock slipped down, I would easily get blisters from my ankle rubbing against the back of the boot. Then the buckle on my right boot came undone, and not once have I gotten it stay back in place. Eventually the boots started to rip, and now they have gotten to the point where they have ripped so much in various places that they leak when I step in puddles, so I can't wear them at all. All of this happened within the course of one school year. I've never owned a pair of rain boots before this, so I don't have a basis for comparison. However, as someone that has owned a pair of Sperry top-siders for 7 years, I can say that I am disappointed. I would have thought the boots would have lasted longer since they were made by Sperry. I definitely won't be buying rain boots from Sperry anymore.

I loved these rain boots, I could wear them all day at work teaching kindergarten and still feel great at the end of the day. I maybe wore them 5 times and the seam around the top side of the shoe/toe area popped in 3 places. Zappos took them back readily but I miss them. I would try again but they are out of them.

Deeply upset about this purchase. Having only warn these boots maybe seven times [due to weather relation] the boots literally came apart at the seems after being stored when not in use back in its original box with silicon packs and bags for just days over one year. I contacted Zappos for a return which they graciously accepted and so I went through the process. Only now to find out I was credited a mere amount! At no point was I given an option to take this or frankly I wouldn't have bothered to return them! I would have got out some glue and tried to fix them rather than take the paltry credit--yes that's right--credit, not refund. Extremely disappointed in lack of communication and will NEVER buy from here ever again. I note my original review of this product never posted.

Less than 1 year into owning these boots, the plastic cracked and they no longer keep my feet dry. This has happened to some of my rain boots in the past but only after several years of wear and tear. This pair didn't even make it 11 months. I do NOT recommend this brand.

I wore these boots three times, the rubber tore up the back (which entirely defeats the point of rain boots, they then become rubber buckets), so I returned them to Sperry for a replacement. Sperry has you fill out three options for replacements, so even if you only want the boot you bought that isn't an option. The poor quality boots are gone and now I am the proud owner of boots I hate. Don't get these boots and don't purchase anything but boat shoes from Sperry.

I really wanted to write a good review on these boots, but it is what it is. It is true that these boots are very nice to look at and they are also somewhat comfortable for a rain boot, but the quality and durability of the boot is most definitely lacking and for me these are the features that are most important in a rain boot. I wore them for a total of about 20 times in a 3 month period and they already have a hole in the seam around the bottom edge of one of my boots, and the other one is not far behind... they are also showing signs of cracking in other places...this is most disappointing...perhaps I just got a lemon of a pair? Unfortunately they are useless if they let water in and kind of defeats the purpose. So my suggestion is. If you want a good looking boot, these are right up your alley, but if you want quality? I suggest that you keep looking. Sorry.

Gifted these last Christmas in the houndstooth print and was very satisfied with product initially. I wear these almost daily for a few minutes in the morning when I take my dog out for a walk. 8 months after purchase both boots split on the side where the two sections come together. What is worse than taking your dog out at 6am in the cold/dark? Taking your dog out at 6am in the cold/dark with wet feet...the exact reason I asked for these boots. Very disappointed.
